Info: It's you! You're a rather business-minded pony with sharp wits or at least so you keep telling yourself. Your father was a jerk who ran off on your mum, but that doesn't stop you from trying to profit from what he left behind. You're still not sure if you're just a magnet for the weird or everyone and everything in Ponyville is insane. You have an older brother in the Royal Guard, and a younger sister living back in Manehattan.


Name: Wispy Winds

Appearance: Wispy looks like most changelings do, black and bug-like, except being rather pint-sized.
Info: A seemingly abandoned changeling you found squatting in your inn. Young and enthusiastic, she appears to be willing to work at the inn in exchange for room and board. She had a falling out with her hive due to her differing opinions and desire to live alongside ponies rather than prey upon them.


Name: Azura Ice
Race: Unicorn, female
Profession: Member of the Adventurer's Guild
Appearance: A slender mare with a pale blue coat and a pink. She has an ice crystal for a cutie mark. Often wearing robes and light armour.
Info: A boisterous and over-bearing unicorn and self-proclaimed master of the arcane arts. She works as a freelance adventurer, doing whatever odd jobs she can for bits. She's currently hunting changelings. Afraid of spiders. Says she's out to prove her worth as an adventurer, both to others and to herself. This drive can occasionally override her better judgement.


Name: Birchwood
Race: Earth Pony, Male
Profession: Carpenter
Appearance: An incredibly large stallion with an ashen gray coat. You did not know they made ponies his size. His cutie mark is a log of a birch wood with a wood axe.
Info: Owner of Birchwood & Sons, the primary source of carpentry and renovations in Ponyville. Has apparently cornered the market in the town. Speaks slowly but loudly.


Name: Rowanwood
Race: Earth Pony, Male
Profession: Apprentice Carpenter
Appearance: Large and burly like his father, but with a very shaggy made and darker coat. His cutie mark is a hammer and saw.
Info: One of Birchwood's son, he possesses a somewhat carefree and lazy attitude. Works hard when he gets off his butt. May or may not be in a relationship with a sheep.


Name: Lawyer Spider
Race: Star Spider (may have been mutated or altered by magic)
Profession: Attorney-at-Law
Appearance: A star spider of significant size, measuring almost a foot across when including legs. Often wears a stovetop hat and a necktie.
Info: Surprisingly polite and well-educated. Willing to work for large insects or small rodents.


Name: Sundance
Race: Pegasus, Female
Profession: Member of the Adventurer's Guild
Appearance: A powerfully-build pegasus routinely seen clad in heavy armour. Underneath it is a pure white pony who's body is marred by numerous scars, including several 'slave brands.' She frequently wears a mask to hide the scar on her face. Also missing her right wing.
Info: One of the most well-known and respected members of Ponyville's Adventurer's Guild, Sundance is feared by both enemies and friends for her powerful stature, blunt attitude, and callous disregard for the sanctity of life. Apparently strong enough to leave a head-shaped dent in solid oak. Do not compliment her hindquarter. She also possesses a talent for interior decorating using pony entrails. A former soldier of the Gryphon Imperial Army and a slave of the Wildlands.


Name: Honey Belle
Race: Earth Pony, Female
Profession: Mead Maker
Appearance: A short-statured mare of amber and yellow hues. Doesn't seem to smile too much. Her cutie mark is a honey dipper.
Info: The brains and drive between the Sweet Honey Meadery. A straight-forward, all-business pony with enough ambition and intelligence to give any pony a run for their money. She can be rather blunt and critical. Is currently not speaking with her younger sister, Honey Oats, due to matters relating to Honey Belle's late husband.


Name: Honey Oats
Race: Earth Pony, Female
Profession: Parttime Farmer, Fulltime Mom
Appearance: A slender mare with a sweet smile, and pale yellow mane and coat. Her cutie mark is several grains of oat surrounded by a honey drop.
Info: The youngest of the Honey children, Honey Oats seems to be living in self-imposed exile on a farm in Ponyville. Very quiet and soft-spoken, and apparently carrying a lot of guilt over something that happened between her and her sister, Belle. She has a son, Honeycomb, whom she cares about more than life itself.


Name: Honey Mead
Race: Earth Pony, male
Profession: Mead Maker/Drinker
Appearance: A stocky stallion with a messy mane and constant stubble. His cutie mark is a glass of mead.
Info: The eldest of the Honey siblings. Is described by both of his sisters as being a bit on the slow side, but he knows his brews better than anyone.

Name; Goldbeak
Race: Gryphon, male
Profession: Butcher
Appearance: A heavy-set gryphon, both tall and wide, with dark fur and feathers, and the namesake golden beak that runs in his family. He's always seen with a smile on his face. His work usually leaves him a little blood-stained, too. Try not to fret over it.
Info: This jubilant, food-loving gryphon runs the only butcher's shop in Ponyville, the 'Bird of Prey Meats.' He's something of a community leader for the gryphons of Ponyville, well-respected and adored and not just for his delicious meats.


Name: Satin Sash
Race: Unicorn, male
Profession: Tailor
Appearance: A slender but well-groomed stallion, always adorned in expensive clothes. His cutie mark is a white ribbon.
Info: The owner of the Satin Stallion, one of the best tailor shops in all of Ponyville. One of the few individuals talented and willing enough to work with spider silk. Might be a bit flamboyant.


Name: Valiant Heart
Race: Pegasus, male
Profession: Royal Guard Liaison, Headmaster of the Adventurer's Guild Ponyville Chapter
Appearance: A brown and white pegasus of average build with a well-groomed mustache. Cutie mark is a Heart overlaying a pair of swords
Info: The pony responsible for maintaining and overseeing the Ponyville chapter of the Adventurer's Guild. An officer who seems more interested in advancing his own career and politics than the actual nuances of operating the guild. A very 'by the book' officer with a low opinion on adventurers.


Name: Aegis Heart
Race: Pegasus, male
Profession: Royal Guard Liaison,
Appearance: Like much of the Heart family, Aegis is a mottled brown and white pony. He bares a strong resemblance to his brother, Valiant, though he possesses a slightly larger build and a smaller moustache. His cutie mark is a heart overlaying a shield.
Info: Captain Aegis Heart commands the guard garrison, which consists of both Town Guards and Royal Guards. Despite his boisterous nature, he tends to dislike the nitty, gritty parts that come with military work. He has a low opinion of adventurers, considering them little more than cheap, expendable bodies to deal with things beneath his station.


Name: Doctor Steady Heart
Race: Unicorn, Male
Profession: Physician, Royal Guard
Appearance: The odd-pony out of the Heart family as he's one of the few unicorns of the clan. He possesses the same style of brown and white patterning and a glorious moustache upon his face. His cutie mark is a heart with a band-aid across it.
Info: A brother of Valiant and Aegis Heart, Steady went the medical route instead of pure military. He’s still considered a member of the Royal Guard, though lately he has opened his services to all in Ponyville rather than focusing on just the guards and adventurers. Like his brothers, he’s very ‘by the book’ and pragmatic. Honest, but a bit on the distant side.


Name: Aireanna Steelfeather
Race: Gryphon, female
Profession: Unknown
Appearance: A young gryphon often seen in light armour and carrying a spear. Her family line is noted for their silver-edged feathers that serves as the basis of the family's name.
Info: Known for her wanderlust and perpetual optimism, Aireanna (or Airy as she is often called) explores the lands in search of fun and excitement. She'll crack a joke at any opportunity, and hates to see her friends upset. Her inability to take anything seriously sometimes grates on others, and her aloof nature makes it hard for others to trust her. Like many gryphons, she loves long debates, pretentious titles, and scones.


Name: Berry, aka Gramps
Race: Changeling, male
Profession: Scout, Hive Guardian
Appearance: An aged changeling, he's markedly larger than most due to his more militant life in the changeling hive. His common disguise is a blue-toned pegasus.
Info: A stern and taciturn changeling, Berry has long served as his Hive's eyes to the outside world. He's used to operating on his own or using his physical strength to protect his fellow changelings. He's not much of a hunter, so life as a hive-less changeling has been very difficult for him. Nonetheless, he cares deeply for the welfare of his race, and seeks to build them a better future.


Name: Spectral Prism
Race: Unicorn, male
Profession: Eccentric Wizard
Appearance: An average-sized unicorn, albeit with quite a sizable horn. His coat is an off-white, but his mane possesses a pearlescent quality to it, shimmering in rainbow shades that change depending on angle you're looking at him. His cutie mark is a prism with a rainbow coming out of it.
Info: One of Ponyville's most controversial residents, most either love him or hate him with little in-between. He's an eccentric pony with a flair for theatrics and a love for pranks, but at the same time he is an undisputed master of the arcane arts and is recognized for saving both Ponyville and Equestria in the past. He spends most of his time experimenting at his estate, creating all manners of bizarre trinkets and creatures. Most tend to be harmless...


Name: Sugar Song
Race: Earth pony, female
Profession: Organizer, Fireworks/Explosives Aficionado
Appearance: A mare known for her bright smile and big curly mane. Short-statured but a bit on the heavy-set side, though you're not sure if that's muscle or just enjoying one too many cakes. Her cutie mark is a fireworks explosion.
Info: If it makes lots of noise and causes the earth to shake, Sugar Song loves it. When she's not running the fireworks shop in Ponyville, she's organizing parties and festivals as they always give her an excuse to test her newest products. Outgoing and always to-the-point, she lives by the mantra of 'live fast, party hard, and leave a huge smoking crater.'


Name: Longshot
Race: Unicorn, male
Profession: Member of the Adventurer's Guild
Appearance: A wirey-looking stallion with a brown coat and green mane, which is surprisingly well-groomed despite the rest of his usually messy mannerisms. He's often seen wearing light leathers and carrying his trust crossbow.
Info: A quick-talking rogue with remarkable accuracy with both words and weaponry. He's known for always speaking from the heart and never wavering from his contracts. He has a reputation for being a stickler over his bits. Along with Sundance, he's one of the veteran members of the guild.


Name: Rough Diamond
Race: Earth pony, male
Profession: Miner
Appearance: Average-sized, but well built thanks to his years handling a pick axe. It's not uncommon to see him coated in rock dust, which sullies his pale blue coat and white mane. Mining tends to leave little time for personal grooming, so he's often a mess.
Info: Known for his silver-tongued charm, Rough Diamond is known for chasing mares and hunting precious jewels. The type of pony who's willing to sit down and have a drink with anybody, and never hesitates to share his good fortunes with others. Though not the smartest pony in the world, he knows his minerals and ores. He has a younger brother, Bright Jewel, that he's dead-set on ensuring gets a good education.


Name: Bright Jewel
Race: Earth pony, male
Profession: Student
Appearance: A young colt with a typical scrawny look to him. He looks like a smaller version of his older brother, though his coat is a bit darker, and his mane has a silvery tint to it. Wears glasses and is often nose-first in a book.
Info: A very quiet, studious pony who loves reading and learning about nature, along with almost any other curiosity that passes by him.


Name: Qasim Longtail
Race: Gryphon, male
Profession: Physician/Surgeon
Appearance: An aged gryphon with a brown coat and darker feathers, giving him a lion-like appearance. He's missing his rear right leg and has a brass and wood prosthetic in its place.
Info: A veteran of the gryphon Imperial Army, Longtail has been to many places and seen many things, but he left the army after the massacre at Zebrandlwana, where he lost his leg. He eventually found his way to Ponyville and fell in love with a unicorn, Splendid Night. He helps tend to the sick and wounded, though most ponies aren't used to non-magical means of treatment.


Name: Ember, real name unknown
Race: Demon-pony, former Balrog, female
Profession: Destroyer of Civilizations
Appearance: At the moment, thanks to a poison-joke infused mead, appears as a cross between a demon and an earth pony. Her coat has a burning charcoal-like appearance, and her mane is a cloud of smoke and shadows. Has a cutie mark of a large flame.
Info: A former balrog, she has been bound to the form of an earth pony as a result of a ritual by Spectral Prism. She is understandably pissed about her current situation, but the current threat of being sent back to Tartarus in her current form is keeping her docile...for now. Could use some anger management courses.


Name: Sunlight Meadows
Race: Unicorn, female
Profession: Agent of the Royal Court
Appearance: An eloquently dressed unicorn with a light pink coat, and a darker pink mane. Often wearing expensive clothing and fancy jewelry, denoting a high-society upbringing. She has a sun-shaped cutie mark.
Info: An adventurous and flirty unicorn, Sunlight dreams of exploring the world at large. She hails from Canterlot and is currently travelling with her friend, Crystal Rose. Or at least that's what she claimed before revealing that she's an agent of the Royal Court. Beneath the smile and flirty eyes is a mare who is borderline ruthless in her mission to protect Equestria. But you did get to have sex with her...so you have that going for you, which is nice.


Name: Crystal Rose
Race: Crystal pony, male
Profession: Traveller?
Appearance: As a crystal pony, his vibrant red coat sparkles in the light in a manner reminiscent of a ruby. His well-groomed orange mane and posh clothing suggests an upper-class upbringing. Despite a somewhat effeminate build, he is a stallion.
Info: A pony often described by his friend, Sunlight, as a 'stick in the mud,' he's what many ponies expect from a Canterlot elite - snobbish, spoiled, and self-centered. He tries to keep to himself, but his prudish nature and easily-flustered nerves often results in him making a scene when things get difficult. Given the work that Sunlight Meadows does, you can't help but wonder if he's not who he claims to be either...


Name: White Wine
Race: Unicorn, female
Profession: Wine Maker
Appearance: An eloquent young unicorn whose regular attire of fashionable attire and a finely-groomed mane clashes with her love for working with nature. She has a light green mane and a yellow coat, and a cutie mark of a bundle of grapes in a wine glass.
Info: Though White Wine hails from an established and well-off family, this adventurous and curious young mare has opted for life in Ponyville where things are anything but dull. Her biggest passion in life is wine, both the making and consuming of it. Some folks consider her a bit naive and sheltered, maybe a bit of a romantic idealist, but White Wine prefers to just think of herself as somepony who refuses to let the troubles of this world ruin her fun.


Name: August Longhorn
Race: Cow, female
Profession: Dairy Farmer
Appearance: As young bovine, she possesses a short and stocky build. She's primarily white with patches of light brown, and has stumpy horns on either side of her head (despite the Longhorn name). Fashion matters little to her, though she's well-known for the bell she wears around her neck.
Info: August is a cow who's never in a rush for anything. She's often described as an absolute sweetheart thanks to her kind and compassionate nature, but she's also a hard-working farmer. Like many cows, she's easily startled by loud and sudden noises, and would much rather avoid confrontation with others. Most don't realize that August is also quite intelligent, having helped design and build most of the milking machines used at her farm.


Name: Tex Longhorn
Race: Minotaur, male
Profession: Dairy Farmer
Appearance: Compared to ponies, he's a huge towering monstrosity of muscle wrapped in dark brown fur. In truth, he's pretty runty for a minotaur, but nobody really thinks that. Noted for having a large brass nose ring.
Info: Brother to August Longhorn, he helps run the family business. While he lacks his sister's intelligence, he more than makes up for it with his strength and stamina to do the multitude of jobs that the farm needs. He's a bit quick-tempered, unfortunately, but his loud and boisterous nature is just how he shares his happiness with others.


Name: Cutie Swirl
Race: Pegasus, male
Profession: Baker
Appearance: At first glance, anypony would think Cutie Swirl is a mare with a limber frame and delicate features, but Cutie insist he's a stallion through and through. He has a pale brown coat, and a curly mane consisting of mixed shades of brown giving it a cinnamon-bun like appearance. Cutie mark is a round loaf of bread.
Info: Cutie Swirl has long since gotten used to be being mistaken for a mare wherever he goes, and despite all this he doesn't seem to do much to prevent this from happening. Perhaps a part of him enjoys the attention since being a shy and soft-spoken baker doesn't garner much attention from others. He works at the bakery with his mother, Cinnamon Swirl.


Name:  Sir Tommaso Emmanuel di Mercurio the Gray, aka 'Tom'
Race: Sphynx, Male
Profession: Leader of the Cat Burglars
Appearance: A member of the sphynx race, Tom is a half-cat, half-pony hybrid. His feline heritage bears a strong resemblance to a Gray tabbycat.
Info: How Tom became leader of the Cat Burglars is anypony's guess, but regardless he takes great pride in his work as leader of his tribe, as well as enjoying the perks of it. He does care deeply for the well-being of his people, though sphynx customs and traditions make it hard for him to adapt or change their ways. He is clever, but lazy, which at least means he'll usually find the easiest way to accomplish any task at hand.


Name: Othniel the Ninelives, aka 'Neil'
Race: Sphynx, Male
Profession: Vagrant, Thief
Appearance: Unlike most sphynx, Neil's pony-heritage carried with it the wings of a pegasus, granting him the unique gift of flight. Sadly, flying is a lot of work so he tends not to make too much use of his wings. His feline-heritage gives him a red-brown coat with a soft white underbelly - just don't rub it.
Info: Like many sphynx, Neil is fickle and aloof. His concerns mostly revolve around his own needs, and he tends to think little else of others unless it benefits him. Still, he's not a bad person...he's just a product of his tribe's customs and traditions. He is a curious one, however, and likes to explore outside the safety of his tribe. Pony culture is quite fascinating to him, and it's ladies even moreso.


Name: Dragon Skull Thrice Impaled
Race: Earth Pony, male
Profession: Barbarian, Mercenary
Appearance: Underneath the furs, leather hides, and bone-like armour, is a powerfully built stallion. He possesses a dull brown coat and grayish mane, typical given that the ponies of the northlands have never been known to be a colourful type. His namesake comes from the dragon skull helmet that he wears, along with an assortment of other trophies in the form of bones, jewels, and trinkets.
Info: Despite hailing from the harsh, nomadic tribes of the frozen northlands, Dragon Skull is extremely well-spoken and educated. He owes that to a Trottingham scholar who spent time at his tribe, teaching much to the young barbarian. As such, he has great respect for both the physically strong and the well-educated. He travels Equestria working as a mercenary, where he's able to apply his people's traditions of brutal and bloodthirsty combat.


Name: Silver Ingot
Race: Pegasus, Female
Profession: Blacksmith
Appearance: A small-statured pegasus with a silvery mane (often tied into a ponytail) and an off-white coat. Her cutie mark is an anvil with a silver bar upon it. She's usually coated in charcoal dust and grease.
Info: Silver Ingot is Ponyville's resident blacksmith, and sadly a crass and irritable pony to deal with. She has little patience for idiocy, and sadly considers a lot of ponies to be idiots. She's quite obsessive about her work and is a workaholic perfectionist. Supposedly she used to run a very successful business back in Canterlot, but a scandal resulted in her being ostracized from high society and forced her to relocated to Ponyville. That just made her even more bitter.
