Soo Yun vs Dee aftermath

Same ceiling again. Just as she thought she was out of this bed, right back in she goes.

The door opened and Yu-ri entered. Soo Yun did not have to lift her head to know it was her. Neither of them said anything as Yu-ri sat beside Soo Yun's bed.

"...Guns". Soo Yun started.

"It's a new world". Yu-ri stated simply.

"...Aliens". She pursued.

"Everything is magic when you don't understand it". Yu-ri answered again.

Soo Yun said no more.

"We have a rematch with miss Amara. This time it will be 2 versus 2".

Soo Yun turned her eye to look at Yu-ri, then returned her gaze to the ceiling. Sometimes it just amazes her how her chairman could so calmly tell her to fight the same monster who almost killed her before... and tell her that while she's currently bedridden too. "You and me?" she asked.

"No, you and someone else".

"...a complete stranger?"

Yu-ri's silence confirmed her suspicion.

After Yu-ri left the room, Soo Yun who had nothing better to do and currently unable to go anywhere due to her injuries, began to practice a new breathing technique. The one Yu-ri had extracted from the archives, which teaches the user how to utilize their ki to project their thoughts into reality. Even though Soo Yun was still skeptical about the whole thing, she reckoned that such fantasy phantasm was exactly what she needed to fight these... supernatural beings.
