Yuri got tired of counting his paces as he walked around the statue, wiping condensation off of his gas mask as he sat down. He sighed, not knowing when Melnik would be back. He couldn’t look up, couldn’t look up.  One of the Kremlin's  towers was staring Yuri in the face and Yuri couldn’t look back. That's when Yuri felt something was staring him in the face, something not human. He heard a screech behind him, Librarians.

	Librarians are a rat like creature, mutated from the blast. They were very deadly and were very well known in Polis . Librarians were creatures that could kill you in a heartbeat from behind, without a sound. Yuri almost had a heart attack, he stood up looking at the ground. Thinking he was just seconds away from death, he was wrong.

	“GET DOWN!” Yuri jumped at the ground and heard several loud gunshots from behind. A creature was heard from behind, almost whimpering. Yuri wondered if it was the Librarian yet he didn't dare look. “It's me” said a gruff voice from behind. Yuri made a sigh of relief and stood up. It was Melnik.

	“You get everything you need?” Yuri said hurriedly, obviously wanting to get back into the comfort of the Russian Metro. “Yeah, this wood will last us a week or so, I've also got some books we can sell” was the response.

	Yuri and Melnik walked towards the Metro Entrance, taking a left at Kitai Gorod St. the broken down escalators welcomed them. There was a sense of danger in the air as they knocked on the big pressurized door in a ring shape three times signaling that they were stalkers. The door opened within a minute and they both stepped inside.

	The platform of Polis was bustling with energy as people were trading goods and wares from across the metro. “I'm going to go get some tea, the VDNKh import just came in” The tea in the Russian metro was, peculiar to say the least. It's made with mushrooms and other irregular ingredients. Most of the metro drank tea, VDNKh's tea was the most renowned in the Metro. Most people spat it out the first time they drank, but kept drinking until they got used to the flavor. Yuri quickly got a cartridge out and handed it to the vendor. The salesman quickly got some tea from a kettle and filled Yuri's mug with it. Yuri sealed the top of his mug and put it in his rucksack.

	Yuri walked back onto the platform, realizing he hadn't taken of his gas mask he took it off before anyone else noticed. Yuri looked around and noticed someone with glasses on. Polis's light was much brighter than other places in the metro where they had
