Autumn was exhausted - she'd known that college would be difficult, but it had been several sleepless nights as she crammed last bits of knowledge for her exams, she could cry with relief now that she was finally done with them. A few weeks of peace before the next semester started - what better way to celebrate than indulging herself with a new book?

The local bookstore always had a good selection, with newest releases and vintage finds, so she was certain that she'd find something interesting. Normally, she'd go to the library as books could get expensive and she was the stereotypical broke college student, but she could treat herself every now and then.

An odd feeling filled her chest as she wandered the aisles, hairs on the back of her neck rising like she was being watched. The lack of sleep was messing with her head. Sighing, she shook her head to clear her thoughts before her eyes landed on a book. Based off of King Arthur, that seemed like a perfect pick. Her hand reached out and she stood on her toes, straining to reach for the book when she lost her balance and stumbled back into someone nearby.

"Oh, gosh, I'm so sorry," Autumn apologized, cheeks flaring red with embarrassment, "are you okay?"
