The wooded walkway curves gently as it skirts around a beautiful star
construct set in the middle of a grassy knoll. Glorious in its magnitude, the
star rises to rival the tallest trees in the forest and is bathed in a glow of
cosmic silver. Etched silver spheres of an unknown alloy form a perimeter
around the star but open up to introduce a pathway from the road that leads to
an obelisk set before the star.

This wondrous creation in the shape of a star easily rises to at least a
hundred feet in the air. Silver, green and blue flowers intertwine throughout
it in an explosion of vibrant color.

 The obelisk begins to glow as Vehk places a
     hand on the obelisk and activates ancient powers.

     Energy coelesces within the obelisk and then spreads
     forth above the natural star in a holographic image
     of a galaxy with stars spinning in a natural order.

The image centers around a singular star and near it
     a planet of wondrous beauty. As the planet spins
     closer and closer, you see mountains, oceans, and
     majestic forests filled with all manner of trees
     and beautiful growth.

     The audacity of the sheer serenity is mind boggling
     as you have never in your life experienced such a
     singularity of perfect balance in nature.

As the image draws nearer, you fly as if on eagle's
     wings across a landscape of beauty and peace. The
     peoples you see below are strangely clothed in a
     fashion that mystifies as it is obvious that these
     are a race advanced far beyond Ateraan.

     As you travel you see cities immense in size and with
     them, items of might and power of which you cannot
     comprehend.

As you seem to travel the world over, time passes and
     the natural beauty of the planet fades as wars erupt
     from place to place, city to city.

     The land is poisoned during the struggles and the colors
     fade to shades of grey while deep in a southern corner
     beings of strange powers from an alternate dimension
     enter the world during this time of struggle.

A call goes out from all nations and peoples as the
     realization of destruction becomes apparent.

     You fly north and in your flight you see a gathering
     of druidic followers surrounding a place of odd
     construction.

Your journey continues and you slow in perceptual
     movement above a mighty citadel that appears to be
     created from the very fabric of nature.

     Greens, yellows, blues, and reds, mix with the colors
     of white and brown in an epic visage of panoramic
     artistry embedded into the very stones of the
     mighty structure.

You drop down to the top of the building and pass
     through the ceiling as if in spirit form.

     Hovering nearly thirty feet above the floor of a
     grand conference room, you watch as several beings
     of respectable arts gather in what appears to be
     a meeting of grave import.

     As you stop in your movement you hear the words
     of the leader of this group.

The leader is of grave countenance as he places
     a hand on a young acolyte at his side.

     "Erelak, the youngest of our order, will go forth
     to that world far from us. As aided by the Oracle
     of Worlds, he shall be keeper of our Tablets."

     "We may perish in the battle to come, but he will
     bring knowledge of our failure to others of our
     order and with that knowledge...hope."

 In a flash of light, the young acolyte dissolves and
     you speed along a reverse course next to the form of
     Erelak on course through the galaxy amidst stars and
     worlds.

     As the image returns to this place the transparent
     visual of Erelak turns to you and he opens a cloth
     binding.

     Slowly the hologram focuses on what is in the binding
     and soon you see tablets as they appear before you.

  |||| We have heard of the beauty of Ateraan. Stories ||||
  |||| of ages past, passed down through our order of  ||||
  |||| how healthy and lush Teciann once was.          ||||

  |||| We have been given visions of her former        ||||
  |||| splendor and we strove to bring her back to     ||||
  |||| the heights of her glory but it was not to be.  ||||
  |||| For we, the protectors of Teciann became lost   ||||
  |||| on our Path. We forgot what was important,      ||||
  |||| what was vital. Do not make the same mistake.   ||||

  |||| Our purpose was to protect Teciann and all of   ||||
  |||| her wonderous gifts. Along the way we became    ||||
  |||| distracted. We were pulled into the battle      ||||
  |||| between the Dark and the Light. Long ago our    ||||

  |||| cosmic battle was important. Swept up in the    ||||
  |||| chaos of the cycle of their struggle our energy ||||
  |||| was diverted from that which was dearest to our ||||
  |||| souls, Teciann. We used her power to aid us,    ||||

  |||| out into the natural realm. Slowly the power of ||||
  |||| Teciann was taken. She was stripped. She was    ||||
  |||| used, and we were too blind to see.             ||||

  |||| steadfast in our purpose we may have noticed    ||||

  |||| final rest of Teciann. In the end, her weakness ||||
  |||| did not come from the battle of the Gods, but   ||||
  |||| from the abuse of mortal kind.                  ||||

  |||| As she grew weaker from being used, a dreadful  ||||
  |||| thing happened. The veil between Teciann and a  ||||
  |||| a most horrible plane of existence grew thin.   ||||
  |||| From that plane, creatures of a foul and        ||||
  |||| horrific aspect began to encroach upon our      ||||
  |||| realm.                                          ||||

  |||| At first only a few of the more powerful and    ||||
  |||| destructive minions came through the weakened   ||||
  |||| veil. But as they set up a stronghold, hundreds ||||
  |||| then thousands of their brethren, beings        ||||
  |||| of nightmarish depiction waged war upon us.     ||||

  |||| We fought and struggled against them, but it    ||||
  |||| was soon clear that the battle was in vain, for ||||
  |||| our mother planet, Teciann did not have the     ||||
  |||| power left in her to provide us with the means  ||||
  |||| to banish these monstrous enemies.              ||||
