Soft carnation colours the gentle curves and flat base of this delicate
tea cup. The exterior of the bowl bears a thin strip of rich carmine
near the lip but is otherwise unadorned. A small cluster of roses cut
from rubies decorates the cup where the handle fuses with the base,
smaller blossoms climbing up the haft but placed so they do not cut the
hand.
