Thoughts on the recent outrage

I just have to say what is going on in the NFE Discord is not right. Since before the unfair muting of users who make awful jokes (keyword: jokes), the NFE auth has made several huge mistakes in the past two or so weeks alone. To start off, staff and highly regarded users lambast racial jokes (such as those made ONE time by Freelia [sidenote: remember how he was muted wayyyy over the time the admins said?]), but then several staff declare "that's the way the room is" and that "they can leave if they want". Meanwhile, the same people also attack women who just want to talk and play Pokemon. I care about this tier, but some of the moderation decisions are baffling. One night, I was in chat, just speaking in my native Arabic tongue, until I was told by deetah that it was wrong. When several users asked her for an Arabic room (as the NFE room actually contains a lot of Arabic users), she declined to answer. This is just one example of users not being heard. Later, when other users asked for a safe space for women, deetah also declined and asserted that she owns the room and affirmed once again that she owns the room and will not listen to your suggestions if they do not benefit her. When people protested Durza's ban (for toxicity, of all things, meanwhile RGamer, Elgino10, and raf are allowed to flame, but that's okay because they're highly regarded within the room), they were shot down and told that mods have absolute power over the userbase. To add to the complaints, most of the playerbase wants a Gurdurr suspect, but instead, deetah is too busy asserting
 her power over the playerbase to do anything about it. Fille would be a much tier leader, and, collectively, this adds up to a (growing) list of complaints, increasing the distrust with the moderation team. To keep this concise, change needs to happen, and it needs to happen soon.
