  1. A puzzle game based on the color purple, blue and red.
  2. The point is to unite the Red and Blue characters, who can only survive in
  3. areas and manipulate objects that contain "their color", Purple is a mix of
  4. both and thus both characters can interact with it. Properly meeting the two
  5. characters ends the level and moves on to the next one.
  6.
  7. Characters:
  8. Unit A (Blue) - Girl
  9. Unit B (Red) - Boy
  10. Overseer - Directs players through tutorial, then becomes an antagonist once
  11. Unit A and Unit B decide to be together and eventually try to escape.
  12.
  13. Mechanics:
  14. The primary mechanics are four colors, Red, Blue, Purple and Yellow. Only Unit A
  15. can survive in Blue areas, while only Unit B can survive in Red. Both characters
  16. can live in Purple areas and interact with objects with the same colors they
  17. may survive in. Yellow will kill both characters.
  18.
  19. Objects may be pushed, pulled, activated, deactivated and destroyed. Some objects
  20. may be combined, and if Blue and Red objects combine, they create a Purple object.
  21. The two characters must often interact with objects in a way to create a clear
  22. path for both of them to enter the Purple area, then successfully meet.
  23.
  24. There are only four actions, Move, Jump, Interact, and Switch. Moving is done
  25. in a traditional method of using Arrow Keys or a Joypad. Jump, Interact and
  26. Switch each have their own button/key assigned to them. Jumping is self explanatory
  27. and moves the character a small amount vertically and horizontally to move
  28. past obstacles. Interact will cause the current selected character to Interact
  29. with the object they are currently facing. Switching will change the playable
  30. character from Unit A to Unit B and vice-versa. Both characters work in exactly
  31. the same way.
  32.
  33. You may also Reset the level if you create a situation where you cannot move forward.
  34.
  35. The current level will reset if one character dies, most levels are short and take
  36. no longer than 60 seconds to complete if you know the solution. The objective is
  37. to make approximately 100 levels, or 100 different puzzles. Including the tutorial.
  38. Levels have no time limit.
  39.
  40. Story:
  41. Unit A and Unit B are failed experimental test subjects created through genetic
  42. engineering who do not properly exhibit the ability to be destroyed by each other.
  43. However they are still bound by the laws of color otherwise and cannot touch objects
  44. that contain their partner's color. Due to being raised as test subjects the two
  45. have no prior human contact and instantly bond upon meeting one another.
  46.
  47. As the game progresses, the two are pit into an area where they are told to not
  48. destroy an object to meet, and report for termination. The game's only way to
  49. progress is to destroy said object and meet, and their creator instantly begins
  50. becoming an antagonist and at the beginning of each level tells them not to continue.
  51. Eventually the game becomes more deadly as their creator attempts to terminate
  52. them (through level design) by her own doing, as if they escape they would
  53. jeapoardize the project.
  54.
  55. Once the two finally escape, they meet the sunlight, which is quite yellow in
  56. nature. This kills them both, however they die happily.
