- Handheld Heroes Edition
- Hey guys, how’s it goin?
- I wasn't sure how long my Game Boy Tetris Attack journey would last this time around, but it's already just about over now that I've improved all of the Vs. Com individual categories. I was expecting a very steep re-learning curve due to the jank contained within, but the Pokemon Puzzle Challenge training over the past year must have done more to help that along than I should have figured. Next week, I will take on the rest of the GBTA categories and then take my talents to Nintendo Puzzle Collection.
- This week, however, I will be doing something that I have never done before. I will be speedrunning Rhino Rumble WITHOUT RESETTING! This weekend, twitch.tv/SpeedGaming will be hosting a handheld console speedrunning marathon called Handheld Heroes! On Saturday, I will be racing Rhino Rumble against WinnerBit. We will represent the Rhino Rumble community with pride... because we are the entire Rhino Rumble community. I will need to prepare for this moment by actually finishing a bunch of runs in a row for once. The deaths are easy because the hitboxes are huge so game overs are a real possibility. That should be FUn. Check the full Handheld Heroes schedule here: https://horaro.org/handheldheroes/summer2019 and follow the marathon on Twitter here: https://twitter.com/Handheld_Heroes. After Handheld Heroes, I will probably be spending my Saturdays trying to TAS Rhino Rumble. TASing is usually a really long process. That pretty well means no Saturday streams for a while.
- Speaking of marathons, I should also find out soon if I'm going to be playing The Land Before Time (GBA) for Licenseathon, a marathon of licensed game speedruns taking place in two months hosted by Jak8. More information on that as it becomes available.
- That’s my life story for the week. Until next time, everyone, thanks for reading!
