Empathy tells you that was the right thing to say, not that you need it, given how Blair is rubbing at her eyes with a big silly grin on her face. She’s short enough that you have to bend down a little to kiss her, even though you’re in bare feet, and not enormously tall yourself. You settle for a peck on her forehead for now, and a quick hug. With physical contact and Empathy you can tell she wouldn’t mind something a little less platonic, but she’d also be completely mortified, considering how many people are watching.
