Every foundation begins with a single stone. In the case of our story, a multitude of rare historical knowledge and exquisite tools, knowledge of the Combine, secrets beyond imagination and unspeakable truths. These all lay inside our foundations.
The Time Keepers was formed for this very purpose. A band of historians, geniuses, and politicians, unified solely by stealing the secrets of the Combine, set to dismay all those who take their gained knowledge, guarding the knowledge from the criminal, taking knowledge stolen by those who would betray their society and throwing them into the darkest pits of nightmare. They embark upon odyssey of obtaining more knowledge, becoming pioneers of science and capturing the worst of the Combine for documentation.

Encouraging the thirst for knowledge and preserving of Combine mysteries, the Time Keepers will always stand timelessly against the uproarious waves of the consuming Universal Union, as the very world around them continues to be plunged into tumultuous despondency. A need for security and an affiance of knowledge. Investing solely in guarding secrets and taking knowledge, the people of their society remain true to the customs, wisely and frugally traversing the gap between knowledge and nightmare for many aspiring historians who's brilliance now carry the hallmark of immutable, perseverance.

From opaque suppositions to the most scandalous of rumours and gossip, they weave a missive of supremacy and locking with they world that they will stop at nothing to discover more secrets to the Combine and fortify their foundations against any incursion. The secrets of the most dangerous mysteries remain safeguarded in a lair warded by a menagerie of highly efficient defensive systems. It is by their very reprehensible nature that they do make for the most paranoid of allies, keepers of knowledge, and hateful of the common filth.

However, as the labyrinth reveals itself, the inquisitive nature of the Keepers of Secrets reveal their skin. The Keepers of Secrets plays a pivotal role to the pursuit of unravelling the mysteries of antiquity and chasing shadows in the darkness of the Universal Union.

Seekers: The greatest masters of their craft abandon tools altogether, shaping the world around them through a hammer and nail. Blackmail, manipulation, force, are but a mere token of what the Seekers will do to achieve their gathering of knowledge.
