Hi all,
The problem this mail putsforth has already been in many a mail in the
last month or so.

When I came into this college, there was this introduction session for
freshers where the faculties were boasting of a very friendly and
efficient administrative mechanism. I now know exactly what they were
referring to.

Some administrative officer of IIIT told us that Rs 6 lakhs were spent to
'raise/repair the perimeter walls' of iiit.
I dont really care how this amount was spent. But there are no results.
who ever was assigned this task, I must say and am sorry to do so, has
done a really poor job. I cant understand how we can have dangerous dogs
wander around in campus so freely!!

Is the internal administrative framework of IIIT so fragile that it cant
solve such a simple issue??

And this is the situation after many mails regarding this were mailed.
Today, when i was playing at the basketball court, out of the blue, this
dog attacked/chased me. I still have the instance of the 'fear' that i had
while i was being chased.
When i shared my awesome experience with my friends, their response was..
'are you planning to send just another mail?','usse kya hi hoga...kuch
karte to hai nahi ye log..'
I simply cant understand, why in the first place, when a potentially
dangerous problem is put forth the first time, cant it be addressed??
It took many students replying to one students 'request' to get some
attention.
Are you all(administrators) waiting for some incident to happen before you
take action?? and you have these compulsory courses, namely HSS, politics
and what not!! unable to manage such simple campus issues...
