  2. How does it disprove Christianity?
  3. Christianity claims that all people are sinners who deserve God's wrath
  4. but because of God's great mercy, some are saved from that wrath
  5. despite the fact that they in no way deserve to be
  6.

  8. Ok...as Christians we both agree that first borns were killed. I asked you to show how your view is not contradictory and you respond by implying that that would also preclude Gods killing newborns. At best, your argument doesnt reinforce your view, it kills it and mine.
  9.
  10. 63801787@facebook.aol 10:50 pm
  11. What have I said that is contradictory to that?
  12. I don't think the Bible teaches an "age of innocence"
  13. I don't think that a newborn is born with a clean slate
  14.

  16. Czar, you have to explain the logical POE. I don't think Tony knows what you're referring to.
  17.
  18. 63801787@facebook.aol 10:51 pm
  19. I know exaclty what the PoE is
  20.
  21. Tim 10:51 pm
  22. Tony, Czar is referring to the logical problem of evil.
  23. the logical version
  24.
  25. 63801787@facebook.aol 10:51 pm
  26. I know
  27. 1) God is all good
  28. 2) Evil Exists
  29.
  30. czar bernstein 10:52 pm
  31. 1. If God is omnipotent, he has the power to prevent evil
  32.
  33. 63801787@facebook.aol 10:52 pm
  34. I know the argument
  35.
  36. czar bernstein 10:52 pm
  37. ok
  38.
  39. Tim 10:52 pm
  40. hm. it just seems to me you are all shooting past each other
  41.
  42. 63801787@facebook.aol 10:52 pm
  43. We are, but my guess is that it is because we disagree on the level of human nature
  44.
  45. Tim 10:52 pm
  46. Czar is saying that God's willing evil is logically contradictory (like a square circle).
  47.
  48. czar bernstein 10:52 pm
  49. I am not getting an answer as to why God can be all powerful and all good and at the same time predestin evil
  50.
  51. 63801787@facebook.aol 10:53 pm
  52. and I'm saying that it isn't evil
  53. Define Evil
  54.
  55. czar bernstein 10:53 pm
  56. A departure from the way things ought to be
  57.
  58. 63801787@facebook.aol 10:53 pm
  59. ok
  60. and what are the way things ought to be
  61.
  62. czar bernstein 10:53 pm
  63. goodness as expressed in Gods commands and Gods essential nature
  64.
  65. 63801787@facebook.aol 10:54 pm
  66. ok
  67. So, as a Christian, you affirm that all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God
  68. right?
  69. and the wages of sin is death
  70. so the way it "ought" to be, is for all to recieve death
