- Hey
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- Yo
- How old are you
- How many dreams do you usually remember per week? This last week?
- How many dreams have you had since you started trying to LD ?
- How long you been trying to LD?
- Have you had any success? Please explain.
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- Im 15 years old right now, turning 16 this year.
- I remember from 1 to 3/4 dreams every day with some exceptions of none when I sleep really bad. So that would be different every week.
- Last week I had 12 in total.
- Ive had 31 dreams (most non-LD) since I started my digital DJ which is a couple days after I started.
- Ive been trying to LD for about a month now.
- Ive had some success yeah, first of all I notice drastic changes in dream recall. From about 3 dreams a week now to almost 2 a day.
- In LD wise too, from 1 accidental LD every 3 years to now 2 this month.
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- Okay, how long do your dreams seem?
- How long are your LDs?
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- Well the length differs aswell, from 2 minutes to maybe an hour.
- The 2 LDs lasted around 10 mins and 15 mins.(gewijzigd)
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- Okay. So why do you think you need help?
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- Id like to become omni one day
- And make them last a little longer
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- So why do you think you need help?
- That is your goal, why would you need help for it?
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- Because I dont know how exactly to achieve it, I need a guidance to put me on the right path and a relyable information source.
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- Is English your first language?
- How fast do you read?
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- English isnt my native language but Ive gotten around to read it pretty fluently yeah
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- Gotcha. I can send you some things, but I kinda wonder how long it would take ya to read them.
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- Okay :p
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- But I need more info.
- Have you read any of my threads?(gewijzigd)
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- No, sorry
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- NP.
- You seem to know hormoz, has he been helping you?
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- I wouldnt call it "helping"
- Ive learned some things from skipper tho
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- Haha.
- hormoz will question any thoughts to see if he can force creativity or force you to think of the bigger picture.
- It isnt very helpful for most, but I find it helpful to have convos with him.
- Skipper, lol.
- He is very interesting and new. If his way works for you, then you can just do that, if it doesnt, then it probably never will.
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- Yeah, Its not working to well
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- It doesnt work extremely well for him either, haha. But dont tell him that.
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- xD
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- So what do you do for recall? And what have you done for LDing.
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- Ive been doing Rcs and keeping a DJ(gewijzigd)
- Rcs has paid of today I guess but it wasnt an ordinary Rc, I was thinking about what I was going to do when Im in an LD and realised I was in one
- The Other LD I just knew I was in a dream for some reason, I just felt it or something
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- What does your RC consist of?
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- Well, I just stop for a moment and think wether Im actually in a dream or not(gewijzigd)
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- Gotcha.
- Well, I would recommend this thread:
- When I First Started Lucid Dreaming, I Wish Someone Would Have Tol...
- The audio is here. This is an audio about things that I wish people would have told me when I first started LDing. The audio explains it all. Let me
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- Okay Ill read it right away :p
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- Sorry. It is a podcast.
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- Yeah I see
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- Lemme know when you are done
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- Yup
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- Aight, its done
- With the thing that its hard, what do you mean by that. I get that its hard to constantly do something every day but what is it that you have to do
- Also, did you ever write a thread about dream control?
- Because I mightve read that one(gewijzigd)
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- I have written like 3 threads on dream control. :P
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- Yeah I think I read one(gewijzigd)
- In one of them you were talking about perspectif to with setting the field on fire by holding your hand over it, I did something similar. When changing the scenerie instead of closing my eyes I held my hand and covered a part of my right vision and imagined what there would be.
- And it worked pretty well
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- The hard part is to do something every day. For me, right now, all I need to do is pay some attention to dreams right before bed and then sleep some at night. Everyone has some sort of demon they have to fight, even when all is said and done. Mine is actually sleeping at night. Others seem to lack any ability, others seem to lose drive, others lose motivation. There is a limiting factor for all
- Nice. Perspective is key. Dreams are a false perception. Change your perception, you can change your dreams.
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- I also did something else, when I was young I used to make these gestures and such to act like if I had some abilities, and when doing that in the dreams they also seemed to work
- Like with telekenis and filling a glass from bottom to top without actually pouring anything in
- Im having some trouble with sleeping too lately, like Im not as tired at 1am anymore and its gettign harder for me to keep my eyes closed
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- What do you mean by "with telekinesis" ? That sounds like a different power.
- I used yo do the same when I was younger, but by younger, I mean at your age. I did it with the idea that "if I think a certain way in dreams, I will think it in dreams and be able to do it" so I went around using telekinesis in my head all day and got it in my dreams. Then I did it with fire and then with anime powers. When I started LDing, those abilities were easy and natural since I had already done them.
- Those that lucid dream seem to be or become light sleepers, those that aren't light sleepers seem to struggle to lucid dream or they become light sleepers.
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- Well, with the telekenesis I still make like gestures and such to make them happen, I then just think what I actually want the objects to do and it worked
- I broke a glass and made the pieces come together in the air and melt back to a glass
- I read a thread about telekenesis when I was younger and then I started "practising" for a while
- from there
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- Nice.
- Well, you have had two lucid dreams, so you know what you need to do to become lucid in one way, so now that you can lucid dream, you must continue along the path. Dont change course looking through others paths. You can learn from them and avoid pitfalls in your own path, but you cannot go down another's path.
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- I dont know what I did to get the lucid dreams tbh
- I guess Ill just keep doing what Im doing
- Only thing I remember is that the waking up around 5am when I sleep at like midnight is doing something
- Ive had a couple times that I got a really big dream and today an LD by doing so
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- Well, if you dont know what is working, then review. What was the day like before? What was the night like during? Is there any difference between that night and this?
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- I get the dream after I go back to sleep
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- Waking up and going back to sleep is a strong tech.
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- Not sure about the first LD
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- It doesnt work alone, but I recommend doing 4 or 5 a night if you can.
- During them, ponder dreams, visualize dreams.
- If it works to bring recall, it can work to get you lucid.
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- I see
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- If you think about LDing like basketball, then every time you fall asleep, you shoot. The more times you can shoot, the more practice.
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- I see it as a sort of challenge
- Every night I face it again(gewijzigd)
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- Obviously everyone has different limits and all, but I really recommend doing a lot of wbtbs. Others claim they can't get back to sleep if they wbtb, but if they tried it enough, they would find a way.
- Yep. It is another shot.
- Keep shooting.
- Taking 5 shots a night is much more than 5 times as effective as taking one shot a night.
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- During wbtb its quite easy for me to get back to sleep since Im already drowsy so that could work out
- Getting to sleep in the first place can sometimes be a struggle tho
- Sensei - 10-04-2018
- Same here.
- Going back to sleep is never a problem.
- It is the initial beast that I have to fight. I seemed to have conquered it quite well, but now these allergies are making it a new challenging and annoying level
- Doctor_Foxy - 10-04-2018
- Hmm
- 11 april 2018
- Doctor_Foxy - 11-04-2018
- Semeone said that you got tortured by DCs in an LD for a week once, was that what you meant by that lucid nightmares are so horrible?
- 12 april 2018
- Sensei - 12-04-2018
- Haha, nah, that wasnt lucid till the end.
- Doctor_Foxy - 12-04-2018
- I just got another lucid!
- Thats 3 in a month and 2 in a week
- My dream control was very limited tho so I might look at your threads about it again
- It lasted quite long so thats good(gewijzigd)
- Sensei - 12-04-2018
- Nice.
- Doctor_Foxy - 12-04-2018
- It was again after going back to sleep at 5am(gewijzigd)
- And also, would you mind telling me about your scariest dream? Id like to know what Im up against if I get a really bad one.
- Sensei - 12-04-2018
- Haha. Probably the one where I had multiple false awakenings when trying to get away from a evil feeling presence. As soon as I realized it was a dream, my sight would go out and then I would be thrown against the walls and ceiling and I couldn't call on any dream control. Arms and legs breaking and then I would force myself to wake up. Finally in my bed I would realize that something was wrong with my room, realize it was a dream and then my sight would go out. Slam into the ceiling breaking my neck and shoulders, slammed against the corner of the bed where I can feel my arm snap. I would force myself awake... And so on and so forth. By the end, when I woke I was crying and hugging my wife, saying goodbye to her, because I feel like my mind wouldnt last if it kept up. Then I would realize that my wife wasn't waking and it must be a dream. Sight leaves.
- It went on for a long time.
- Doctor_Foxy - 12-04-2018
- Thats intense
- Sensei - 12-04-2018
- It was a while ago
- It isnt the worst I have heard of.
- When you lose control and start running, you gotta stop and face it. Attention like fear and worry give it power. Not in like a mystical way. But attention is kind of what dreams made of. Attention, perception, connections. If you keep running from something, it will keep chasing you.
- Doctor_Foxy - 12-04-2018
- Ive had that
- A typical nightmare of mine
- Is that Im alone upstairs and I go to the bathroom
- Before I enter the bathroom I see my mom standing in her room stiff like a statue
- Then she starts screaming and running at me so I run into the bathroom because it has a lock(gewijzigd)
- Last time I had this
- I faced it
- She was to quick and I didnt lock the door
- I started fighting it with my mind and for a few seconds it seemed to work
- Then I lost concentration and started screaming so mom and dad would come upstairs
- Wake up
- Sensei - 12-04-2018
- I think that awareness in dreams can bring nightmares. Usually they happen when we notice something is wrong, nightmare or lucid dream can commence from there. I think it is funny that people talk about wanting LDs, but dont want to wake up during the night. If you are present, you will notice the waking. Just like you notice it after a nightmare.
- Doctor_Foxy - 12-04-2018
- I never noticed something was wrong
- I just used to be extremely paranoid upstairs
- And that has passed on in my dreams(gewijzigd)
- Sensei - 12-04-2018
- Why you paranoid about it?
- Doctor_Foxy - 12-04-2018
- I always thought there was something there just that sensation
- Doctor_Foxy - 12-04-2018
- The sensation you would have when somethings about to happen and you know it
- Its probs just me making stuff up
- Sensei - 12-04-2018
- Nah, it makes sense. Kinda like a sensation that something is gonna happen good or something is gonna happen bad.
- Fortnite servers are down. :(
- Doctor_Foxy - 12-04-2018
- xD
- The sensation is way more to the bad side
- I dont even know anymore which of the memories of me being up there are real
- I remember running down the stairs feeling something is chasing me
- Sensei - 12-04-2018
- Haha. That can be hard. Try to dream of new places. Destroy the old.
- Doctor_Foxy - 12-04-2018
- Yeah thats why I dont feel like doing APs since you wake up in your room and the second I go out of my room I see my parents one
- I never go to my house in dreams anyway
- Sensei - 12-04-2018
- Its almost like a dream. Or exactly like a dream. Have yet to hear a difference really.
- Doctor_Foxy - 12-04-2018
- Yeah but they all seem to wake up where they went to sleep
- Sensei - 12-04-2018
- Yeah, FAs are really common when you have an inkling that you are actually laying down and going to sleep. If you ask me, it is a step down from LD. It is losing that bit of awareness that knows that dreams arent real and waking is real. Instead it says "this is real just like waking" which is the same thing you think in a non lucid dream.
- I might not say "isnt real" since they are "real dreams" but there is a difference between the two
- Doctor_Foxy - 12-04-2018
- Hmm
- Another thing, I tried to use telekenesis like last time but it didnt work this time
- Any explanation for that?
- Sensei - 12-04-2018
- Sometimes things dont work in dreams.
- You can quote me on that. :P
- But really, sometimes if a dream feels too real or you feel like you aren't in good control, it can be difficult to do your normal dream control. Slow down, gather yourself use creativity to change yourself and figure out how to proceed
- I can't use TK. I need to calm down. Still can't use it. I just need to push the TK button. Still can't use it. I need to take a TK pill. Still can't use it. Must be this lamp. Breaks lamp. It works. Yatta!
- Doctor_Foxy - 12-04-2018
- I might try that next time
- For how complex it is how can the mind be tricked so easily
- Sensei - 12-04-2018
- Because it is a tool, you are not deceiving it and it isnt deceived by the dreams. You are. And dreams are a deception of your perceptions, so if you know what is happening, you can become in charge of your perceptions.
- There is also the fact that most people aren't lucid in waking any more than they are in dreams.

- Doctor_Foxy - 13-04-2018
- That trap tho
- 14 april 2018
- Sensei - 14-04-2018
- Ive been working hard at getting trap kills.
- Lol
- Doctor_Foxy - 14-04-2018
- My dream recall hasnt been so good last 2 nights, should I be worried. I mean I know Ive had a big dream and I remember 1 fragment out of it but thats it.
- Sensei - 14-04-2018
- What are you doing for recall?
- Doctor_Foxy - 14-04-2018
- Wbtb and dream journal
- I only wake up once tho for wbtb
- Sensei - 14-04-2018
- What is your DJ like?
- Doctor_Foxy - 14-04-2018
- On my phone
- And then try to write down as much as I can
- Sensei - 14-04-2018
- https://www.dreamviews.com/dream-signs-recall/140958-how-effectively-dream-journal.html
- This is kind of an idea of how to make your DJ more effective.
- How to effectively Dream Journal
- Welcome. Thank you for reading my tutorial for journaling your dreams. This method is to show a way to get the most possible out of your dream journal.
- Doctor_Foxy - 14-04-2018
- Ill have alook at it ;p
- lmao
- Sensei - 14-04-2018
- Haha.
- Doctor_Foxy - 14-04-2018
- Sensei, what do you think about tulpas and such
- 15 april 2018
- Sensei - 15-04-2018
- I think tulpas are the same as DCs. They are basically either a projection of an idea of a human, or a mask that one wears.
- Doctor_Foxy - 15-04-2018
- I remembered 4 short dreams today so I think recall is still okay
- 20 april 2018
- Sensei - 20-04-2018
- Hey, you are learning Japanese. Why?
- Doctor_Foxy - 20-04-2018
- Dk why really, I just felt like trying
- Sensei - 20-04-2018
- Lol. What languages do you know?
- Doctor_Foxy - 20-04-2018
- Dutch, English, German and French
- Although I dont like learning Germand and French
- Sensei - 20-04-2018
- Gotcha. Which is your first language?
- Doctor_Foxy - 20-04-2018
- Dutch
- Hey I have a problem rn
- ;p
- Sensei - 20-04-2018
- Sup.
- Doctor_Foxy - 20-04-2018
- Im trying to sleep but I keep hearing this really low base in the background but its in my head
- And it keeps me from sleeping
- Sensei - 20-04-2018
- Hmmm... Is it tinnitus?
- Or is it only there at night?
- Doctor_Foxy - 20-04-2018
- Only at night yeah but not at first
- Normally I can just sleep and not hea rit
- But other nights when I cant sleep and struggle It comes again
- Sensei - 20-04-2018
- Hmmm... Maybe it just comes from listening to the silence? Are you ever in silent places? Your mind might be making a noise since you aren't used to no noise.
- Doctor_Foxy - 20-04-2018
- I sleep in no noise every day lol(gewijzigd)
- Other than rainy days
- Which there are quite a few in Belgium
- I have a feeling its like hearing my bloodstream or something
- Because its this quite
- Sensei - 20-04-2018
- So is it there since starting LDing?
- Doctor_Foxy - 20-04-2018
- Nah
- Its been there forever but just not every night
- Some nights when I cant sleep
- Idk if its the cause of me not sleeping or an after effect
- Sensei - 20-04-2018
- Yeah, it reminds me of how I would always think of my breathing when I was younger and couldbt sleep.
- Doctor_Foxy - 20-04-2018
- I got a really big dream after I managed to sleep so Id say it was worth it
- Even a part lucid :p
- Sensei - 20-04-2018
- Nice!
- Doctor_Foxy - 20-04-2018
- Hormoz wants to know if hes a nice person(gewijzigd)
- And I have to ask you
- Sensei - 20-04-2018
- Haha. Ask him what a nice person is in his opinion.
- He isnt mean.
- But he doesnt go out of his way to be nice.
- Doctor_Foxy - 20-04-2018
- Hormoz: "Why did he ask that?"
- Sensei - 20-04-2018
- To better understand his question.
- Unless he wants you to go by your definition of nice
- Doctor_Foxy - 20-04-2018
- seems like i got Hormoz wrong about to know if he is nice or not.
- Anyways, how do you gain lucidity in dreams?
- Sensei - 20-04-2018
- What do you mean about the first one?
- Hard to explain. I would say that it is kinda a part of me now. Think of a juggler, how does he juggle 3 balls? By tossing them in the air? It is that simple and yet that complicated.
- If I want to make sure I want a lucid dream, I do naiya simple mild 4+ micro wbtbs with one long one. During each of them I do naiya simple mild. I usually am trying more and more new techniques to see if any will be more effective or will help me, some do help a lot and are too much work. Some techs dont help at all.
- Doctor_Foxy - 20-04-2018
- Naiya?
- Sensei - 20-04-2018
- Google naiya simple mild dreamviews.
- Doctor_Foxy - 20-04-2018
- Okay :p
- Sensei - 20-04-2018
- Lmk what you think.
- Doctor_Foxy - 20-04-2018
- Well, last time I tried a mantra I just wouldnt fall asleep
- Sensei - 20-04-2018
- You dont have to fall asleep saying the mantra.
- Doctor_Foxy - 20-04-2018
- Oh
- Sensei - 20-04-2018
- You just do it, and then go to sleep the normal way.
- Doctor_Foxy - 20-04-2018
- Aight Ill try that
- Sensei - 20-04-2018
- It is good for those that can, but I have never been one that can.
- Plus, visualization is really the key to naiya. That also can be stopped right before you go to sleep.
- Doctor_Foxy - 20-04-2018
- Ah okay
- ;p
- ありばと
- Sensei - 20-04-2018
- I never know if I should correct peoples English or japanese on here. :P
- Doctor_Foxy - 20-04-2018
- I wrote it wrong?
- 23 april 2018
- Doctor_Foxy - 23-04-2018
- Oh yeah its ありばとう
- Sensei - 23-04-2018
- ありがとう
- You have "ba" instead of "ga"
- How was your night?
- Doctor_Foxy - 23-04-2018
- I tried a night without wbtb and remember 2 fragments of dreams. Had a rough time getting to sleep tho
- Sensei - 23-04-2018
- Nice, so dream recall foundation seems to be higher even without a wbtb?
- Doctor_Foxy - 23-04-2018
- Higher than before yeah
- 25 april 2018
- Doctor_Foxy - 25-04-2018
- So I had a nightmare and when I woke up somewhere in the middle from my alarm I went back to sleep and entered the same nightmare
- How could I prevent that from happening(gewijzigd)
- Sensei - 25-04-2018
- Yes! You can! I used to have this as a kid, so my mind said two things:
- If I wake from a dream and go right back to sleep, even after a minute or two, I can choose to reenter the dream, if the dream feeling is there.
- And
- If I dont want to re enter the dream, I just have to get up for a few minutes and think about something else.
- It got to a point where I could reenter a dream after being awake for a few hours if I chose to keep the feeling of the dream.
- Doctor_Foxy - 25-04-2018
- Alright, Ill try that
- Sensei - 25-04-2018
- It is all about the feeling. Recall the feeling, when he feeling has faded, you can go back to sleep. Or, make it stronger so you can reenter.
- 28 april 2018
- Doctor_Foxy - 28-04-2018
- Arlight, so I had this pretty cool dream and after it ended I had a dream that literally continued on the first one. In the middle of that I remember that I was in a dream, I still don know how but I just did it. I then said Ill play along a little longer but with being concious ofcourse because we were doing some themepark rides. I then got back in this state where I feel my actual body and it goes black. And go back in this state between awake and dream so I create a little environement in my head and bam Im there, I then change scenerie but no matter how many times I switch its amways with pologons like in video games and never super realistic. I then after a while wake u(gewijzigd)
- I dont know if this state between dream or awake was real tho
- Like it couldve been still in the dream
- Hard to tell
- Sensei - 28-04-2018
- Sounds like it was a lucid dream. Also, most dild will seem like that, you just know that you are dreaming. It comes from your practice and belief and all, but it seems spontaneous.
- Doctor_Foxy - 28-04-2018
- Aight ;p
- 7 mei 2018
- Doctor_Foxy - 07-05-2018
- How would I go about increasing my prospective memory
- Sensei - 07-05-2018
- Gooooogle. Lol. I dont do it.
- How is your recall? I feel like you need to focus on that more before convoluting your practice with something working on something else
- 8 mei 2018
- Doctor_Foxy - 08-05-2018
- Well, I stopped Djing for a bit because it got really much but yeah my dream recall has decreased a lot(gewijzigd)
- Ima just get back at Djing
- Sensei - 08-05-2018
- Good luck! Make your entries shorter rather than just quitting altogether
- Doctor_Foxy - 08-05-2018
- So, Im also trying to WILD. Im seeing some improvements but I still have a way to go. So I thought that if I tried it after I woke up during the night it would be easier because Id be drowsy. But it turns out Im so drowsy and tired that I dont even have the mental power at that time to even try
- What else could I try or improve
- Doctor_Foxy - 08-05-2018
- Turns out I understood WILD wrong Ima check some different sources

- Mzzkc's Comprehensive WILD Guide
- Hello! Welcome to my humble guide. In the paragraphs that follow, I'll be cataloging just about everything you need to know to have a successful WILD.
- Why You Fail at WILDs - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views
- In the following article I will be sharing insights I have gained over the past two years in regards to the fine art known as WILDing. Keep in mind, all of this comes from personal experience, and you should probably take it with a grain of salt,...

- I can hardly fall asleep in general. How am I suposed to while thinking of that anchor
- Sensei - 09-05-2018
- Delayed anchor maybe? Do you always struggle to sleep? Or just ay beginning of night or during wbtbs? Usually people struggle with only one.
- Doctor_Foxy - 09-05-2018
- Beginning of the night yeah. When wbtb I still do like I dont know how to fall asleep anf then I just do after some time(gewijzigd)
- Sensei - 09-05-2018
- Gotcha. That is the normal way for people to fall asleep.
- The problem with lots of LDers is paying attention to the process stops the process.
- Dont pay attention to the process. Pick a very light anchor, pay attention to that and let the process happen naturally.
- Doctor_Foxy - 09-05-2018
- I see
- With a mantra as anchor. Do you like let it "float" somewhere in your the back of your head(gewijzigd)
- Sensei - 09-05-2018
- Yeah, that isnt how I would put it, but that if that is what your mind came up with, then that is probably the best way for you to view it. It sounds like the right amount of attention.

- Something else to note, in my last LD after a little time it was as if I was looking trough a pair off goggles, like my field of view was just limited.(gewijzigd)
- I saw in a thread somewhere that you had to act as if you actually had goggles on and put them off and I did but after a couple of seconds it was back(gewijzigd)

- Yeah, dream control is sketch
- Attention is important. Perception changes your experience

- Or maybe done yourself

- Okay so, lets say I want a chair to appear infront of me. Every time Ive tried the chair appeared in giant form behind a building or somewhere else but Ive never been able to just make a chair appear infront of me.
- Any advice?
- Sensei - afgelopen maandag om 15:34
- Dream control is about perception and creativity. Think of a way that it makes sense within the rules. Think of rules as plus, not negative.
- I can summon a chair behind me
- Not
- I can't summon a chair in front of me.
- So with something like that you could look behind you because you know without a doubt that it can appear behind you, because it happens all the time.
- Other ideas would be leaving your rules behind and going to a place with new rules. Like a chair summoning world, get a master there. Or just inhabit the mind of a master.
- Or create a fake memory of doing it in the past so you know that you can do it in the future.
- Or, summon a chair behind you that has a button on it that summons chairs in front of you.
- Or, summon a chair behind you, but reaaaaaaaallllly slowly, so that you can turn around at the beginning and watch the full summon.
- Or, summon me behind you and ask me to make you do it. I can program a DC, you'd just have to allow me to (this would most likely be a DC version of me)
- There are infinite ways, and some may work for you. When I try to do a dream control, I basically just keep trying and making rules and plans and trying and trying. Usually things take me about 4 tries to get unless it is something that I have done before. I can go into "omnipotent mode" but that is usually like the looking at the back of a puzzle book sometimes instead of finding the answers.
- One rule I go by, is to find what you are good at with dream control and use it to fuel your confidence and other control
- When I couldnt fly, but I could use tk, I tked a car with me in it in the air. Then I stopped changed my mindset from "this is tk" to "this is flying" and jumped out. It worked like a charm, but then the next dream I couldnt fly again. It took me a long time to master this skill that most seem to naturally have. Haha.
- Doctor_Foxy - afgelopen maandag om 15:36
- I once actually asked a DC where you were and all the DCs started pointing at each other so that was intresting
- And yeah, flying is a thing I can do most of the times
- Another thing, when I think now. I would stand still in an LD and try out all sorts of powers but when Im in the LD I forget that and just fly around a bit.
- Maybe thats just because the dreams are pretty weak and its at the end of most dreams(gewijzigd)

- How To Remember Your Goals
- So... I think that this should help most people that are needing help with goals. I am not great, but I am getting better and better with leaps and

- Even though Im doing reality checks during the and keeping a DJ I still dont seem to get improvement like I used to
- After I quit DJing for a couple of days everything went wrong and its now been 2 weeks without a lot of improvement
- Something has changed
- 24 mei 2018
- Sensei - afgelopen donderdag om 15:20
- I am confused a bit. Really more about what you are asking me. It sounds like you are dealing with the inconsistent results of just DJing and RCing, which is why I lean away from them in all the things I say. Or if you do DJ, do it short or long with a purpose.
- Doctor_Foxy - afgelopen donderdag om 16:03
- Well Im DJing with a purpose to incrrase my recall but it hasnt had as much effect as last time
- Sensei - afgelopen donderdag om 23:36
- Well, I obviously recommend wbtb and naiya. I feel like they are almost irreplaceable to make up for consistency.
- 25 mei 2018
- Doctor_Foxy - gisteren om 15:46
- Also, wouldnt focussing on remembering your dreams already do the trick as much as writing since your still showing your brain you want to remember them?
- Sensei - gisteren om 15:48
- Hmmm... Is thinking about a book the same as doing a book report or reading it? I only write down a few words for each dream, if I don't, my recall slowly diminishes.
- Doctor_Foxy - gisteren om 15:48
- I see
- Sensei - gisteren om 15:52
- I usually wake for a minute, write a person, a place, and a thing that I am doing.
- Back to sleep.
- If I do a DJ (usually a month or two a year) I do it like my DJ system on DV.
- Still not a fully written DJ, too much time.
- Doctor_Foxy - gisteren om 15:53
- I havent been doing wbtb for a bit so Ima get back at it again. How many times during the night would you recommend?
- Sensei - gisteren om 16:05
- 4
- Doctor_Foxy - gisteren om 16:06
- Okay, that wil be quite a step up from 1 but will probs boost the odds of getting dreams/ LDs
- Sensei - gisteren om 16:07
- It should.
- Dont forget to wake yourself up a bit. If you are just waking up and then going back tk sleep, it won't help much. Raise the awareness as much as you personally feel comfy.
- Doctor_Foxy - gisteren om 16:08
- Yeah. Most of the times I would wake up and be too tired so directly go back to sleep.
- Sensei - gisteren om 16:10
- Yeah, gotta have a tiny bit of self control during the night. Not an place for most people to have it.
- 26 mei 2018
- Doctor_Foxy - vandaag om 09:55
- Would a drawing of a certaint moment in a dream with some words about the rest of the dream be enough to raise/ keep recall.
- Sensei - vandaag om 10:47
- Would it work to raise recall of an event in waking?
- Doctor_Foxy - vandaag om 10:48
- Yes I think
- Sensei - vandaag om 10:49
- Dont sound too confident. :P. It should definitely.
- Doctor_Foxy - vandaag om 10:50
- Okay then ;p
- Sensei - vandaag om 10:51
- This is gonna sound crazy, but there is no such thing as too confident in dream things. As long as that confidence is placed in yourself and not something you are doing.
- Who you are makes you lucid, not what you do.
- Doctor_Foxy - vandaag om 10:52
- Yeah since when Im still non-lucid its not really me acting or is it?
- Sensei - vandaag om 11:37
- Hmmm... If you are confident that you are good and it is easy, then it is gonna be easy. If you aren't confident that you are good and it is easy, there is a good chance you will struggle. So, if you can be confident, it isnt acting. If you are just pretending confidence, then it is. Does this make sense? There is also ignoring confidence. The dolphin way. It is kinda also the most confident way. Each night he goes to sleep and does his best and doesn't worry about results. Every morning he is 100% sure he did his best, so he accepts his results.
- A very good and enjoyable way to LD.
- In working out and other things, they often say to make goals about things you can change, not the things you cant. "I will be working out 5 days a week by the end of the year, but starting now I will do 3 days" vs "I'm gonna look like Dwayne Johnson in a year"
- Doctor_Foxy - vandaag om 11:40
- I am confident that it takes time and practise but Im getting there
- Id only be lying to myself if I say its really easy rn
- Sensei - vandaag om 11:41
- Alright. That is a good mindset. None of them were my mindset tho. :D
- I figured LDing was difficult, but I believed that I would be better than the rest if I could find out what makes people lucid and spam that. Using my brains to figure out what to do and applying it every night as much as possible. If I saw anyone succeeding faster than me, I knew I could do it better, so I studied harder and slept harder than all of them. :)
- After about 3-4 years, me and dolphin hit 1000 LDs at the same time lol.
- Doctor_Foxy - vandaag om 11:46
- I dragged a friend into this rn and me being me Im very competitive so idk if its a good thing or a bad one
- I had like 2 medium sized dreams today and that keeps me going for another couple of days where I then get another one or even a big one which extends it so thats how I keep running rn.
- I feel like its literally just growing and growing
- Till I get there I guess
- Im also trying to just understand the bigger picture about dreams
