Undernet Introduction (in a RPG/game)

Alex (leader of the RTI force, otherwise known as Restore The Internet): Oh, hello! What can I do for you?
[player asks about the underweb]
Alex: ...The...underweb? ...We don't discuss it much anymore, but I'll tell you how
it was made, and why it's so infamous.

Alex: Several years ago, a hacker of great intelligence hacked into the internet, and stole information from several top sites, banks, and other unknown places.
Alex: The hacker eventually partitioned the internet into another part, which he called...the Undernet.
Alex: The Undernet, back then, was a horrifying place. Terrifying images, viruses downloading onto your computer in seconds, and the home of several black markets.
Alex: It was a horrifying era, and everyone still fears it to this very day.
Alex: However, the Undernet was abandoned ages ago, and no one has ever gone back. Except us.
Alex: I created a mission, codename "HARD RESET", to take control of the undernet 5 years ago, to restore peace on the internet. However, several, and all of our attempts were unsuccessful.
Alex: Some unknown software killed the best of my men, and turned them into...its slaves.
Alex: The software would link into my crew, causing them to become corrupt and turn against me. The antiviruses and tools they used would become dangerous, and I had to run away as to not experience my own demise.
Alex: I still don't know how I've survived to this very day. But you...you seem like you might be able to take control and finally complete this once and for all.

Alex: After seeing your skills of counter attacking the hackers and removing viruses
from unprotected sites, I think your potential could be used to take control.
Sable (alex's secretary and top hacker): Boss? Are you sure he's ready? We haven't even told him about how the software ca- (was going to say can tear people limb from limb, and inject horrifying things into people)
Alex: Shush, Sable. He can learn how to beat that. I don't want to tell him about that fate, though, as I fear he wouldn't bother to help.
Alex: Either way, what do you say, [player's name]? Are you ready to experience the worst and defeat it?
[player accepts]
Alex: That's the spirit! Head over to the intelligence room, I'll brief you with more there.
[player declines]
Alex: ...?!
Alex: Ehh?! Why not?! This is one of our biggest assignments and you DECLINE IT?!
Alex: Let me ask you again: Do you want to do this assignment? If you don't, I will
make it certain I tell everyone about your dark past...
Sable: Dark past?
Alex: Oh, nothing.
[player still declines]
Alex: That's not what I want to hear.
Alex: Say that again?
Alex: I'm sorry, I think you misspoke.
