- Born on October 7, 1999 in Daegu to Korean parents, Kwon Jinwoo (dad, 45, psychologist) and Kwon Areum (mom, 44, owns a cafe). Jiyeon is the second child in their family with one older brother named Kwon Jihun (19, model). She was born and lived in Daegu. In elementary, Jiyeon was class president, and in middle school, she became vice president. She was a cheerleader for three years and was also captain. Since she was a fangirl, she already likes to dance and sing but only put that as hobbies. She was scouted by [A&RL] Ent when she was shopping on a department store with her mother. Then, she entered the audition and passed it at the age of 17 (korean age). Then she lived in Seoul because of her training and is currently studying at School of Performing Arts Seoul.
