  1. Callus Cyprio is an unassuming human who looks no different from the countless guns for hire who inhabit cantinas everywhere. Possessing features that suggest a connection to Alderaan (or Coruscant, or Corellia, or anywhere else where there are humans with brown eyes and hair), he says he doesn't have a planet to call home. Technically that's true; he was born on a starship. In terms of proficiency Callus ("Cal" to his friends) likes to think himself a generalist. He's good with machines, knows his way around the galaxy, and knows docking regulations better than the guys who wrote them. He'd admit he's not a soldier, but he's good for a fight.

  3. Cal is a relative unknown in this part of the Rim. To hear him tell it he was raised on a bulk freighter, the Calm Seas, which was owned by his parents and hauled cargo in the Core Worlds. The cargo was boring and the routes were safe, but it gave Cal a chance to pick up the skills he needed. The birth of the Empire brought about more stability, but it also brought about taxes and fees that drove profit margins razor thin. Eventually it became too much for his parents, and they sold the freighter and retired on a remote planet near the Outer Rim. To his knowledge they're still there. Rather than stay put Cal decided to stake it out on his own, and he's been seeing the galaxy ever since.

  5. That's what Callus Cyprio would have you think. And chances are pretty good if you were a captain you would shrug your shoulders, accept his story, and hire him to fill whatever spot was needed. He would perform admirably, never complain, and you'd be thankful for having such a reliable crew member. Then one day in port he would disappear. It might be in a port of call with a heavy Imperial presence, or during a routine inspection while docked with an Imperial cruiser. Weeks later word would get around of another rebel sabotage, but by then you would have forgotten about the crewman who disappeared without warning.

  7. In reality Callus Cyprio doesn't exist. Nor does Calrek Horkin, Calron Zartrin, or Calshate Nacin. All of these refer to one individual; a member of the rebellion by the name of Cal Organa. Cal is a minor member of the House of Organa, the ruling House of Alderaan. Before Alderaan was destroyed he was a law enforcement officer whose name brought about more jokes than royal engagements.

  9. When the Empire destroyed his home planet he was celebrating his honeymoon on a Mon Calamari passenger liner. He didn't find out until he and his wife returned to port and was intercepted by Imperial authorities. He was incarcerated under suspicion of rebel sympathies. His wife, stricken with grief, killed herself within a week. For weeks Cal was interrogated daily, questioned about people he barely knew and accused of activities he had no knowledge of. Eventually he captors grew tired of him and he was slotted for transfer to a prison colony.

  11. It was during the transit that the Rebellion came and freed him. Rebel SpecForce Marines disabled the shuttle and took out the crew, intent on saving the member of the "Alderaanian High Royalty" that their intelligence network said was being held captive. Imagine their surprise when they discovered the prize under Imperial guard was actually Princess Leia's third cousin, twice removed. To this day Cal remains glad that none of the Marines died saving his worthless ass.

  13. Already a fugitive, Cal naturally joined the Rebellion. The loss of his wife and homeworld, coupled with months of harsh interrogation, left him a hollow man. He found he could not serve in a traditional capacity. What he needed was vengeance, a chance to strike back directly at those who had wronged him so grievously. Cal found solace within an elite branch of the Rebellion; the SpecForce Infiltrators. The SpecForce Infiltrators are some of the most feared operators within the Rebellion. They are the lone wolves, operators driven to insane acts of heroism by their need for revenge against the Empire.

  15. Cal excels at this role, and has spent the last year hurting the Empire from within their ranks. He prefers to use Imperial paranoia and suspicion against their own troops. By planting evidence of treason or corruption it is remarkably easy for a loyal officer to become a convicted traitor. Emotionally he is cold and calculating, always retaining a calm demeanor even in the face of sheer peril. The most disturbing thing about him are his eyes; even when he makes eye contact you feel as if he's staring at something a thousand parsecs in the distance.
