  4. Solve the problem-solving problems (interview questions with some solution designs) - e.g. Design an elevator or a parking lot which you need to approach from a PM role. Steps -
  5. * Take a step back and pause
  6. * Understand the goal
  7. * Check limits and boundaries
  8. * Innovation aspect of solution. Suggest something that is impactful. Something that is no 1 thing to fix in existing solutions.
  9. * Tell me a million $$ product idea which improves the platform/problem statement.
  10. * Strategies to improve engagement/impact.
  11. To be, or not to be Analytical - e.g. How many people are sleeping in the world right now.
  12. * This is to gauge your problem solving skill and approach, NOT THE ANSWER
  13. * Make and declare assumptions. E.g. avg person sleeps 8hrs, from 10pm to 6am
  14. * Use logic, if its 3pm, its 7pm to bedtime
  15. * Use knowledge, its 3pm in NYC, 7hr time diff is Middle East; add 8hr more and it takes you to New Zealand

  18. Situational Question (Once upon a time) - To gauge soft skills
  19. * Tell me about a time you had disagreement with a peer or how you manage a cross-functional project
  20. * Read about situational interview questions, answer from experience, don't makeup scenarios
  21. Questions that you should ask the interviewer
  22. * Ask intelligent questions that showcases your critical thinking and interest in interviewer's product/platform/program
  23. * Ask about product roadmap, ask about your role in the company and career growth.
