- [nextcol]Hey there, my name is IPodPulse and I welcome you to my [[Yasuo]] guide. I am a huge [[Yasuo]] fan, I love everything about him, his model, his abilities, his story, his everything! The idea of a dishonored samurai interested me greatly, I remember the first day I bought him and was so excited to play him, I hopped into a normals game and locked in [[Yasuo]] awaiting for what would happen. I sucked, and continued to suck for countless games, I didn't care though, this champion was so cool and unique and awesome that nothing mattered.
- I stopped though, eventually I realized that I wasn't that good and thought I couldn't improve, I moved on to different champions hoping to fill that void that I hoped [[Yasuo]] could fill, yet nothing. About a year ago I decided I would try to relearn [[Yasuo]]. I aimed to improve, not to win. Which I did. Over the year I have spent countless hours and days aiming at mastering this champion. While I have not mastered him yet, I have learned plenty of skills and knowledge worth sharing. Without any further delay, let's talk about [[Yasuo]]!
- [[Yasuo]] is a AD Mid lane fighter, his unique kit allows him to create fights from the most unique and creative situations and allow him to turn it into his favor. He is a difficult champion, he really is. You need to know how to analyze a situation, think of multiple ways to play it out and choose from those options the most likely to succeed. This takes practice, lots and lots of practice, but you can do it. I aim to teach you how to learn [[Yasuo]], the commitment you put into him however is what will allow you succeed at him.[/columns]

- [color=green]+[/color] Lots of Mobility
- [color=green]+[/color] Deals great amounts of damage
- [color=green]+[/color] Passive requires you to build only 50% crit
- [color=green]+[/color] Block Projectiles with [[wind wall]]
- [color=green]+[/color] Gains 50% bonus armor penetration after ult
- [color=green]+[/color] Knock ups aren't affected by tenacity
- [color=green]+[/color] Incredibly fun to play

- [nextcol]Yasuo is a versatile and mobile fighter, with abilities like [[wind wall]] and [[sweeping blade]] [[Yasuo]] is able to outplay his opponent while looking good. His constant mobility and solid damage and his shield from his passive makes him a great lane bully that many champions have trouble playing against. What makes [[Yasuo]] unique however is his passive, [[way of the wanderer]]. This passive allows him to only build half as much critical strike chance in order to obtain 100% critical strike chance. This gives many different ways to build [[yasuo]] which we can decide based on the enemy team and how the game is going. It's also important to know that [[Yasuo]] excels at shredding tanks, allowing him to make an appearance top lane.[/columns]

- [nextcol width=200][color=red]-[/color] Difficult champion
- [color=red]-[/color] CC locks make life hard
- [color=red]-[/color] Heavily prioritized
- [color=red]-[/color] Easy to makes mistakes
- [color=red]-[/color] Extremely hard to come back when behind
- [color=red]-[/color] You must know when and where to use ult
- [color=red]-[/color] He has a lot of bugs
- [nextcol width=20]
- [nextcol]With pros comes cons, here are [[yasuo]]'s. I've said it before and I will always say it, [[yasuo]] is difficult. He requires tons of practice to even get decent at him, you have to be able to predict skill shots, you must position yourself in ways that won't make you die, you must know when and where to fight. These are things that you learn through practice, so don't be surprised if you fail. There is also another problem, you are [[yasuo]]. You are hated by everyone, especially if you are good, people get salty when they lose, and with salt comes hate, hate that will unfortunately be used against you, so be prepared for visits from the jungler, or from top, or from any lane. The final thing I will talk about is how easy it is to make mistakes on [[Yasuo]], but that is something that you learn as you play [[yasuo]] and there isn't much I can talk about because each game is unique. I will elaborate on what I can talk about in the [goto=Laning Phase]Laning Phase and Post Laning Phase chapter[/goto].[/columns]

- Option 1 for mastery pages and the most common one you will see today, and that is because of [[thunderlord's decree]]. It's such a strong mastery and works with [[Yasuo]] extremely well, the added burst is huge and allows you to win trades like never before. Ever since the [[statikk shiv]] nerfs [[Yasuo]] has been lacking that burst he used to have, and [[thunderlord's decree]] gives it back, and it's better than ever. We also take 12 points into the Resolve tree, the extra survivability is provides is very useful for [[Yasuo]] and allows him to stay in lane longer.

- Option 2 for mastery pages is the original mastery page we saw [[Yasuo]] use back when preseason started. While not as strong as Option 1 it is still very good, especially if you plan on going the [[statikk shiv]] and [[infinity edge]] route. The healing received is very useful when dueling, fighting a poke oriented champion in lane or if you want some early sustain. The added attack speed is quite nice as well, allowing more DPS and shorter cooldown and cast time on Q. If you are not a fan of [[thunderlord's decree]] I would recommend trying this mastery page out.
