  1. Hello, I am contacting you because someone under the ip address of 71.196.87.120 has some how gained root access to my server.
  2. Not only did he do that but it looks as if that ip downloaded a large database from my website. This database not only includes hundreds of thousands of emails, usernames, and passwords. But in some cases, the users have saved credit cards on there accounts. Which would be in the sql database.
  3. I've changed my password on the virtual private server I use for my website, and did a virus scan with AVG antivirus and found I was infected with three different viruses. I wouldn't be surprised if the person with that ip had some sort of botnet that had infected my computer.
  4. Now not only did the person under the ip address of 71.196.87.120 do that, but he also went and tried to set up a game server with my vps. He went by the name CallMeKurtis. Which I'm assuming his first name is Kurtis or Curtis.
  5. I'm ready to contact the authority's about this but I don't have enough information on this person. I'm hoping I can get some sort of information on this person from his isp which happens to be Comcast. If I'm not able to get any information from comcast, I'll just send this information over to ic3 and the fbi and hopefully they can find something out. But I hope you check out this user and make sure he doesn't have any botnet or anything of that nature.

  7. Just so you know I'm not lying about any of this, My servers IP address is 50.7.246.50 and I'm sure you can check out what this person has recently connected to. They connected first threw ssh and after that connected threw ftp.
  8.
  9. If you need any more information just let me know.
  10.
  11. -Thanks
  12.
  13. Note: I couldn't find a email for Comcast administration so I emailed the three emails I assumed would belong to someone in power there.
