  1. Regions:
  2. Tyr - Sandstone rocks dominate this region. The people here mostly build out of adobe, or hardened mud. There are very few plants here besides cacti and scattered brush, and crops only grow in well in fields irrigated by waterways or natural springs. This region is known for its gorgeous mesas, and people sometimes carve settlements into the side of these impressive rock structures. This region contains many natural landmarks, such as the massive Awatubi river canyon (only crossed by the defended Castle Sonreni) or the Frublue Mesa, a small but tall rock structure on top of a natural spring which the windy town of Gale is built on.
  3. Heim - Meaning "ice" in the tongue of the ancients, Heim is a cold land that goes entire seasons without sunlight. This land is cold and harsh, and the plants and animals here have evolved to hybernate during the dark season. Plants here mostly have a crimson reddish appearance, and have evolved to melt the snow around them by creating small amounts of heat. The people who live here, known to outsiders as the Heimhordsemen, have pale white skin and yellow eyes, giving them an almost sickly appearance to outsiders. Most of this land is too cold for trees to grow, and is covered with red glasslands that streach from horizon to horizon. Most hordesmen grow different kinds of fungai for sustinance, as it grows much faster than the plants found in this strange region. Kamjo, an alchoholic beverage made from fungai, is one of the only exports of this region besides furs and a few local herbs. Eastern heim is usually covered with ash and is known as the Ashlands, due to fierce volcanic activity in this region. It is common for locals here to worship Ramaraunt, a god who encourages violence in order to gain wealth from others.
  4. Brevin - Brevin is a cold island, one of the last strongholds of the norse pagan religion. After the Makerist crusades nearly a three centuries ago, the norse pagans were pushed out of the main continent and nearly driven to extinction. However, the Norse Empire still lives on to this day on the isle of Brevin. While only a fraction of what it used to be, the Norse are still a force to be reconed with, and are quite capable of defendeing their homeland with their legendary armies of houscarls and unmounted levies. However, Brevin is a very cold place with not many resources, so it is common for viking raiders to leave this island in order raid the surrounding lands. In response to Brevin, most settlements on the northen and eastern coastlines of the mainland have been built in defendable positions with thick stone walls for protection.
  5. Samling - Also known as Samlincheg in the local tongue, Samling is the northernmost region of the main continent. This land used to be the center of the norse pagan empire, and still has many remnents of their culture. However, due to the religion being outlawed by the Makerist conquerers for the past thousand years, the region has evolved to also be a center of Makerist culture. Oftentimes, these contrasting cultures result in conflict. Most nobles in this land have bloodlines that originated from foreign lands further south, and speak different languages than their subjects. This has resulted in much unrest in the region over the years, occasionally causing bandit warlords to rise and fall, and occasionally causing regions to be taken over by locals. Usually, if this happens the Makerist church will promptly excommunicate the rebels, causing them to lose face and to eventually be defeated.
  6. Carnage - The Carnagian Penninsula was once dominated by the powerful Kingdom of Carn. Before the Makerists arrived in this region, it was known for being dominated by Druidic tribes. After they were defeated in the crusades roughly 700 years ago, the land was united under the noble family of Argoth, a house which still exists to this day. However, 100 years ago, a mistake was made during the birth of two twin heirs, and noone was sure which one was the eldest. The resulting conflict that occured after the twins became of age, tore the country apart, and allowed rival counts to take advantage of the situation and form their own smaller kingdoms. Today, the land is seperated between four kingdoms: Calavera, Avardia, Canfor, and Pescalon. Conflict in these lands is unending, and the land in the center of these kingdoms, which was once home to the mighty capital city of Bredby, is now full of the charred remains of settlements that have been destroyed over the century of conflict. House Argoth still rules, but only in the Kingdom of Avardia under king Auron Argoth.
  7. Yore - Yore is a powerful kingdom, with thick forests and tall mountains. The people here have a rich history of conflict with one another, and were known for their druidic tribal conflicts that occured for an unkown amount of time. After the Makerist crusaders finally conquered this region 800 years ago, the land was united under house Vynar. This land is notable for peasant rebellions four centuries ago, that resulted in the land turning into an expiremental democracy with a prime minister who was voted into office and several local tribal representatives from each region. The Makerist church was upset by this, and excommunicated the entire region. In response, the new government of Yore created a new church, the Church of Yore. However, this democracy only lasted for three hundred years, and the nation became a kingdom once more about one hundred years ago after the prime minister took over the government and declared himself king, and re-adpoted the Makerist church as the main religion of the country. Yore is famous for its glaive wielding warriors, who pass down the martial art of glaive fighting from generation to generation.
  8. Gechany - Gechany is a powerful kingdom in the center of the main continent. After the early Makerist crusaders took over this region a thousand years ago, the invading nobles couldn't agree on who would rule this land, and it eventually split up into several warring factions, who formed smaller kingdoms and fought over the territory. However, four hundered years ago, the land was united under house Fowler. While numerous houses have been in control of the kingdom since this conquest, the land has still remained unified for all of this time.
  9. The Gold Coast - The gold coast region lies on the southern coast of the main continent. It is well known for its ample reserves of gold and climate that allows for bountiful harvests. Because of this, the kingdoms in this region are probably the wealthiest in all of the lands. The Holy Makerist Empire's main holding is in this region, which is directly controlled by the Pope.
  10. Aran - South, over the Gull Sea, is the desert region of Aran. This region is mostly baren of life, though it has a few scattered settlements located around oasises and river valleys. Makerism has mostly conquered all of these lands, though the southernmost portions of this region are still under control of the Imperial Remnant.
  11. The Imperial Remnant - Worshipers of Bimak, the people of the Remnant still stands strong against the vast continent of Makerist holdings to the north. Once a powerful empire who worshiped the god of civilization, the Remnant lost ground after the teachings of Haravin swayed many that the three gods Bimak, Irkos (god of the norse), and Faven (god of the druids) worked together to build creation instead of fighting one another. However, the remnant still holds a small chunk of their empire in the far southern corner of Aran, in the rocky cliff region of Clysore. This region has grown to become very isolated from the rest ofthe world, with traders forbiden to traverse between the Makerist and Bimaki territories without the risk of death.
  12. Squam - Squam is a distant and almost legendary continent, to the west of Aran over a large ocean. It is said that this continent is home to a race of trolls known as the Mandrills. These people have colorful rainbow faces and are covered with black fur. They live in a thick rainforest, but not much is known about their society, but they are heavily looked down upon by Makerists for not being human, the chosen protectors of Salior.
