	The Great Wall in Beijing: The Great Wall of China is listed as one of the Eight Wonders of the World. It was built to keep invaders, such as the mongols, out, as well to retain the inhabitants. It traverses 5 providences, from the Shanhaiguan Pass in the east to Jiayuguan Pass in the west. In Beijing it is possible to climb a portion of the Great Wall of China.
