The Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture at Iowa State University is in danger of being defunded by the state of Iowa, which would effectively close the doors on 30 years of cutting-edge work on organics, local food, soil health, water quality, and biodiversity. The legislation is currently sitting on the governor’s desk. Call Governor Branstad now, asking him to protect the Leopold Center.
