High-Low.
In a game of High-Low, the dealer places a card down for the guest, the player must then decide whether they think the next card is going to be higher or lower than the card that was just placed down. If they guess correct then they will win 0.5x their original bet, the player can keep playing until they decide to cash out, or lose.

Our casino will be run by the staff from our company, ROZE Entertainment & Events. We currently have 51 active staff members, a specific amount will be given the opportunity to work at each opening.

We would like to have our casino open actively, other casinos like The Visage have had a schedule of opening once every one or two weeks, on Sunday's exclusively. Although this is a good model to keep the business exclusive, we feel that an active business which opens multiple times per week is good for a number of reasons; More people will know about the Casino and it's opening days/time if kept consistent, it gives players an opportunity to do more during quieter days, it allows our staff to enjoy more roleplay experiences.

It is no secret that a number of community members have complaining about the lack of casinos, despite there being currently 2 casinos owned by players, neither actively open - It's a rarity. The casino leasing applications are a perfect way to counter these arguments, and I truly believe we are one of the best teams for this.

We would like to open 2-4 times per week, ideally being Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, all at 21:00 - 23:00 - If we're permitted to open 4 times a week then it'll certainly happen, I don't doubt that we cannot do it.

For 2 hours of work we would normally pay our staff more than the 30k required, most of our staff would be paid $40,000 - $50,000 for the shift, a very fair amount.

The Casino will be furnished with real life Casino's taken into inspiration to create a realistic and entertaining looking interior.

A forum topic will also be created exclusively for the casino which will include working buttons, information on games, age requirements, staff information, images and opening days.

[b][u]How Our Casino Would Be Run:[/u][/b]

As an events faction we do not want to open a basic "Come along and gamble!" type Casino, we want to offer much more.

Our Casino will include a stage which we will host entertainment on - Ideally at every opening - This will include things such as synchronized flapper dancer routines, acrobats or circus type performances (We will take inspiration from real life acts within Casinos) We do not wish to host any sexualised acts on the stage or anywhere else in the Casino.

Bars at Casinos IG have proven to be inactive when put in place - To counter this we will still have a bar, but will however provide maid/waiter services. Maids/waiters will attend the Casino in uniform with a dish-looking clothing item using /carry, they will approach guests and offer them drinks - If the guest would like a drink the maid/waiter will then go to the bar with the order, a bartender will make the drink and the maid/waiter will return to the guest with it. - Just like real life casinos, those who have spent a lot of money during the opening will be treated as though they are VIP's and will be given free drinks. Casinos do this so that the customer does not leave and feels welcome within the business.

Another unique factor of our Casino would be the introduction of tournaments, namely Poker tournaments based off of real life Poker-Stars events. We were thankfully given permission in the past by leads to host a one-time poker tournament which went very well, it created some poker-related roleplay that hasn't really been done much in the past. Players, especially the remaining two, were roleplaying their expressions, their moves and their bets. We also had a dealer roleplaying placing the flop, turn and river.

Aside from our unique aspects we will have course offer the normal blackjack games and poker games and will also try and encourage roleplay around these games, rather than constant /dice and scripted no-rp poker. With our blackjack games we would like to offer card games as well as dice game - Before /dice was introduced I remember blackjack being played with /rnumber 1 13, I would like to try and bring this back depending on how people respond to it in it's first few trials. We would also like to introduce our High-Low game that was detailed above.

Openings will be advertised both in game and on the forums.

We currently have 4 company managers (All of which are very active, intelligent people who actually have common-sense, 2 of the managers are also directors) and 2 supervisors. All of which will take responsibilities of openings - Our large management team ensures that we won't miss openings. It will not be just me profiting from openings - It will be split between all managers and wages issued between staff.

Our faction is an events and entertainment faction which actively hosts it's own IC events. One of our main services is our staff hire, we are actively hired by (Honestly most) many businesses to provide a number of staff including security, bartenders, dancers, advertisers etc - We are already used to working and often managing several business openings successfully on the same day, often at the exact same time.

One of our biggest customers was The Visage - We were in charge of supplying [b]ALL[/b] staff to the Visage for a good couple of months, this includes Security, Blackjack Dealers, Bartenders, Bus Drivers and Valet Drivers. This on top of our poker tournament event shows that we do have a lot of experience with Casinos and understand the rules that resolve around them fully.

We also have a scripted company at the moment and we are saving up our company points so that we can apply for custom skins - If our casino application is accepted, one of the skins we will be applying for is a flapper dancers skin to take place on the stage during our shows just to create a little bit more immersion.

With our company we also have access to /createscene, which we will use to detail information in the casino such as where certain games are and what the stakes for said game is. Image below as an example of our /createscene usage at The Visage;

Another useful command we have access to is /roadblock - Which we will use to setup barriers at our Casino's entrance during openings.

All-in-all, we are not planning on opening a Casino for money, we enjoy the roleplay around it and I think my evidence above shows so! Although we do wish to run the business realistically and make a profit, we will not complain with a loss. I think this will create a great opportunity for our faction, our staff, those in the community who enjoy gambling and the LSRP community as a whole with the frequent openings.

This is also not my first time applying for a Casino - I applied last year personally to Apophis before applications were a thing - The interest hasn't just sprung up out of no-where.

In terms of real life knowledge I own an events company - I have real life experience with working in the events and entertainment industry. Real life business knowledge and experiences will be applied here. Although not something to brag about, but applies here, is that I do gamble in real life from time to time in my local casino (Generally poker and sports betting).

We take pride in everything we do and always try and apply max effort, there is no other unofficial legal-faction which actively pursues creating scenarios for the community at (usually) a genuine financial loss for the faction leader and still enjoys it. Another thing to note is that we are one of not-so-many active unofficial legal factions and I bet we will likely be the only one applying for this. At the moment the two other player-owned casinos are run by illegal factions (And are inactive), we would be the first legal faction in a long time to run a legal casino.
