Alexis looks at the guy greetings her, she recognizes him of that day at the gates. "Hmm? Thanks, I'm trying learn all I can of this encyclopedia, right now I was studying about anatomy, I hope have the oportunity someday of study anatomy with my owns hands, not in a book." Stares at Rion for some seconds and then she says: "You are that guy at the gates that was treating that person that were wounded, right?" {1}

Alexis stops looking to him and begins to comb her hair using her fingers. Keeping her serious attitude she says respectfully.
"Thank you. You can sometimes know if someone has a balanced diet just looking at its hair. Nice to meet you Soba...I'm Alexis." Alexis notices how Torazo was going to smoke another cigar already. She sighs feeling defeated. Another lose battle against the people's addictions. {2}

Rion observes Soba taking his leave from the corner of his eye and ignores it. He was betting on his mind that they had a crush on Alexis already. Hm... not like he could blame them, Alexis was indeed a pretty girl, surely the man who gets her in the future would be considered a lucky person. Well, it's not like this has anything to do with him nor does he care about it.

Bringing his hand back to his side, he shakes his head. "Just some insane idiot who went against Prince Taisho and died in the process, and yeah... Study partners, that sounds good. I've been studying anatomy lately, got a book about it and even managed to more or less do an autopsy on a corpse sometime ago, perhaps I can offer you some insight or information you don't know about it, maybe even lend you my book."

Alexis feels really interested about the medical notes that Rion could had been able to gather on that autopsy. "They let you use the corpse for medical purposes? Wow, I envy you. I guess I will have to wait until an opportunity like that presents for me. If you dont mind, then sure I would like to read that medical notes with al the information about the autopsy. I'm a good reader" {3}

Rion reaching with his hand for his pocket, he pulls out a small notebook, he offers it to Alexis. "Here are the notes I got from the autopsy, don't expect too much as the corpse had it's intestines destroyed due to Prince Taisho's attack. That caused a lot of internal bleeding, and they also had one of their lungs suffer two perforations due to sand shurikens from Kiyoko. To be honest, I didn't manage to do a detailed autopsy since we don't really have a clean and sanitizeed place to do this kind of stuff, and I didn't want to risk contracting a disease or something, so next time, if you're there, you shouldn't be missing much."

Alexis accepts the medical notes that Rion gives to her and she begins to read it carefully while he continues talking to her. She corroborates all the information that Rion tell her of the bad condition of the corpse, it was a pity that the corpse was severy damaged and that makes the studing less effective. She takes a mental note about the bad conditions of the facilities of the village, without a clean and sanitize place they will have difficulties to continue with their studies.{4}

"Yes, Torazo told me about the actual problems of the village. We have not an hospital or a place to study medicine. Luckily he told me that he has in mind invest some money to build a place to study medicine." Alexis close the notes and puts it on her pouch, she wants to read more before go to bed and take her own notes. "Still without propper facilities, we will be able to learn to improvise. As medics we will have to help people in the battlefield, that means that we will have much more experience working in bad conditions." {5}

Alexis nods."Rion and I want to study some anatomy. So I told him that we could accept a mission about hunt a wild animal and once we hunt him we could do an autopsy on it. That way we can study some anatomy and biology and at the same time we will help the village. Kiyoko would be the one helping us hunt the wild animal" {6}

Taisho withdrew three scrolls and placed them out onto the desk, smiling at each of them. "Thank you." he'd nod his head "Be careful, though, and if you find more trouble than you need, return immidiately." he'd express concerns

Alexis waits for a while trying to figure out how she will deal with the wolves. Once Rion shows up being chased by a pack of wild wolves Alexis gets ready to do her best. She notices how Shizue attacks one of the wolves and impales it with her dark spear. Alexis sighs, she forgot to tell Shizue to avoid destroy the organs of the wolves. {7}

Alexis will notice, how the shukirens hits on the wolf's torso. She was not proficient with  projectile weapons so her accuracy was not the best. The wolf will be wounded but not dead. So alexis will take out a sand kunai and run towards the wounded wolf. She will stab his neck to end his suffering and avoid more damages to the body of the wolf. {8}

Alexis walks towards Rion and begins to look at him to be sure that he is not wounded, if he was wounded Alexis would take some first aid supplies of her pouch and will begins to treat his wounds in the traditional way. She does not know any medical technique yet. After that Alexis will look at the wolves to check the condition of the corpses, if any of them is heavily damage, she will mark it with a sand kunai to know that this corpse cannot be used to study it, but still can be used for other purposes like fur and the meat. {9}

Alexis Sits on the floor outside the village gates and begins to read her medical encyclopedia. She continues reading the charpet about anatomy. The page has different pictures of the human anatomy with an short description of every organ and how it works. It even describes what are the best ways to conservate much better the organs once they are extracted. {10}

Alexis takes out a notebook and a pen. She begins to take notes of the information that she considers usefull on the encyclopedia. She begins to draw th different organs of the human anatomy and begins to mark on the draws diferents parts of the organ to explain how the organ works, she even leaves a blank space to later compare the human organs with the animal organs.{11}

After that she takes out the medical notes that Rion gave her about the autopsy of the person that attacked the prince some days ago. She begins to compare the observations of Rion and the information of her medical encyclopedia. She tries to organize the notes of Rion much better. Alexis adds the information about each organ that Rion was able to study in the notes that she has of each organ in her notebook. "I guess this is all the information I can gather for now" *thought to herself* {12}

Alexis takes out a hair band of her pouch and uses it to tie her hair, she does not wants her hair gets dirty while they are doing the autopsy. Alexis takes out her medical encyclopedia and puts it closer, that way if they need to check something the encyclopedia could be helfull. Then she takes a pair of gloves and wears it. She takes out a medical masks from her pouch and offers one to Rio. "We need to protect our nose and mouth, we never now what kind of diseases the corpse could have" {13}

Alexis would check the corpse first from the outside. She grabs a pen and begins to poke the corpse with the pen a little to she check the durability of the fur and the muscles. She wanted to write the differences between the humans and the wolves. "Looks like the fur of the wolves is strong enough to act as some kind of natural armor...something obvious but still interesting." {14}

Alexis notices the torso area of the wolf, Rion was right, the wolf looks very thin maybe the wolf had many days without eat. "By the look of the thin muscles. we can suppose that the wolf had not the oportunity to eat enough proteins...meat...I guess thats something common around the desert, that could be an explaination of why the wolves are so violent lately. They are starving.{15}

Alexis watches how Rion begins to open the corpse of the wolf she helps him a little using a scalpel, paying attention to not damage any organ. Once the corpse is open and all the organs can be seen without problems Alexis begins to take notes on her notebook. She grabs a medical saw and says: "Lets cut the bones of the ribs to have more space." {16}

Alexis notices how her medical gloves are already covered in blood. She puts the bones of the ribs on a side and begins to check the organs. "Which organ do you want to remove first to study it?". Once she hears the comment of Rion she rise an eyebrown and says in her usual serious tone: "Really? I did not noticed that, I dont know why...I'm just a simple woman, not someone of a noble family or something like that....Maybe the medics around here are populars" {17}

Alexis sits on the bench and grabs her medical encyclopedia. She begins to try to figure out if the encyclopedia explains something about what happening to her eye. "Maybe my DNA mutated and I developed heterochromia?...no, that does not explains why I  can see the muscles and the bone structure of the people" *thought to herself* {19}

Alexis continues looking at the next pages of the encicopedia and she discoveres something that mentions something called 'Dojutsus' it explains that the dojutsus are eyes that develop strange abilities and that some clans posses this kind of eyes. Sadly for Alexis, the encyclopedia does not posses enough information about dojutsus of other clans, this only explains hypotesis of the medics that had dedicated their life in study dojutsus. {19}
