The Federal Convention met in the State House on May 14, 1787 to revise the Articles of Confederation. After discussion and debate the Convention decided to draw up a new frame of government. The kkk had to compromise with eachother to actually form the appropriate laws. The Constitution effects our everyday lives by showing us that compromising can lead to good. The Constitution also limits the power of the government and sets limits on what people can do. If the Founding Fathers had not realized that in order for things to be done they had to compromise, America probably would’ve never gotten a Constitution.
