My father has just returned from work and told me how he does his job; tarmacking. After college is when I confirmed that construction would become my future career path. After I finished college, I acquired my CSCS card and hopped straight into work. I started working at 18 with the knowledge I had gained from my father and was keen to learn more.

  10. My long terms goals are to work in the managerial side of the construction industry. I have developed interests outside of construction that will help alongside my course. I have played football for almost 13 years. Football has allowed me to gain discipline for myself and focus as it employs mental as well as physical abilities. From the age of 13 to 19 I have been the captain of my team and using this has made me gain confidence in my leadership.
