BACKGROUND:
Rei Tamaki has a vendetta against her parents. While her childhood with them was great, living with the two in Yokohama, it didn't carry through into her pre-teen years. They left her to travel the world once she turned 13. She was sent to an international boarding school in China, where she studied for three years. Due to it being an international school, she picked up Chinese and English from her fellow students while living there. She was always a social kid, so making friends wasn't hard but she often found herself getting into fights a lot over the "dumbest shit" as she put it. Rei started taking kick boxing lessons outside of school for "self defense" but actually used it for her casual fights at school. Through that, Rei made her way up the school food chain and found herself as the resident bad bitch of the school; a title her peers bestowed upon her.
At the age of 16, she was sent to Korea to study (where she learned Korean) because her parents wanted her to finish her education where they went to school. The change of pace compared to her old school led her to picking up her smoking habit. It was then and there where she stopped caring about something she thought mattered so much - other people's opinions. Rei then evolved into the bold as fuck girl she is now and doesn't regret a thing.

The lit cigarette that hung from Rei's month brought a smile to her face. Every time she took a pull, the end would glow orange, helping calm the adrenaline that was previously pumping through her veins.

Five minutes ago, she had gotten herself into a small squabble with the cashier at her local convenience store over the newly raised prices. It ended quite well, she walked out with a plastic bag filled with smokes, a lighter, a box of cereal and band-aids; which she got for free. While he remained inside, bleeding all over the counter from a busted lip.

Bermuda Triangle by ZICO blared through her ear buds on her walk back to her home. She held her head high and side eyed the two boys, who were checking her out, that she was about to pass. Rei purposely slowed her pace to lengthen the amount of time they had their eyes on her. Tossing her long hair over her shoulder, she caught the eye of one of the boys and shot him a wink.

"I know that I'm hot and all but next time, you two should keep the starring to a minimum."
