  94.
  95.
  96. User in semi-spec state:
  97. Don’t use /vanish, only /spec and /unspec (and /unspecall). It could cause people to get stuck as specs even through unspecall or worse, and it’s difficult to fix. Use /specs to check all properly specced users, and unvanish anyone you see in the list in “/vanished” so they do not get stuck in limbo.

  114. Climb Plugins
  115. BlockUpdatePreventer - nice for preventing the server from dying or making chunk errors look better (no water flowing over the edge)
  116. InvincibilityToggle - allows pause/resume commands to work, improves scatter
  117. HardMode - Demolition plugin IIRC, probably not the most recent version
  118.
  119.
  120. Outside Plugins
  121. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/shopkeepers/ - Shopkeepers, for villager trading
  122. http://wiki.sk89q.com/wiki/WorldEdit/Reference - WorldEdit
  123. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/worldguard/ - WorldGuard
  124. WGRegionEffects and WGCustomEffects are for this
  125. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/terrain-control/ - TerrainControl, to generate alternate terrain
  126. BO3Tools is for this
  127. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/skript/ - Skript - I don’t use it anymore, there in case you want some of the weird gamemodes
  128. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/motdmanager/ - MOTDManager - just use the /status commands unless you really need something custom
  129. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/ip-check-jnk/ - IP Check - Finds alts
  130. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/antibranchmining/ - AntiBranchMining - makes non-exposed ores not spawn (does it work at the moment?)
  131. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/openinv/ - OpenInv - way better than invsee
  132. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/essentials/ - Essentials, EssentialsSpawn, EssentialsProtect, GroupManager if we ever implement permissionsw
  133. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/otherdrops/ - OtherDrops - used for alternate drops
  134. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/worldborder/ - Generates the map and keeps people within it
  135. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/ultra-hardcore/ - UHC plugin, we are on dev version
  136. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/commandhelper/ - CommandHelper - Most of my scripts are in here, please don’t mess them up
  137. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/freeze/ - Freeze - Used by my scripts to freeze players between scatter and start, and during a pause. I don’t like the UHC freeze because it has annoying potion effects and people can still move.
  138. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/powernbt/ - PowerNBT - useful for a lot of scripts, but you will crash the server a lot if you mess with it, guaranteed. don’t use it during a game unless you are 100% sure what you are doing. I no longer use this for inventory management
  139. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/simplyvanish/ - SimplyVanish - enables my autospec scripts, but please use my commands to maintain a consistent state (so players aren’t stuck half-specs)
  140. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/multiverse-core/ - Multiverse (we also used Multiverse-nether portals) - Enables spawn world and some scenarios
  141.
  142.
  143. Anything other than these I don’t know what it is doing there
  144.
  145.
  146. Simple Game Guide (FFA)
  147.
  148.
  149. Restart the server with whatever world you want to use selected as the default one.
  150. Join the server, use /generate <radius> (750 for 1500x1500 map)
  151. Turn off and clear the whitelist using /whitelist clear
  152. ---
  153. At game time, whitelist everyone online and enable it with /whitelist online
  154. Then /scatter <radius> (again, 750 for 1500x1500 map)
  155.
  156.
  157. When everyone is scattered, and things seem to be working, use the start command.
  158. /start <increment> <totaltime> [timetopvp]
  159. The increment is the amount of time between the timer giving updates, nothing else.
  160. Total time is the total time of the game in minutes.
  161. Timetopvp is the amount of minutes until pvp starts and defaults to 10.
  162. ---
  163. At the end of the game, use /end.
  164.
  165.

  187. ./team delete <team number> deletes it
  188. ./team rebuild removes empty teams and puts players in them
  189. say you have empty teams like players in team 1 3 4 it will move 3 to 2 4 to 3 delete 4
  190.
  191.
  192. Taken from a skype convo sorry if it makes little sense
  193.
  194.
  195. Climb Scripts
  196. Spectator Use
  197. /spec - Lists these commands
  198. /specs - List spectators
  199. /sc <message> - Spec chat only specs can see
  200. /stp <spectator> - teleports to a spectator
  201. //sworld [world] - If no world given, lists worlds. If # given, teleports to the spawn of that world.
  202. /squit - Self-unspecs and returns to the spawn world
  203.
  204.
  205. Team control
  206. Most of these are ghowden’s except /createteams and /colorteams (and I changed /jointeam and /leaveteam so they can be used with lists of players instead of one)
  207. /createteams <number> - Creates a number of randomly named teams
  208. /createteam
  209. /colorteams - Colors all teams. Will start with non italic, non underline, nicer colors (blue, red, green, etc). Max of 60 teams, but the server can only handle that many players, so we should be fine. You can use this any time after teams are created, whether or not players are joined yet
  210. /jointeam <team> <list of players> - Joins all players to selected team (UHC0, UHC1, etc)
  211. /leaveteam <list of players> - Makes all players in the list leave their teams
  212. /clearteams - Removes all teams, called automatically by /end
  213. /removeteam <team> - Removes a team. Not really necessary as they’ll all be cleared later anyway
  214. /listteams - Lists teams - will show people with nicknames multiple times to color them both
  215. Spawn Info Bot
  216. /bot - explains bot commands
  217. /bot <host>,<starttime>,<gamelength (in hours)>,<mapsize>,<format> - Changed to use commas in between instead of spaces, so commas cannot be in any argument. - Posts a message every 75? seconds (currently) giving this info. Players can also see this at their will with the /info command once you use this command (including after it stops going automatically).
  218.
  219.
  220. /bot disable - Turn off spawn info bot. Automatically stops at the scatter.
  221.
  222. Commands
  223.
  224.
  225. /spawnworld - Loads spawn world and sets spawn to its center. Usually not necessary.
  226.
  227.
  228. /createspawn 0 - creates the spawn region without making an actual box. Useful so you don’t have to set all flags yourself. Will set pvp to false, invincible to true, mob spawning to false, and build to false. (then use /region redefine spawn on the area of your actual spawn, or it won’t do anything)
  229.
  230.
  231. /createspawn - teleports to the height limit and creates a bedrock box below with spawn protection. Puts you on a glass block above it in the center. Sets spawn in the middle of the box. Teleports everyone there, so don’t use it during a game.
  232.
  233.
  234. /createspawn teams - The same as above but also adds cobblestone fences you can use to put teams together.
  235.
  236.
  237. /generate <square-radius> - Generates up to the radius in each direction from 0,0. Also puts lapis block walls on the border.
  238.
  239.
  240. /walls <square-radius> <block> - Generates only walls at the radius in each direction from 0,0. You can use this with the same radius as the generator to switch the block to something else.
  241.
  242.
  243. You can also use ghowden’s borders, the normal commands should work. But it won’t generate the terrain, you will need to do that manually.
  244.
  245.
  246. /feed <player> [half-haunches] - Feeds player to however many half haunches (20 max), full by default
  247. /feedall <half-haunches> - same for all players
  248.
  249.
  250. /heal <player> [half-hearts] - Heals player to however many half hearts (20 max), full by default
  251. /healall <half-hearts> - same for all players
  252.
  253.
  254. /setmax [player] <half-hearts> - Sets maximum hearts for a player. Doesn’t reset until you use /clearall or /fixmax
  255.
  256.
  257. /fixmax [player] - Fixes maximum hearts to 20 (10 full hearts) for given player or all players if none given
  258.
  259.
  260. /clear <player> - Clears food, health, inventory, XP, saturation, potion effects, gamemode (to survival), and extinguishes the player if necessary.
  261. /clearall - Clears food, health, inventory, XP, saturation, potion effects, gamemode (to survival), and extinguishes all players.
  262.
  263.
  264. /timer <increment> <endtime> - Counts time every <increment> minutes until <endtime>. You don’t need to use this unless you aren’t using the start command or the server restarts in the middle of a game (the timer will stop if it does)
  265.
  266.
  267. /stoptimer - Stops the timer. Make sure to use this if you are starting another timer or weird stuff will happen.
  268.
  269.
  270. Team related: See UHC
  271.
  272.
  273. /scatter <radius>[:<mindist>] - Scatters all players on a square map without teammates with a max distance of <radius>. Will also unspec them and put them in survival. They will be frozen and invincible until you use the start command.
  274. Defaults as if using ghowden’s scatter commands: /scatter RandomSquare no <radius> <currentworld>:0,0 *
  275.
  276.
  277. /scatterteams <radius>[:<mindist>] - Same but with teams
  278.
  279.
  280. /scatterplayer <list of players separated by spaces> - Scatters players over the same radius as when you last called scatter, good for late scatters
  281.
  282.
  283. You may also scatter using any other combination of the options he has, as they would be used normally. For instance, if you want to use teams on a circle map, use /scatter RandomCircle false 1500:100 worldname:0,0 *. The script will “hook on” and still freeze, unspec, etc as normal.
  284.
  285.
  286. See here for all the scatter options.
  287. Note that if scatter fails, players will be unfrozen on the second scatter, so you may need to refreeze them manually.
  288.
  289.
  290. /start <increment> <time> [timeuntilpvp] - Starts a game with a timer that shows every <increment> minutes until <time>. Disallows PVP until [timeuntilpvp] unless you make it 0. Time until pvp defaults to 10 minutes.
  291.
  292.
  293. /pillar - Makes a lapis pillar to the sky limit at 0,0, might make meetups easier.
  294.
  295.
  296. /deaths - Lists deaths since the last /cleardeaths or /start. (just use /end)
  297.
  298.
  299. /cleardeaths - Clears all deaths. Use if people die before the official start of the game, but after the /start.
  300.
  301.
  302. /end - use at the end of the game. Will replay all deaths since the last use of the /start command and remove all worldguard regions.
  303.
  304.
  305. /enchant <enchant> <level> - Unsafely enchants whatever you’re holding with the enchantment at whatever level. Might crash above level 10.
  306.
  307.
  308. /giveall <item:data> <number> - Gives everyone <number> items with :data
  309.
  310.
  311. /pause - Stops players and makes them invincible.
  312.
  313.
  314. /resume - Restarts the match after a pause. Players will be invincible for the first 10 seconds in case mobs snuck up on them while they were frozen.
  315.
  316.
  317. /b <msg> - Server broadcast with one’s name in place of the server name, e.g. [Climbed] asdf
  318. /a <msg> - Normal server broadcast shortcut, e.g. [Server] asdf
  319.
  320.
  321. /gmall 0/1/2 - Switches everyone to survival/creative/adventure mode
  322.
  323.
  324. /sd <radius> <xcenter> <zcenter> - First, announces SD starts in 1 minute. Then creates a square sudden death arena centered at xcenter, zcenter with radius radius. Teleports everyone there and gives them 30 seconds to spread out. Then SD starts. If you need to pause for some reason, wait until it says “Sudden Death starts now!” and then use /pause.
  325.
  326.
  327. /randsd <radius> <radius of the whole map> - Randomly creates a sudden death arena somewhere on the map. It should be fully contained within the map. Will do all the same stuff the /sd command does otherwise.
  328.
  329.
  330. /cleareffects - Clears all potion effects from all players. Mostly for pregame. If you use it during the game someone might lose their regeneration from a gapple or something.
  331. /cleareffect <player> - Same for a single playe
  332.
  333.
  334. /geteffects <player> - Lists the potion effects affecting a player
  335.
  336.
  337. /kickall [message] - Kicks all players with the message
  338.
  339.
  340. /leave - Fakes a message saying you left the game. Good for speccing
  341.
  342.
  343. /join - Fakes a message saying you joined the game.
  344.
  345.
  346. /specs - Lists people in proper spec mode
  347.
  348.
  349. FOR SPEC COMMANDS THE NAME MUST BE WRITTEN OUT - SO YOU DON’T SPEC SOMEONE WRONG BY ACCIDENT!
  350.
  351.
  352. /unspec <player> - Unspecs a player
  353.
  354.
  355. /spec <player> - Specs a player (makes them invisible and in fly-adventure mode). They will still be specs when they come back to the server later until someone unspecs or /unspecalls
  356.
  357.
  358. /unspecall - Unspecs all players
  359.
  360.
  361. /specoff - I don’t think it works, but it should spec someone who is offline
  362.
  363.
  364. /autospec off - Disables autospec and autokick
  365.
  366.
  367. /autospec on - Enables autospec (players become specs as soon as they die). I recommend using this for FFA games and even team ones when you want to make sure they are not respawning on the map messing things up. Just make sure people leave when they die so they aren’t helping their teammates, unless that is part of the game.
  368.
  369.
  370. /autospec kick - Automatically kicks players 30 seconds after they die with a friendly message. For now, will kick ops too.
  371.
  372.
  373. /fixdeaths - Clears “dead” team (turns everyone’s names in the chat back white) - automatically done by start and end
  374.
  375.
  376. /time permaday - Sets it to noon and stops time from passing
  377.
  378.
  379. /time permanight - Sets it to midnight and stops time from passing
  380.
  381.
  382. /time cycle - allows time to pass again
  383.
  384.
  385. Whitelist
  386.
  387.
  388. Default commands:
  389. /whitelist on - Enables the whitelist
  390. /whitelist off - Disables the whitelist
  391. /whitelist reload - Reloads the whitelist from the text file in the server directory. Sometimes fixes issues.
  392.
  393.
  394. /whitelist online - Whitelists everyone who is online and enables the whitelist.
  395.
  396.
  397. /whitelist clear - Clears the whitelist and disables it.
  398.
  399.
  400. /wl clear - Clears the whitelist.
  401. /wl minecore - Adds everyone from minecore’s whitelist to the whitelist. Might not be up to date. probably getting rid of this, does minecore even play uhc? no. fuckers. ikr
  402.
  403.
  404. /wl online - Whitelists everyone who is online.
  405.
  406.
  407. For first come first serve games, I recommend opening the server ~15 minutes before the game starts, then using /wl online and /whitelist on once it fills, so people on the server can get back in if they lose connection.
  408.
  409.
  410. Server Status
  411.
  412.
  413. I’m working on automating this but work with it for now
  414.
  415.
  416. /status - lists all the statuses you can set the server to
  417. /status public - Marks as a public event
  418. /status private - Marks as a private event
  419. /status game - Marks that a game is in progress
  420. /status wait [time] - Marks that a game is starting soon. If you include the time, will say what time it starts. Please use absolute time, not “in 2 hours”, etc
  421. /status none - Marks the server as not in use
  422. /status busy - Marks that the server is being prepped
  423. /status test - Marks that stuff is open for testing
  424. /status custom <msg> - Marks the server is whatever you want it to be.
  425.
  426.
  427. /coords - Any player can use this to post their coords in the chat. Specs can’t use it.
  428.
  429.
  430. /stop <message> - stops the server and gives the kick message <message>
  431.
  432.
  433. /oc <message> - Opchat, shows in teal and only to other ops
  434.
  435.
  436. /pvp - Shows the pvp status of each world. Don’t turn off pvp in spawn, that is handled by worldguard.
  437.
  438.
  439. /pvp on <world> - Enables pvp manually
  440. /pvp off <world> - Disables pvp manually
  441. Don’t use these if you are using the start command unless the server restarts before pvp is enabled.
  442.
  443.
  444. /limit <number> - Limits the number of players on the server to a certain number. Does not make use of the native server limit, as beastnode doesn’t allow that. It’s kind of hacky but it works. Ops can still get around it, but only those on the official op list. Might want to use this each time the server restarts to be sure, but it seems to work fine.
  445.
  446.
  447. /fixops - Deops everyone who isn’t on the official op list and reops everyone who is. Automatically done when the server restarts, though it might miss someone who was made op without logging in.
  448.
  449.
  450.

  497.
  498.
  499. /cobblehaters 1/0 - Toggles cobblehaters. Currently just has cobble and stone drop nothing. They can still be mined with explosions though.
  500.
  501.
  502. /demolition 1/0 - Toggles demolition (requires plugin to be enabled, obviously), all functions except the map generation (just use map ‘demolition’ for those)
  503.
  504.
  505. /armageddon start <world> <diameter> <bps> - Working on this, will not work very well currently. Starts lava, gravel, and cobblestone raining down on the world from x,z -diameter/2 to x,z +diameter/2. Will generate bps*20 falling blocks at y level 192 randomly over that size. So if you want to do it over a 500x500 area, use /armageddon start (world) 1000 1. High values of bps (over 3 or so) might crash the server and will definitely cause intense client lag. I think the client lag is due to loading a ton of entities when loading chunks where stuff has been falling, so it should be fine on a small area where everything is loaded the entire time. Currently does not drop potions, etc.
  506.
  507.
  508. /armageddon end - Stop the armageddon

  513. /giverandall <num-items> - Same but gives it to all players, will give them the same items
  514. /giveallrand <num-items> - same but gives different num items to all players
  515.
  516.
  517. /enchantsetup - Creates and protects an enchanting setup where you are standing.
  518.
