  1. I'd like to think that this story is the objective truth of the history of /u/dancatpro. Some people may think he was worse, some (including him) might think he wasn't this bad. These are just my observations. It's debatable (also irrelevant since this is just an information post, not a judgmental post) whether he learned his lesson or not, but he's been clean of any arguments since a very long time.
  2. -tldr at bottom-
  3.
  4. Long story short he was aggressive towards a lot of people who disagreed with him. He also made very angry and disrespectful posts about his ranked teammates about ever week. First these actions made sense because for a year he claimed that he had aspergers and he constantly posted on /r/aspergers and /r/autism about how he, a handicapped person, was able to become 5K at Dota 2. Then it turned out he did not have autism so he deleted everything and started flaming anyone who mentioned his "autism", even those who didn't know he was actually normal and meant no harm.
  5.
  6. Anyways due to his short-tempered personality, constant ranked blog-posts, and autism scandal, he gained a malicious fanbase at /r/dota2circlejerk (hereafter referred to as /d2cj/ because that place was basically a mini 4chan). While a few people with many alt accounts harassed him, most /d2cj/ users didn't and just enjoyed his posts from afar. But that didn't matter because due to all the alt accounts he thought /d2cj/ was basically 99% dancat-hate and harass. He even started flaming normal /r/dota2 users with "You used 'fam' so you must be from that cancerous place /d2cj/, stop harassing me you fucking retards" just because they disagreed with dancat. Yes, this "fam" thing actually happened.

  8. A lot of people were also sick of his virtue signaling. He kept trying to sound like an overall nice and righteous person. While his actions may have been sincere, this didn't change the fact that he also acted like an ass. There was also his humblebrag about his MMR. Whenever he dropped to 4K, he declined to call his MMR "4K" because "he would raise back to 5K anyway" or something.
  9.
  10. Anyway, one day he got banned from one of his most active subreddits /r/learndota2. The mod who banned him happened to have an unrelated post on /r/dota2 frontpage, where dancat lost his shit. He kept threatening and swearing at the the OP (/r/learndota2 mod). The OP also said that he received various PMs from dancat where he said that he would beat the shit out of him because he is a national representative in international Judo tournaments and shit. Basically dancat threw his mental feces at the OP because he was so fucking mad. "I know you sucked many cocks to get that mod status you bitch", dancat claimed.
  11.
  12. He got banned from /r/dota2 for a month. After that he tweeted "please ban me permanently. exam stress is getting to my nerves and reddit isn't helping" or someshit. He stopped using reddit... for around either a week or a month I think. When he came back /d2cj/, again, lost its shit on how funny the whole shit was. Dancat ended up deleting his account and went missing for around a month I think. /d2cj/ mods ended up stickying a post saying "Stop spreading personal info on 'specific' users", because apparently there were doxxing attempts though I hadn't seen any (at that time). During that month a /d2cj/ poster posted about a nightmare he had on Dota 2 Free Talk Fridays; a nightmare where he would want to kill himself or something "even though he had a happy life". Dancat made a throwaway account and told him "so this is why u harass dancat; ur unhappy. kill yourself then retard". We known this because this user made a post on /d2cj/ about this, where dancat showed up with another throwaway and said "it wasn't me, stop impersonating me". Literally hours later he admitted it was him and apologized.
  13.
  14. Anyways, he disappeared for another fucking month IIRC. He came back for a good reason because someone was impersonating him on Steam and had doxxed him on /d2cj/ (which was removed by mods). After that he went missing for good. He makes a single post every 2 or 3 months or so on his new account /dancatpro_DOTA but thats it. He also deletes his posts after a while.

  20. TLDR: /u/dancatpro's tale
  21. He was often aggressive towards other users who disagreed with him. He claimed he had autism for a year, then suddenly he started flaming the fuck out of anyone who mentioned his autism because it turned out to be false. He also made weekly posts on his "shitty foreigner teammates".
  22. All this got him a lot of attention. He grew a 4chan-esque fanbase which had some specific couple of people that harassed him through multiple accounts.
  23. One day he got banned from /r/learndota2. On /r/dota2, he said very very very mean things about the mod who banned him, because he loved that sub and thought his ban was unjustified. After that he got banned from /r/dota2 for a month. He said he would quit reddit, and told mods to ban him forever (they didn't).
  24. He came back after 7 to 30 days, can't remember. He then deleted his account due to his annoying fanbase. He created another account a month later, and said mean things about his "fans". Then he apologized and said he would never come back, and deleted that account. After a month he was doxxed and impersonated by one of his specific fans. He resolved the issue with his final account /u/dancatpro_DOTA. That's his final account where he makes a comment/post every few months and then deletes it.
