  1. ive spent the past few years learning to code, but i feel like im not good enough to get a job. my college seems to think its better to learn the basics in a bunch of languages than to lean more advanced skills in a small handful of languages, even as far as teaching assembly cuz they ran out of other languages to teach. they also think java is the most important one to teach and C++ isnt worth teaching at all even though they advertised otherwise.

  3. i didnt figure all this out until it was too late to transfer with my finances in tact. i tried using google as a substitute, but i have no idea what skills companies would be looking for. do you know where i can go to find lists of what i should research? also if youre up to it, is there any way i could speak with you 1 on 1 about this? superchats arent the best place for it
