  1. The laptop is named Jill, and its password is "hololens"
  2. When you unlock Jill, you should see two terminal windows already on the desktop
  3.
  4. On the first window:
  5. 1. The first one should be at the directory "~/lablight/acam/data/templates" If not, "cd" to it
  6. 2. Once there, do a "cp -f Demo/* ." to copy all the appropriate templates to this directory
  7.
  8. On the second terminal window:
  9. 1. it should be at "~/lablight/acam/build/release/bin"
  10. 2. Run the Acam software by typing into the command line: "./acam"
  11. 3. You'll see a video feed of the camera on a third window. Recognized objects will be labeled in this window.
  12.
  13. Ok, now that Jill is ready. Lets start HoloLens.
  14. 1. Put HoloLens on
  15. 2. If it's powered up, you should see the cursor following your head movement as you look across the room
  16. 3. Do the "tennis ball toss" to bring up the Start menu
  17. 4. Click on the Unity Logo, which looks like a 3D cube slightly rotated.
  18. 5. You will see a big giant white background window opened up, and then it goes away
  19. 6. You will see Unity splash screen, then an IAS Splash screen.
  20. 7. You will notice a red dot on the upper left of your vision. When that is on, go to the bench top and look at the ChARuCo grid while holding pretty steady. The HoloLens is aligning with the ChARuCO
  21. 8. You will be asked to "Tap to Place Procedural Guidance". Step back from the bench and airtap wherever you want the display to be, above the bench top is a good spot.
  22. 9. You will be given three choices, you want the "Genedrive Demo" Airtap it.
  23. 10. You should see the first of many protocol cards and some objects identified and annotated on the bench. You are all set to demo.
