The Night Sky

It's night right now, meant to be in bed, but I'm lying here awake, thinking of what wonderful life I want to live one day,

The stars and moon are out, shining in the dark night sky, I love the night, it's calm and silent, soft and easy on me...

Oh, it's just like you! Your eyes are dark, pitch-black as the night itself, let me look into your eyes, I usually can't look at people's eyes but yours are inviting to my shy, little soul.

But it's okay if you don't want to gaze into my ocean blue eyes, because I am shy sometimes, I understand you, and I hope you understand me, we both have the same sort of... feel to us.

Everybody thinks we're weird, people always are annoying us, people always think they understand when they don't really understand us, but we understand each other! People try to keep us apart but we always find a way to be together

Just let me gaze into your black eyes, your dark, beautiful, night-dark eyes, as calm as the night sky.
