1. Get an SN for the monitor you want to se.

(Make sure the serial number is for the country you want to se the monitor to.)

2. Photoshop the serial number onto the back of a picture of the monitor you want to se

(This is quite easy to do. You can feel free to pay a photoshopper to do it for you.)

3. Give lenovo a call.

Tell the support agent that your monitor is powering on but the screen stays completely blank.
The indicator light on the monitor illuminates but the screen DOES NOT.
Mention that you have tried multiple troubleshooting steps including trying different computers,
different hdmi cables, different hdmi ports, different outlets, and even different power cords!

Possibilities:

1.They will tell you that your monitor needs to be replaced and will ask you to send a picture
of the back of the monitor to an email. Send the picture you photoshopped and give them your
address etc. You will receive the monitor within 10 - 14 business days.

2. They will ask you to do some other troubleshooting steps. Simply stick with the story and say
the screen stays blank but the indicator light on the monitor illuminates.
