I met with the raid leaders and officers regarding expectations for BWL content.  I'm going to have a 1-on-1 session with everyone in the raid to make sure they're on track.  Below is a shopping list of items that is required for the beginning of BWL.  I need a DM of a screenshot of your bank/character with the following items:

25 Greater Fire Protection Potion
15 Resto Pots
20 FAPs
80 Heavy Runecloth Bandage
25 Juju Ember
25 Juju whatever your class needs
4 Flasks (Casters - Supreme, Healers - Distilled, everyone else - Titans)
Engineering as a profession (205 min)
40 Sappers
Fully enchanted character
Similar stacks of consumes specific to your class (non-specific quantity)
Enough gold for repairs (200g based on class)
Pre-BIS or better in all slots.

Once we clear BWL we'll adjust the requirements, but for progression days, this is what we need to hopefully get us through the first 2-ish weeks.  PTR time will substantially reduce actual consumes used so it's important to get time in on the PTR so we wipe less, use less consumes.  Once BWL is on farm status, the quantity of the items required to clear it should drastically be reduced.  This list is to ensure we can survive progression.

2/11: MC <--- Server resets, however, BWL comes out Wednesday.
2/12: BWL?
Optional Guild-Wide PTR every Thursdays until BWL releases

I'm going to see if people can call off work, so we can ensure a first night BWL clear.  I'll reach out to people individually.

Our invites go out at 830-845pm EST.  Raids are starting at 9pm.  If you're late or missing raid, a post in #absences is required.  Communication is important.  It takes 15 seconds to bring up discord on your phone and send a message.

Also, we'll be requiring people to pick up world buffs unless they're actively ranking.  I'd like for us to get a Dire Maul instance cleared and potential warlocks to help cycle people in and out so they can get their buffs and have them ready for our upcoming MCs as well as our BWLs.

Once BWL hits, unless you're given an exemption from me, raid takes priority over ranking.

I'll be reaching out to everyone in the raid for a 1-on-1 interview to make sure everyone understands and agrees to this going forward.  I know the requirements are steep, but this is what it takes to get us through BWL and succeed.

Classic progression is one of the hardest tracks that Blizzard has ever put created, if not the hardest.  Each tier gets progressively more difficult, not only because the raids are harder, but because of the preparation required to get ahead.  There is no catch up gear.  You have to gear people through lower tiers.  Attrition means taking a step back as you gear players up again.  Consumes takes hours to farm and wiping is expensive.  Some of you may have read this post and felt excitement... excitement for a real challenge.  Others may feel the desire to give up.  I'm asking for you to reach out to those who are behind, who may not be able to help with consumes and help get them there.  If you're ahead of the curve and can help farm for others, like our healers, please do.  We aren't competing against each other, we're in this together.
