  1. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact that legalization of the market for human organs has on their value and to examine whether legalization has the potential to increase the amount of human organs available for transplantation. As a consequence of the shortage of human organs, it is the lack of individuals that are actually donating their organs and also because the government officials have made it illegal to sale and purchase. Furthermore, legalizing the sales of human organs would increase the number of organs available for transplant because some people who would not be inclined to donate their organs would be willing to sell them for financial incentives. Legalization might help to eliminate the transplant waiting list and will lead to getting more organs available, also as having an impact in reducing the number of deaths due to those organ transplants. Another reason, why legalization should be a part of the medical process is because there are many people who have been affected because of the illegal use of human organs and that caused them a failure in the process of organ transplantation. With legalized market of human organs that would not happen and all recipients after the transplantation will get the right medical treatment, such as the donors. We can summarize that if the legalization improves the quantity and also the quality of supplies of human organs without causing further harm to the public, it may be worth pursing.
