- Policeman – Extensions not already included in the TBP are usually kinda despised,

- Anyway, I strongly suggest Policeman

- and its Tor Isolation feature (putting that rule on top or right below
- the default top rule)
- Cross-site requests made from .onion to a clearnet site (even for
- seemingly innocent requests) can allow a LEA adversary controlling some
- exit nodes to correlate the traffic a bit easier.
- Even fullchan is not entirely 100% clearnet free. gsspcln.jp (ad circuit),
- imgur/img.youtube.com requests (i.e. the Board owner has crafted a custom
- CSS linking clearnet resources) and so on.

- Tor:

- Run tor use: sudo -u tor /usr/bin/tor

- Check if tor works correct: https://torcheck.xenobite.eu/
- http://5deqglhxcoy3gbx6.onion/
- Manual: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Tor
- To use a program over tor, configure it to use 127.0.0.1 or localhost as a
- SOCKS5 proxy, with port 9050 (plain tor with standard settings). To check if Tor
- is functioning properly visit the Tor, Harvard or Xenobite.eu websites.
- http://oxwugzccvk3dk6tj.onion/polk/res/27920.html#27920
- Ok then, here is some instructions to save your ass from "some" survalience.
- First download TOR and obfs4 https://archive.fo/rmBjJ via your favorite
- package manager if *nix along with either http://palemoon.org/ or
- https://www.gnu.org/software/gnuzilla/ icecat. Or if stupid enough to use
- windows then download the whole browser bundel here
- https://www.torproject.org/download/download-easy.html.en .
- The TOR browser has backdoors in the javascript parser built in by default.
- So use noscript to turn off javascript if forced to use the TOR browser.
- Otherwise under *nix it is best to direct all traffic to tor and use a
- different browser while using it. Then to turn it off when not using it.
- To use TOR undetected the best way is over a proxy/bridge and a pluggable
- transport/https that makes your internet connection look like it is
- always using https no matter what program you use. See
- https://archive.fo/aKXLK for instructions on windows and how to get
- access to bridges.
- On *nix here is a default /etc/tor/torrc for bridge/pluggable transport
- or proxy/https support.
- #
- # Minimal torrc so tor will work out of the box
- #
- User tor
- Log debug file /var/log/tor/tor-debug.log
- SocksPort 9050
- DNSPort 5353
- TransPort 9040
- DataDirectory /var/lib/tor/data
- #HashedControlPassword (insert one you create here)
- #### Remove "#" to use Bridge obfuscation proxy
- #UseBridges 1
- #ClientTransportPlugin obfs4 exec /usr/bin/obfs4proxy
- ####Format for bridge
- ####Bridge (protocol) (ip:port) (unique key)
- ####Bridge obfs4 0.0.0.0:00000 00000000000000000000000000000000000000
- On linux here is a iptables for ipv4 setting to make all traffic go to the tor port.

- Don't use chrome or firefox. If you really want to use a chrome
- like browser use brave. But brave will leak information behind
- your TOR connection even if you use Ublock Origin. If you are using
- icecat or palemoon you need these plugins to obfuscate yourself:
- Canvas fingerprint blocker, masking agent, secret agent, and
- Ublock origin. Nice things to have are noscript, imageblock,
- js switch, decentraleyes, and https anywhere.

- Note that you need to configure these plugins. You also need
- to remember that doing all of this won't save you from "fonts",
- "navigator.audio", and "navigator.build ID" fingerprinting.
- But these don't give away your IP, just some information about
- your session and they are not used much.
- The codekike has recommended deep packet inspector bypassers that
- do something similar to OBFS but as a standalone program that
- only works on port 80 for http/s traffic. It's located at
- https://archive.fo/wp9r7 https://github.com/ValdikSS/GoodbyeDPI
- for windows if you are foolish enought to use windows. While a
- linux standalone version is located at https://archive.fo/eAcHv
- https://github.com/bol-van/zapret .
- The windows DPI tool is near useless though. As it's only changing
- four variables of the packet at a consistent rate that would
- simply light you up like a candle for your traffic since it is
- unique. I don't know about the linux version as I can't speak
- russian, but I would recommend ToR OBFS bridges over either of these
- programs because OBFS has been tried and tested against the great
- firewall of china.
- The only use case I could see for these programs is if you are using
- a random wifi spot and just wanted to access http/s services without
- have TOR running in the background to bridge everything. If you used
- this from a location you paid for not in secret then you are lit like
- a candle because your traffic is very unique.
- TLDR; don't use GoodByeDPI unless desperate, use OBFS bridges via tor
- instead.
- Tor also has exploits built in by default. But it's mainly in the
- tor web browser and not the protocol's implementation itself. Sure
- you could save tor traffic for later decrypting. But the alphabet
- soups prefer to just MITM tor nodes or set up honeypot nodes where
- they can decrypt everything on the fly with several machines. This
- is why I recomended using a browser with the above plugins. You could
- make the browser with no (clearly as) many backdoors look exactly
- like the TOR browsers fingerprint. Except for navigator.build ID
- which should be the same since you would be using a mozilla based
- browser.
- I am not saying the tor protocol is good or perfectly secure. I am
- just saying the protocol's implementation is not backdoored as far
- as I know. If you have a five eye in the sky view you could still
- track specific users on TOR traffic, possibly. But it sure makes it
- way harder for (((them))) then just using plain https.
- Open about:config and search "dotonion". Toggle it.
- "network.proxy.socks_remote_dns"

- What is Millchan?
- A decentralized imageboard engine for ZeroNet.
- What is ZeroNet?
- A decentralized network that distributes content using the BitTorrent protocol.
- Millchan is being written using the Vue.js framework with the aim of being simultaneously reactive and safe (as feasibly possible).
- Things that have been implemented so far:
- -A system that allows board creation
- -An anonymous system similar to 0chan
- -Catalog
- -Upload of multiple images in a single post
- -Upload of mp4/webm
- -Text formatting
- -Basic moderation options (blacklist users/posts)
- -Allow users to ignore blacklist and render all posts
- Working instance:

- Zeronet? More like TrashNet.
- There are already plenty of very good systems. I2P (personal favorite), Freenet, GNUnet,
- and other odd things like Tahoe-LAFS, RetroShare, Bitmessage, IPFS, etc.
- At least with using something like Freenet/I2P/GNUnet you are safe(ish). Having to use
- Tor instead of some integrated thing is fucking retarded and the system is trash.
- Show me an imageboard on Freenet or one on I2P and I'll check it out. ZeroNet can go Africa.
- Speaking of nntpchan, how does that work? I've used the web interface 2hu-ch.org but can
- you forgo the existing web stuff entirely and just run a local nntp server like Leafnode
- (leafnode.sourceforge.net) and then read/post with any news client? (pine, tin, slrn, and such)
- I mean, how do you get an upstream link and setup authentication? That kind of stuff is
- automatic when you use Freenet and the other stuff. NNTPchan seems more static in nature,
- unless I missed something.
- Github is good for visibility but it's terrible for many other reasons.
- GitGud/Gitlab provides all the useful features from Github without all the restrictions and
- censorship shit that people have to accept to use the latter.
- If you're interested in contributing it shouldn't take more than five minutes to create an
- account there.
