  1. WELCOME TO THE WORLD POKEMON FEDERATION (WPF)! There are six active leagues each with their own unique rule set catered to their own intended format. To see their rules, observe the "Home Page" on any of their respective league documents.
  2. This channel serves to outline the expected rules of conduct for all family members of the WPF. They are as follows and are in no particular order:
  3. 1. The WPF thrives on a strong feeling of community and family-like-comradery. As such, treat everyone in this server with the respect and decency all humans are privy to. We welcome all kinds of people into the server from all across the world, all of them deserve to be treated fairly to "their face" and "behind their back".
  4. 2. The moderator team in the WPF are individuals whom I have placed special trust and confidence to effectively moderate all of the general chats, and conduct in each of the community channels. Any request made of you by a moderator needs to be addressed as quickly as possible to ensure the server is operating at peak efficiency and to maintain our high level of moral.
  5. 3. I wish and implore every individual in the WPF to feel welcome in the server. If, for whatever reason, you do not feel comfortable with anything happening to you, the people in the server, or the server itself, I am reliant on you to bring your concerns up to either myself or one of the moderators. We will work diligently to ensure those concerns are addressed in a fair, timely manner so that everyone can continue having a good time. We cannot correct a situation if we are not made aware of the situation.
  6. 4. The <#598316960614318090> exists because I value every member of the WPF's opinion, and would like to implement change in accordance with what the server generally wants as often as possible. Please be sure to check this channel often to voice your opinion on the happenings in the server. If you have an idea you think is worth bringing it up, reach out to myself or the mods and we may decide its worth polling to gauge interest.
  7. 5. There are many community activities here at the WPF, and many of them have special roles associated with the activity that are assigned to interested members. Examples are the "QOTD", "trivia enthusiast", and any of the division coach roles. Because discord has not implemented permissions for who is allowed to mention certain roles, the WPF believes these sort of roles should only be pinged by admin staff when necessary to bring something to the attention of all those with the role(s). Anyone else who decides to @ any such role without the permission of the mod staff or myself mentioned above will receive a one strike warning, a second strike mute, and a third strike ban from the WPF family. We treat pings with general importance because if people learn to pay the pings no attention, information isnt disseminated appropriately, and operations start to not work like they should.
  8. 6. There is a fine line between talking critically of someone, their performance, or of their character, and being slanderous. There are no banned words in the WPF, and there are very few blanket conduct rules with how to treat each other: When someone tells you to quit treating them a certain way, you quit treating them that way. When someone asks you to stop what you're doing because it is affecting them negatively, you stop the action that affects them negatively. These instances may include (but are not limited to) assaulting their character, being flagrantly aggressive towards someone, verbally abusive about their game play. We are all here to learn and have fun playing Pokemon, no one should be made to feel like less of a human because of their performance in an online game. Similarly, no one should feel less of a human because of their beliefs. All discussions of "sensitive" topics should be respectful of all view points.
  9. 7. We have a lot of channels here in the WPF. This is because I want to bring the most comprehensive Pokemon Draft League experience to Discord that I possibly can. I ask that if a channel has a designated purpose, utilize that channel for its intended purpose so that, organizationally, people are able to find the information they're looking for as quickly as possible.
  10. <#565286919634681873> should be utilized for mock battles. Spoiler chats should be utilized for post-match discussion. Etc.
  11. 8. The <#541733369424248842> server exists to house __ALL__ external server invites, league applications, and all social media plugs. This has to be centralized to ensure people have one consolidated place to find this sort of information. The one exception is the WPF YouTube category as that houses all the internal social media we have going on here in the WPF.
  12. 9. NSFW images/videos and any links to external NSFW content is forbidden within the WPF. This is not the place to look for that brand of content, and there are plenty of places online where you can find them.
  13. 10. All discord company policies, guidelines, and operating standards remain in effect and will be enforced by myself and the WPF mod team.
