  1. Well, it started off where it occasionly didn't boot properly. At the "starting windows" screen, if the logo didn't start to show up, the computer would just restart and go to the "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media and press a key" screen after a few seconds. After a few tries of turning the computer on, it eventually fixes and the logo shows up and boots as normal. This happened occasionly.

  3. But now, the windows logo will always show up on the "starting windows" screen, but will be stuck on that screen for a few minutes and then restart with the same "reboot and select..." screen. When I turn my computer on again, it always asks me to "start windows normally" (which does the same thing), and "launch startup repair" which will go to the "windows is loading files" screen, followed by a loading bar, and then a black screen and then nothing happens.

  5. I've tried going to the boot menu and running safe mode, which will scroll through a bunch of drivers and then freeze, lead by a restart after a few minutes and the "reboot and select" screen. I've also tried "last known good configuration" which has the same effect as "start windows normally".

  7. So now I want to format the hard drive and re-install windows. But, when I reach the "where would you like to install windows?" screen (http://www.techtalkz.com/gallery/files/1/Windows7-2008-11-04-14-55-06.jpg), there is nothing listed.
