48. The Rescue Bots are Transformers that work with a family of heroes to rescue humans from disasters. These non-violent Transformer stories are aimed at preschool viewers.
 49. Guess I got spoiled by Transformers Prime, because this show sucks. Characters suck, voice acting sucks(except Peter Cullen of course). Stereotypical garbage. Basically one family runs the town. Can't stand the guy with the fire truck (Cade, I think). Just no.
 50. Transformers: Rescue Bots is targeted to a younger fan group of Transformers and to help introduce them to the Transformers but it does allow for the adult fans to watch it with their children.

The plot of the series centers around Four Autobots: Heatwave (Voiced by Steve Blum), Chase (Voiced by D.C. Douglas), Blades (Voiced by Parvesh Cheena) and Boulder (Voiced by Imari Williams) are given the mission by Optimus Prime (Voiced by Peter Cullen) to learn about Earth, about humans and serve and protected.

Along with their human allies Chief Charlie Burns (Voiced by Maurice LaMarche, and his family Cody Burns (Voiced by Elan Garfias, Dani Burns (Voiced by Lacey Chabert), Kade Burns (voiced by Jason Marsden) and Graham Burns (voiced by Shannon McKain)

The series also feature guest stars such as LeVar Burton, Jeff Bennett, Kath Soucie, Mark Hamill, Michael Bell,Katherine McNamara,Tim Curry, Stacy Darrow, Dee Bradley Baker, Jim Cummings, Roger Craig Smith

The stories for the show do work for both kids and adults with having both serious and humor but along with making the show work.

Also the creative written does present some funny one liners so the writers have done something right.

Voice acting is pretty talented as well and good we got Transformers Vets returning to work in The Transformers.

Animation is original and only the best way to give it a understanding is to watch it for yourself.

What I like best about the series is the theme song and intro it is very catchy and the lyrics work for the show there are times I replay the song over and over because I enjoy it that much.

If you're a fan give Transformers: Rescue Bots a try you might be surprised.

 52. Rescue Bots is aimed at a considerably younger audience than most other Transformers cartoon shows, hence the fun, easy-to-follow stories and the bright, colorful and attractive animation. The toys based on the show are also engineered to be very simple to transform.

This, however, does not mean that the show is "dumbed down" in any way -- on the contrary! The characterization, fast-paced action, humor, and the several movie references and technical terms that the target audience probably wouldn't understand, make it bearable to any grown-ups watching it with their kids.

In a nutshell, Rescue Bots isn't a kids' cartoon in the sense that it can only be enjoyed by children. It is a fairly intelligent and competent cartoon show, which is only "juvenile" in its simplistic animation style, at times silly-sounding story premises, and in the sense that violence and other themes not suitable for children are kept at a minimum. Yes. They both take place in the same continuity, as confirmed by Executive Producer Jeff Kline. The Optimus Prime and Bumblebee in this cartoon is the same ones as in the Transformers Prime (2010) animated show. If you have followed both series, you may have noticed that the time when the Rescue Bots lost contact with Optimus corresponded exactly with the story arc in Transformers: Prime during which he became brainwashed and joined the evil Decepticons. No, no Decepticon character has appeared in the series so far. The reason behind this is that the main focus of this cartoon isn't the war between the Autobots and Decepticons -- it's about a rescue unit of relatively inexperienced Autobots whose objective is to ensure the safety of their surroundings.

The creators have also explained that if any Decopticons were to appear, they would have to be "defanged" greatly in order to maintain the child-friendly tone of the show. Not wanting to tone down the threat posed by the Decepticons, they instead chose to avoid featuring them.

References are made to the existence of Decepticons, though. Optimus Prime mentions them briefly in one of his messages to the Rescue Bots, and in the first season finale, Bumblebee briefly confuses a group of Morbots (giant rule-enforcing robots created by the evil Dr. Morocco) for Decepticons. a5c7b9f00b
