  4. [19:27:11] <Wolf> *The plane ride goes without incident, car ride more so. Before they know it, they're in Russia, instructed to just follow the street. So they do, and soon encounter two pale Russian women. They're in similar winter-camo outfits, the only real differences between them being that the woman on the left has dark brown hair where the woman on the right has blonde hair. They approach the crew upon seeing them, the brunette women speaking, introducing herself as Katya and the other as Olga. Katya also takes a second to size Reverant up, grunting.*
  5. [19:29:45] <Revenant> *Revenant similarly sizes the two of them up. She's read their files, and hasn't objected to their presence, but she's still very wary. Never turning her back to them.*
  6. [19:32:46] <Hoxton> *Rei nods at the two newcomers. So this is their backup. Oh well. Did they get their files? Do they know the two ladies? He introduces himself however, waiting to see if they have further instruction on how to proceed.*
  7. [19:34:35] <Commando> *Ted stands at rest in full gear--vest, helmet, the works. Urban camo, presumably. Curt nod to their Russian contacts. Then, in his shitty American accent* Privyet.
  8. [19:35:33] <Hoxton> *Rei is wearing his full gear as well. The winter camo they got, weapons at the ready. Night vision goggles strapped on his helmet.*
  9. [19:37:00] <Wolf> *Olga nods, clearly preferring to not have to talk at all. She then goes to walk down the road.*
  10. [19:37:43] <Revenant> *Revenant similarly is geared up, but with the addition of a black ballistic mask. It's somehow made even more creepy by its lack of decoration.*
  11. [19:37:53] <Commando> *Ted looks puzzled, exchanges a look with Rei.* Pfft, well all right, then. *A nod to Revenant.* You better take point.
  12. [19:38:54] <Hoxton> *Rei looks just as puzzled* No further information then? How will we proceed from now on? Where is the facility?
  13. [19:39:23] <Revenant> *Revenant nods and follows Olga, her Kobus at the ready.*
  14. [19:39:46] <Wolf> *Katya points towards where Olga is now walking.* Far.
  15. [19:40:25] <Hoxton> *To Ted* At least they seem to know their way around weapons.
  16. [19:40:42] <Revenant> *Revenant remarks, in unaccented Russian,* <You may use Russian if you find it more convenient.>
  17. [19:40:47] <Hoxton> *Now that gets a puzzled look* Will we walk?
  18. [19:40:55] <Commando> *Ted just laughs.*
  19. [19:41:35] <Commando> At ease, soldier. Try and enjoy it, huh?
  20. [19:42:26] <Wolf> *Katya looks a bit surprised at Reverant's comment, cracking a small smile.* <What a relief.>
  21. [19:42:52] <Wolf> *And at Rei, she just.. stares. Then nods.*
  22. [19:43:20] <Revenant> <How far to our destination? What will we use to approach?>
  23. [19:43:27] <Hoxton> *Rei looks at him, then around. He takes a deep breath and nods.* Yes. I shall. Though it is my first time I have been deployed overseas.
  24. [19:44:27] <Wolf> <Not long. We have to go on foot, though. We'd draw too much attention otherwise.>
  25. [19:44:59] <Commando> *loudly* Hey, some of us don't understand Commie.
  26. [19:45:31] <Revenant> *Revenant nods, begins translating as soon as she's done talking.* She says it won't be too long, but we need to go on foot. Could draw attention otherwise.
  27. [19:46:02] <Wolf> *Katya snaps a look over to Ted.* Eat shit.
  28. [19:46:12] <Hoxton> *A nod from Rei. At least some answers.*
  29. [19:46:32] <Revenant> *Revenant cracks a smile beneath her mask.*
  30. [19:46:35] <Commando> *casually flips the bird to... Commie #1. He won't remember names after this; to Rei* You serious? You've never been overseas?
  31. [19:46:41] <Commando> Not even to Japan?
  32. [19:47:30] <Commando> *Just five people trudging through the snow... armed to the teeth. Nothing to see here.*
  33. [19:49:51] <Hoxton> *A shake of his mostly covered head.* Not yet. The last years were busy. Though after this job, I shall. *He sounds a little flustered maybe.*
  34. [19:52:27] <Commando> *A hearty clap on the back.* Come on, we gotta at least stop by Japan on the way home! We're gonna be flush after this one, so let's just pay our own way home. We can stop by Tokyo, uhhh... Kyoto, all the other cities that end in "o". Whaddaya say? It'll be ages before we're deployed this close again.
  35. [19:53:03] <Commando> *Sadly the only cities he can think of aside from, well, Hiroshima.*
  36. [19:55:00] <Wolf> *So it's about a 15 minute walk until the building's visible. All the while, the two sisters chatting amongst eachother. Revenant, they basically just talk about how much they regret this job and make fun of Ted in Russian that whole walk.*
  37. [19:55:22] <Commando> *What does the building look like? Visible exits? Guards?*
  38. [19:56:07] <Revenant> *Revenant will translate what they're saying if asked, but she's not going to shit-stir without prompting.*
  39. [19:57:47] <Wolf> *So it's a big white building. Almost looks like an office building if not for the fact that there are zero (0) windows, and one visible metal door with a camera facing to it.*
  40. [19:58:12] <Hoxton> *Rei looks briefly puzzled but bows a little. Looks probably plenty weird from a guy armed to the teeth.* I would not say no to that. There are a lot of beautiful places I want to see. *he sounds a little more relaxed now than most of the time. He clearly enjoys this planning.*
  41. [19:59:48] <Revenant> ((Did we ever get an answer re: ordnance))
  42. [20:01:23] <Commando> *It's cool, Ted's long come to grips with the fact that Rei's... kinduva samurai. At least more samurai than grunt.* Cherry blossoms, huh? Bet they're gonna be in full bloom soon. And besides, think about all that food. Those little Pocky sticks--and I bet they've got every last damn anime you've ever seen. Shit we can't even imagine, man. Let's definitely take a detour in Japan.
  43. [20:01:24] <Hoxton> ((Rockets or anything we could use for this?))
  44. [20:01:38] <Revenant> ((otherwise how the fuck do we get in the door))
  45. [20:02:38] <Wolf> ((oh yeah, forgot abt that. yea youve got a satchel of c4))
  46. [20:03:32] <Commando> *What's the camera look like? Fish eye lens, or directional?*
  47. [20:04:42] <Hoxton> *A little sigh from behind the balaclava but then Rei goes to explain in a low voice the intricacies and misconceptions Ted has about japan. Chopstick culture and that, of course, since anime comes from japan. But shh he is not watching much because the job comes first though. But a soon a the building comes into view, he slips his goggles on and readies up. The enemy is right up ahead*
  48. [20:05:16] <Hoxton> *To revenant to ask the russian woman* Is this all or is there an underground facility as well?
  49. [20:05:35] <Revenant> <Is there more belowground? Or is that the entire facility?>
  50. [20:07:18] <Wolf> <That's the whole thing, as far as we know.>
  51. [20:07:31] <Revenant> That's all of it, as far as they know.
  52. [20:08:15] <Commando> Well. *And that's Ted moving towards the door, taking C4 out of the satchel. Visible hinges? He's deploying on that. Otherwise, just on the edges. Gonna blow this motherfucker sky high, camera be damned.*
  53. [20:08:47] <Commando> *I'm seeing just this bare... featureless slab of metal. Correct me if I'm wrong.*
  54. [20:11:02] <Hoxton> *Rei unholsters his SMGs. Since they are going in loud, no need to keep things quiet then. He backs up for the C4 to bow.*
  55. [20:11:59] <Revenant> *Revenant keeps an eye on their rear, making sure no one sneaks up on them.*
  56. [20:12:10] <Wolf> *Hinges, yeah. Olga claps a bit, excited to watch the door blow.*
  57. [20:14:39] <Commando> *Ted checks the detonator. Backs up to the others, to a safe distance. Yells out* FIRE IN THE HOLE! *And he hits the button.*
  58. [20:17:54] <Wolf> *AAND.. KABOOM! The door blows open, alarms immediately blaring. Katya, with a pair of Uzis, and Olga, with a grenade launcher, run right inside to what looks like a clearence room of some kind, killing anything that moves.*
  59. [20:18:49] <Revenant> *Revenant's perfectly willing to let them go first, as cannon fodder.*
  60. [20:19:10] <Commando> *Perfectly fine by Ted. He's standing a few paces behind Revenant, eyebrows raised.* Well, hot damn.
  61. [20:21:13] <Hoxton> *Rei looks at them before moving* Shall we support you or get the VIPs out?
  62. [20:22:40] <Revenant> Let's see what we find first, what condition they're in.
  63. [20:22:40] <Wolf> *The next room opens up thanks to that, a loudspeaker reading off some red alert script. Katya thinks for a moment, struggling for words.* .... Recover the toasters.
  64. [20:47:12] <Wolf> *The next door leads to a hallway. Empty. Alarms still blaring. Everything's labelless, but the girls point you in the direction of where the first "toaster" would be.*
