TOP PRIORITY FEATURES

-Account/password system, using e-mails [mandatory? optional?]

-CAPTCHA/reCAPTCHA
   ->protection from bots, which are an issue for most automated ranking sites  [using numbers may be preferable?]

-Japanese language option
   ->very large pool of players, but unsufficient proficiency in English language to understand how to join for most of them

-Timestamp added to submission upon sending it
   ->this will be needed for archival purposes

-Option to add image/video proof with any given record submitted
   ->proof system coming up in a few weeks, will most likely already be in place before the new site is finished
   ->proof in question could be accessible directly on the new PP site next to said record, if the feature is implemented (optional)


HIGH PRIORITY FEATURES

-Spanish/French/German/Dutch/Italian language options

-Option to specify which character/vehicle parts were used, and if motion controls were used, for any given record
   ->only add if this information will be displayed in the new site next to said record

-Warning pop-up if a time submitted is impossible/significantly faster than the WR/SR
   -> prevents some obvious typoes

-Warning pop-up if a strong record (ex: top 5/top 10) is submitted w/o proof

-Optimisation for mobile/smartphone browsing


LOW PRIORITY/OPTIONAL FEATURES

-Portuguese language option

-Option to specify splits, mushroom strategy, and coin strategy next to any given records
   ->only add if this information will be displayed in the new site next to said record

-Warning pop-up if a SR is submitted without video proof
   ->will depend of the proof policy adopted for this game

-Option to request name change/personal info change directly from the submission site

-Optimisation for Nintendo 3DS browsing

-Report function to inform moderators of attempts at cheating/lying about records, or particularly shady/suspicious submissions


HIGH PRIORITY FEATURES

-Option to warn players if they did something wrong with their submissions (ex: missing proof for a high ranked record, typoes...)
   ->Would probably use e-mails [cannot think of alternatives for now]
   ->Not mandatory, but be really handy for verifiers to contact players that do not necessarily interact with the community

-Optimisation for mobile/smartphone support


LOW PRIORITY/OPTIONAL FEATURE

-Direct integration/embedding for the most used image/video sharing sites
   ->this is mostly an extra feature to make site usage for the verifiers more comfortable and slightly faster
   ->image site examples : Imgur, Abload, Miiverse, Twitter...
   ->video site examples : YouTube, Dailymotion, Twitch...

-Optimisation for Nintendo 3DS browsing
