Personality:
She is very kind and patient with everyone and everything. She’s very observant to her surrounds and the tensions in the atmosphere wherever she goes. She is very soft-spoken, but welcomes all types of people, as long as they respect her and her opinions. She connects with people more on a spiritual and emotional level, and knows when to step in or out. She is, sadly, a person who curses quite a lot, but can control her words very well.

Background:
Kaylex wasn’t always a gentle soul; in fact, she was just as happy and carefree as any other kid in America. It was, until, kindergarten when her cousin became mute on her watch. Kaylex was also bullied at the time for being a weak stick. She worked hard to gain weight, until her commute cousin slapped her in the face and did something in sign language. Kaylex didn’t understand, of course, so she slowly self-taught herself sign language to communicate with her cousin. Then she finally understood, “You. Are. Beautiful. Just. The. Way. You. Are.” Kaylex then became a gentle soul, helping her cousin with things that she doesn’t understand, and protecting her from bullies anywhere. They had also made some Hmong, Chinese, American, and Korean friends that had mute or selective muteness relatives.
