- 1. Devils and the Details
- - I really enjoyed this game, not saying that this game is far above all the others in this pack because they're all pretty on par with each other. I like the coop aspect of this game, and I see it as a good evolution of Bomb Corporation from Party Pack 2. Maybe with less players like 5 or 6 this would be easier, but the chaos that comes with 8 players has a charm of its own. I do admit that this game can get stale after only one play, but that is negligible as there are so many other good games in this pack to play.
- 2. Champ'd Up
- - I thought this game was going to be a mashup of Tee KO/Patently Stupid, and I was partially correct. The idea of you having to draw a character based only on the drawing of someone else doesn't really change anything for me in terms of how good or bad the game is. However, I can say that this game would not have been the same for me had it not been for the tag out system in play for the second round. It's a very good idea that forces you to be creative in all of your characters so you can have a good spread to use in the second round.
- 3. Blather 'Round
- - I expected this game to be more trivia based, but the trivia aspect of it is very minimal. Most of the prompts that are chosen are well known characters or movies that almost everyone should know, so it isn't very trivia-heavy (which is good because apparently everyone hates trivia). I really like the aspect of having to vaguely explain something to someone and them trying to guess it until you can finally explain it with enough detail that they understand what you mean. I would honestly tie this game with Talking Points, but I have to give the edge to Blather 'Round because it (personally) had a more consistent stream of entertainment.
- 4. Talking Points
- - Very solid game that everyone enjoys. I do believe that it is unfair to base the opinion of the game only on the fact that it got us to laugh really hard, simply because we were unfamiliar with how sudden and unexpected everything would be. However, I digress. I enjoy this game a lot, and think that it is one of the only Jackbox games that DE emphasizes having to win. Everybody can have fun presenting their presentation and everybody can have fun watching people present. Only con I can see is that the game is very long, so it can get quite stale after one or two plays (similar to Devils and the Details).
- ?. Quiplash 3
- - I can't really rank this game, considering it is just Quiplash. However, I will say that this version of Quiplash is probably my favorite version, both due to the claymation style and the final round being way better than any other Quiplash. I also enjoy the subtle changes they made by adding popular user created prompts to the main menu and also the ability to choose your own avatar before starting a game.
- Overall, I would rank this party pack as the best of the bunch. Party pack 7 is honestly my favorite pack so far considering the fact that *every* game is solid. I was going into this expecting something at least as good as party packs 4 and 6, and I gotta say, my expectations were blown out of the water.
