Davina comes out from her room and heads down to the inn. Feeling beyond bored she decides to just clean and clean- singing to herself. (performance 18)
after just a little while she looks around and is happy enough with what shes done, deciding to go outside for some fresh air

And from the roof of the inn comes the young voice. "Oh hey, the nice angel." Foomp Lani shadowstepped down besides her walking along listening to her song, humming.

"YEEEEES! It'S great here. All the good food." Davina could tell that the boy looked a lot healthier compared to his scrawny self when they found him and his clothing also seem to have been fixed.

She smiles as she sees that hes doing much better here. "Yeah this place seems to suit you. Why do you go back to the shadowfell then?" Davina notices Jaiden, she keeps a close eye to see where he goes, still suspicious of him.

Jaiden takes notice of Davina, but spares only a glance before continuing on his way... He's not particularly fond of the constant stink-eye, and quite obviously she's not fond of him either.

Caught off guard, Jaiden jumps off the roof of the Gazebo, rolling as he hits the ground and drawing a hook-shaped knife of bone as he turns to face the person that appeared out of-

... It's just a child? Jaiden slowly sheaths the dagger, addressing the teleporting urchin.

"It's unwise to startle someone you don't know."

Fooomp and Lani was standing besides the poor lad that just jumped down the gazeebo offering a hand to help him up. "Unwise to jump from a roof when you just witnessed a potential enemy having no problem following you."

Ignoring the hand, Jaiden climbs back up perfectly fine by himself.

"What do you want, elfling?"
He notices Davina climbed up while he was on the ground, sighing quietly.

"Greetings to you as well, Davina," Jaiden states, somewhat insincerely.

"Just trying to make new friends!" With outstretched arms he did a spin continued by watching Jaiden climb up the gazeebo again, shrugging it off and shadowstepping up there again before him, making sure to sit down EXACTLY where Jaiden intended to climb up to be in the way.

Lani was playing with a dagger which looks very similar to the on Jaiden recently bought, infact when he checked . . IT was the dagger he recently bought. Lani must've swipped it from him somehow. "Haven't seen the moon and stars in EEEEEVVAAAA!"

"Looks like it was made from one of the sneaky pinchy guys in the shadowfell . ." And with that he squinted at Jaiden . . maybe, just MAYBE he was one of those imposter guys, he certainly looked familiar . . well not that he would know how he looks . . but he looks familiar hmmmmm. Contemplating he was juggling the dagger, which he still had as Jaiden realized. As he checked the one he just took back it seemed to be just a chicken bone with an illusion over it.

Lani pulls out a book from the his belt, looks very similar to the ones the keeper uses . . and J'mes to take notes . . and on closer inspections it IS a keepers book, probably vandalized. At least that'S how J'mes got his. Lani opened the first page, clears his throat and took a moment to look at the two, looking around to see if nobody is around and then leaned in closer . . and so did 3 other Lani's around Jaiden. "Here it comes, all the secrets . . First entry: Name - Phlar'lani. ."

He closed the book went back to sitting straight. "That's it, ain't got more written in there."

Jaiden remains silent for a noticably long time after hearing about Lani's... Well, former lack of identity.

"I'm sorry." Jaiden speaks softly, voice barely above a whisper. "Losing one's identity is..."

"..."

He stands up, reshouldering his backpack.

"Enjoy the stars and the sky, elfling. I wish you luck in regaining what you lost in full."

Jaiden walks over to the edge of the roof, and slides down the nearby pillar before beginning the walk back to his room.
