❥background: Seojin grew up as the youngest in a fairly well-off family and was even in clearly good terms with them. However, her parents are complete workaholics and more often than not usually goes for hands-off parenting and generally lets their children to have as much freedom as possible. Her older brother was a large influence in her life and was pretty much the reason she's the unapologetic troublemaker she is today. She helped him hide his report card when she was eight, joined him vandalize his ex's house when she was eleven, hosted a party without permission and drank alcohol in their house with him when she was fourteen, and even partied and drove around with him and his college friends when she was sixteen. When on her own, she's not the one who would start trouble, but she'd be the first one to join if there is. However, she's known in winning fights and cuts classes if she feels like it, despite the fact that she is pretty smart if she tries. She's actually friends with some other shady people who are the real deal in terms of trouble, but knows enough to keep some distance. She was rarely caught, but at the latest incident when she was and her parents were called, she tried at least get a decent grade to make it up for them.

❥personality: Seojin is pretty much that kid in your school whom your parents tell you not to hang around with. She's rude, aggressive in everything she does, and isn't afraid to say what's on her mind whomever she was talking to. She doesn't care about rules, but she always make sure to never be caught. She's insensitive, assertive, dominant and seems to always find a way to make fun of someone, and often finds every situation as an opportunity to make a joke about, no matter how inappropriate. Especially the inappropriate ones. She has a comeback for everything and will not stop until she wins. You cannot beat her with words, and she dares you to beat her with physical violence. She's easily annoyed and when someone does or says something she doesn't like, her automatic response would be to stare at the person with a deadpan expression and ask "You wanna get beaten / die?" with a dull voice, maybe grabbing them in the collar or pushing them against the wall if they pushed a big no-no button. But if someone does something that seriously angers her, Seojin wouldn't even give a warning, she would just walk up to that person and punch them. Because of her rough and brusque attitude, people often forget that she's still a girl. She's lazy but also street-smart. She can be clever and charming if she wants to, and is pretty confident about herself. She's pretty, fairly athletic, and can get good grades if she puts her mind into it, and she knows it. Seojin does whatever she wants, whenever she wants. She can be dangerously competitive and actually knows how to work hard if she really wants something. However, despite having a complete list of insults and nicknames for both friends and enemies and even strangers, once you earn her trust, she's very loyal and will fight for you in the front lines herself. Oh she will still tease you, it's her display of affection, but she will never forget to show that she does care for you. She's actually a very family-oriented person and actually feels guilty if her parents are seriously disappointed with her. She can be painfully awkward and embarrassed when she actually tries to be outwardly nice or show genuine affection, but she's sincere, even if she tries to deny it later and that no, she has no idea what you're talking about, she's dead inside, thank you very much.

• Commoners - Seojin generally likes hanging out with them in school. She likes having some witty banter with the feisty ones and enjoy their company, and likes teasing the nicer ones and think that they're really cute. She might even consider some of them to be her moral compass. Of course, she wouldn't be surprised if they feel the same way.
• Princes - She is generally annoyed with them and thinks that they can only get away with and achieve so many things just because of their parents' money. They are probably low key intimidated by her, and she has an urge to trick them or put them in a situation where they are helpless and can't depend on their parents' money or something.

• Archie - She has a soft spot for her and knows she has crossed a line if even she firmly disapproves

❥his personality: As said, he's overly studious and a completely straight-edged person. He always works hard and a complete workaholic who doesn't know how to stop once he starts and doesn't really have a life outside. He's an academic overachiever and a perfectionist. However, despite seemingly to be not fun and reserved, he has a sharp tongue and actually wouldn't stop talking until he is sure he has made his point. He gives his all in everything he does and is very competitive. When outside his comfort zone, he gets shy and anxious. He's always tense and awkward at showing his emotions, but he's actually more impulsive than he himself thinks, and if you managed to break him out of his cold hard shell, he might actually be open to anything and surprise everyone, even himself.
❥how you met: A big test was coming up and it seemed important enough that Seojin decided to go to the library to go study. She ended up sitting on the same table he usually uses so he was surprised when he arrives to see someone like her studying in his table. He tried to get rid of her and even mocked her that studying is useless with "someone like her." Seojin was offended and thought that he thinks she wouldn't make it because she was a "commoner", when he meant it as a "lazy troublemaker." They traded insults and barbed remarks, and she decided that it's not fun anymore and left, but not before promising to prove him wrong and pettily making his books fall to the ground.
❥your relationship: Both have already heard of each other before, but above was their first official meeting. Before that, they only had hostile indifference towards each other, as both are just polar opposites. However, after their first meeting, they kept a haughty eye on each other, one waiting for her to fall, the other waiting to take him down. There wasn't much any difference until the test scores were announced and to his shock, Seojin scored almost or as high as him. To him, it was an embarrassment of being wrong, and somehow he started challenging her to prove herself again, but Seojin was satisfied with it being a one-time thing, and wasn't interested and continues slacking off. It slowly delves into a one-sided rivalry, with him keeping to push her to be serious and Seojin being annoyed by yet also starting to get used to him. He didn't understand why she works too less, while she didn't understand why he works too much. They kept verbally fighting to defend their beliefs. Determined to finish what he started, he kept trying to get her to study seriously, while Seojin decided to even it by trying to get him to loosen up. He becomes a good influence to her, while she becomes a bad influence to him, and it's questionable whether both are a good or bad thing. They actually start getting too comfortable with each other and tell each other things about themselves. They remained bickering with each other, but it's obvious that what was once vitriolic turned to something more affectionate. They seem to don't know how to show that they started to care for each other except by arguing, or else it'll be too awkward for them to handle.
❥interactions: Both are not used to showing affection so they mostly bicker with one another like an old married couple. He complains that she's too lazy, while she complains that he's too hardworking. Seojin mostly does whatever she wants, but actually listens to him if he decided that he wants to do something. They often try to get one another to see each other's perspectives, and they try to understand the other. Studying and relaxing, the rich lifestyle to the fairly normal. When there are no sarcasm-laced conversations, the rare awkward moments of affection are pretty sweet, although both would end up being too embarrassed, he'd be quiet while she'd be loud and Seojin would hastily assert her dominance while he'd easily surrender.
❥first impressions: Seojin at first thought of him as just another haughty and spoiled rich kid who gets everything he wants just because of his family's money, someone she both wants to stay away from and also mess with. He, on the other hand, while also blames her attitude to that of being a commoner, was more focused on the fact that she's probably a good-for-nothing student who won't get at least anywhere in life with the way she is with her own studies and wanted her to stay out of his way.
