  1. Saria was walked into the throne room, her hands tied behind her back. Despite how it looked, Saria had not been captured. Ever since various Convergers took over Saria had been fighting against their rule but now things were becoming too heated. Saria managed to greatly anger all but the one ruler she was standing before. Saria wasn't scared to die but what they had planned for her was worse. So she came to her former enemy, the one ruler who actually mellowed out a bit once they took over, Jenny Mercier. Saria never fought against her due to the others being worse but now she had to come to her for protection.
  2.
  3. Jenny was lounging on her throne, watching as who used to be her former enemy walked in. She kept her usual smirk as Saria now stood before her, tied up. She had always desired to capture her but was actually suspicious when she simply surrendered immediately once her soldiers caught sight of her. Jenny figured it had to do with the rumors that she had bitten off more than she could chew when dealing with the other rules. "Saria, so good to see you. Tell me, what brings you into my domain, hmm? It was quite a surprise you'd come to visit, considering our history."
  4.
  5. Saria sighed, she hated seeing that smirk on Jenny's face but it was far too late to back out now. "I'm here to ask for asylum." Saria claimed. "I need protection from the other rulers and in exchange...I'm willing to give myself up to you." She hated having to do this, knowing what Jenny was like but as bad as the life with her could be, she heard rumors about how much worse the other options could be.
  6.
  7. Jenny simply kept the smirk up. It was exactly what she thought it was, that Saria had gotten into big trouble with the others. As of now, most Convergers have simply accepted the status quo, with only a few of them still fighting back due to being utterly stubborn to give up. It brought her to mind an example, being the Older Delgado and Cassandra. The former being hated by even other Convergers now simply because due to propaganda and the mentioned stubbornness and inability to give up. Jenny shook her head, deciding to focus on what's in here now.
  8.
  9. "Protection, you say? So where you the one involved with the assassination on Cassandra's CFO? Or was it you destroying Erina's operations on four planets simultaneously that did it?" Jenny said, also mentioning a few other incidents with other rulers. She didn't know if Saria was involved in any of them. But she would still mention them to make a point. "...and that said, after all of our conflicts, why should I accept? I could easily give you to one of them and gain an advantage for my domains in exchange." She said, wanting to make Saria sweat a bit.
  10.
  11. "A-Actually I caused the break out in Ignis' prisons." Saria corrected. She didn't have a hand in either of the incidents that Jenny brought up and honestly Saria spent most of her time against Ignis as he proved to be one of the evilest rulers. He apparently used favors to get Cassandra and Erina to help him since he hated her due to her friendship with Audrey.
  12.
  13. "You could but it is Ignis." Saria didn't know exactly what Jenny's relation was with Ignis but from what she heard it wasn't good. His relations with all the others wasn't good and the main reason they even talked to him was old favors that he held over their heads. "A-And I'm willing to give myself to you."
  14.
  15. "Point. but still, giving you to him would mean he'd finally stop calling in old favors on me." Jenny replied. Still, it confirmed to her that Saria was serious about seeking asylum with her. The question is, if it was because it was a trap or if she really does want protection from the other rulers. "But if you insist on seeking my protection then prove it." With a snap of her fingers, she had Saria untied and her sword returned to her. Then her guards left the throne room, essentially leaving Jenny defenseless, alone with Saria, just the two of them. "Now, give me your sword." It was essentially a test, to see how serious she was about offering herself to her.
  16.
  17. The sudden test Jenny was giving her stunned Saria. There was no way that Saria could actually harm her in this room. Still to give up her sword hurt Saria more than anything. It was the only thing left from the old days and the one thing she could count on. But as much as it hurt, the things Ignis would do to her, scared her so much more. Keeping her eyes tightly shut, Saria took her blade and tossed it to Jenny.
  18.
  19. Now, Jenny knew Saria from her constant conflicts with her. She knew that the swordswoman treated her sword as even more important than her life. She also knew that Saria also knew when to retreat or give up an unwinnable situation, and that she wasn't stupid. Jenny knew the swordswoman was well aware she wasn't as unguarded as she made it seem. it was inevitable for her to simply give up. And yet, jenny wouldn't lie to herself, she was still surprised Saria just simply complied, without a defiant stare, nor complaint or such. So she bent over to pick up the sword and kept it behind the throne. Just being near the blade made her feel apprehensive, a product of its unique nature in negation. "Looks like you were speaking the truth. I accept your request for asylum. But I have conditions."
  20.
  21. While Jenny might have expected a last bit of defiance, Saria just felt defeated. She was so trapped that she had to run to an old enemy for safety and giving up her sword was the last straw for her. Still Jenny was known for keeping her word so now Saria was finally safe from Ignis. The conditions though weren't a surprise. "What conditions?" Saria asked. She had a good idea of what Jenny wanted but she didn't know how specific she would be with it.
  22.
  23. "You're not aware of the hierarchy involved with those I choose for my personal harem. So let me enlighten you." Jenny started. Sitting back down, she looked at the newest addition. "There are three levels in my harem. The highest are the slaves. The name says it all, but I make sure they have rights and treat them well. They live well and are loyal to me. Below that are pets, they still have some rights but must behave as pets actually should. If they're not animal girls, I provide them with the appropriate items to make them my pets. Now the lowest level, are toys. Which is where you will be starting. Toys have no names, no individuality, they only refer to themselves as toys. But I let them take care of themselves, when I'm not around. When I am, I expect absolute obedience. But I will not give an order that will cause my toys harm."
  24.
  25. Jenny finally stopped her explanation to take a breath. "Yes, I know of Erina's tendencies with her 'toys', but this is different." She addressed the issue. Even if Saria knew the difference, it wasn't the first time she had to set the record straight due to Erina calling her own love slaves toys as a result.
  26.
  27. Saria winced as she listened to Jenny explain how her harem works. It was not what she had been expecting from Jenny so a part of her was regretting making the decision. Though when she remembered what Ignis does, that part of her quickly disappeared. Still it didn't mean she was happy being reduced to a toy or even a pet. But Saria was still a fighter so she wasn't going to give up on things that easily. "I understand but how does one move up the hierarchy?"
  28.
  29. "Already you're failing. Toys have no identity." Jenny pointed out. "But I'll let that slide this time and answer. It's simply a matter of obedience, diligence and dedication. As long as you accept your role and continue on it with as little mistakes as possible, you'll be able to move up the hierarchy. I'm not telling you how, just to make sure you have the motivation to do your role without any shortcuts. You'd be surprised how ambitious even those who accept my rule can be. I had to discipline some slaves, pets and toys in the past. So don't make that mistake. I know you know your place now, but it still needs to be said. Clear?" She finished, a smile on her face. And yet, the atmosphere and choice of words made clear what she meant.
  30.
  31. Saria winced again. She didn't realize that Jenny already expected her to act correctly. She really didn't want to spend too long acting as a toy as even being a pet would be better. Thankfully Jenny seemed to let it slide but it wasn't going to be easy for Saria. Even as Jenny smiled, Saria looked down at the ground before finally replying. "Yes I-...y-your toy understands."
  32.
  33. Jenny nodded approvingly. "Good. At least you're learning. Oh, one thing I forgot to mention. When moving up the hierarchy, I do give a few days free for the role switch to take place, just to give those ascending the time to be able to get out of their previous mentality and embrace the new one. Not so if you actually get a demotion. You're expected to be in your new role when demoted immediately. Now, my toy, I want you to strip and place your clothes over there. Even your underwear." She pointed at a spot in the throne room.
  34.
  35. This, Saria had been expecting before she even entered the room. She put the note that she could be demoted as well away for later before slowly starting to take off her clothes. She was still hesitant and embarrassed about stripping in front of someone, especially Jenny but Saria was glad that the ruler made sure that it was only the two of them in the room. Saria knew it the future that wouldn't be the case but at least for now, only Jenny could see her naked body now that her clothes were placed in the spot Jenny pointed out.
  36.
  37. Jenny took the chance to admire Saria's body, especially after she finished stripping. Smirking, she gave the swordswoman an approving nod, enjoying the view. After a short while, she took out a box of matches, lit one up then threw it at the pile of clothes she told Saria to place it. The pile light up in flames as Jenny placed the box of matches away. "Toys don't own anything. So you won't need them. You'll dress up in whatever I provide for you." She said, already guessing those were the only clothes Saria had.
