I consider this blog to be both private and SELECTIVE, meaning that I will only interact in - character with mutuals, and that I’ll be relatively choosy about who I have on my dash.  If I follow you / follow you back, it means I’m interested in plotting and writing !  ( I’m usually pretty good about checking out new followers, but give me a day or so. )

* PORTRAYAL

This portrayal of Bucky is based solely in his 616 Marvel Comics canon and my own personal headcanon and development.  Please be aware that while I do / will diverge from the comics storylines, I DO NOT and WILL NOT acknowledge the MCU's ( frankly disappointing ) narrative for Bucky, nor will I incorporate anything from his Secret Empire / Thunderbolts arcs or from Ales Kot's Bucky Barnes : The Winter Soldier run.

* SHIPPING + EXCLUSIVITY

Chemistry is the most important thing to me when it comes to establishing relationships ( both romantic + platonic ) for Bucky, and I do plan on most likely practicing SHIP EXCLUSIVITY as I progress on this blog.  I’m also open to the idea of establishing main / exclusive writing relationships once an OOC rapport and in - character plot arc has been established !

Please be aware that Bucky is pansexual / panromantic, but that he is also on the grey - ace / aro spectrum.  Romantic interactions are up to my discretion, and I vastly prefer pre - plotted ships over spontaneous ones.

* DASH / WRITING ETIQUETTE

Bucky is a beloved character with a lot of backstory, visibility, and popular fanon, and while I understand that makes him way more accessible in some ways, it’s important to me that, in - character, his motivations and emotions are respected regardless of what may or may not be ’ known ’ about him.  All the basics apply here : no godmodding / metagaming, please don’t force ships or dynamics, don’t assume anything major like pre - existing relationships or family connections ( without discussing with me first ).  I’m open to talking over / plotting just about anything, but a great rule of thumb is to just shoot me an IM first !

* MEMES + STARTERS

Starter calls and in - character memes are MUTUALS ONLY ; OOC memes / headcanon questions are open to anybody.  However, starter calls will be rare, as I strongly prefer converting meme replies into threads, so if I answer a meme and you like where it’s going, PLEASE feel free to continue it in a new text post !
