  1. AleXander17456: Luke: You can call me Luke, Now tell me do you have a place to stay? -He asked as he started to head to yet another elevator calling it, this one seems to not have any buttons like the wall did but still functioned as displayed by the numbers above the door showing it was moving it's way down, feeling her be ready to use her metal spikes if necessary he told her as he got in the elevator waiting for her to follow behind him.- Luke: I wouldn't try anything funny with those spikes of yours they'd never get close to me. -he said to her allowing her to take it whatever way she wanted- Luke: Do you have a place to stay somewhere to go?
  2.
  3. RinVonDolli: /me "Luke..." She tested his name. First Luke she had ran into. First time she ran into anyone other than police and her parents trying to take her back. She said caustiously. Her brow perched slightly when he suggested she not try anything funny. Her eyes narrow. Refusing to introduce herself for now. Her suspicions were correct. He was another form of Phsychic. At least that was what he was apearing to be. "Where have you taken me." She was compelled to follow. Didn't need to get locked inside a garage she didn't know the exit to just yet. She kept her focus on her spikes. It was a habit with new faces and different states and unfamiliar territory. She slipped into the other Elevator with him but never took her eyes off of him. "Been staying at the Hotal Plaza.. Not anymore though.."
  4.
  5. AleXander17456: Luke: Okay these are just getting annoying. -he said as he looked over to her and her metal spikes and with a squint of his eyes, he used his powers to magnetize them so even if she did shot them they would stick to the metal in the walls before even touching him already the magnetic pull was stroke and pointing her spikes outward- Luke: This is...Well, there's no real name for it, It's my base of operations. -he explained as the doors opened once again revealing his secret tech base, clearly having the entire city under watch, medical equipment and weights and what looked like a small living area but nothing as impressive as his massive supercomputer, just one of the little secrets he had hidden around here, he went over to a wall feeling around for something.- Luke: You have to get out of the city, not sure what kind of stuff is going on but the people that are after you, are powerful and have serious connections. You have to leave quickly.
  6.
  7. RinVonDolli: /me she listened to him, but when she felt a different hold on her spikes she sneered. "It's reasons like that i keep them ready.." she growled "Metal isn't the only thing i can use..It's just more durrable.." she explained while she took the straps off her arms and stuffed them into her backpack. She hugged her arms around her Doll and turned her eyes around the new room. She eyed the screens where the city was displayed and she saw the hotel and plaza she was staying. THe bridge they went across and the car's that had crashed during their persute. She still ached at the collison and she bite onto her bottom lip. "They really hate us.. don't they?" She questioned while her eyes slowly shifted towards Luke once more. "I don't know where else to go."
  8.
  9. AleXander17456: -Luke sighed hearing her and that sad truth the truth being- Luke: Yeah...They do. -he answered as he found a fingerprint scanner on the wall that opened a thick metal safe where he grabbed two stacks of a hundred dollar bills, and held them out to her- Luke: Look...This should be good enough to get you out of the city, I can get you some new clothes help change your look a bit give you a chance to get through the city hopefully unseen. or unnoticed. -He told her as he locked everything back up- Luke: For what it's worth I'm sorry it's like this and maybe one day...Our people won't have to fide anymore but for now, it's all we can do.
  10.
  11. RinVonDolli: /me She frowned softly "I see.." She said as he confirmed her fear. With a sigh it came to conclusion that her kind will never be accepted in society. She wanted to change that. she wanted to prove not all meta's were horrible creatures. When he offered her some cash she stepped back and glares "No.. No I'm done running.." She took in a deep breath "There isn't anyone in this world worse than my parents at this point.. If i get prooved wrong then so be it." She gripped her doll in her hand "We have every right to live as much as they do.. why are we the obsolete ones?!" her emotions were growing, her hair began to flutter while her anger continued to rise the dolls eyes began to glow with a light purple hue. It even giggled with a wicked snicker while it's head began to wiggle and it's arms began to flail. There was a faint ringing coming from the doll aside from it's eerie giggle. The doll squeeled with excitement but was followed by the sound of her Jaxon's painful grunt. A mechanism inside of the doll had recoiled her power back towards her as a warning to keep her emotions under control. She stumbled slightly, pressing her hand against her brow and grumbled."Right.. right keep it down.." She reminded herself. "Sorry.. Sorry.. But no I'm not running anymore.." She said more cool headedly.
  12.
  13. AleXander17456: -While very creeped out by her little doll and how it seemed to do all these things itself, Luke still kept his cool. Even though she had a point it still was only nice in thought.- Luke: Your right, You're absolutely right we deserve better. But there's nothing we can do, they'll always hunt us, They'll always hate us and the more we fight them the more they will fear us. We'd lose before we even get a real chance to do some good. -he crossed his arms after taking a seat at his computer- Luke: So tell me, you don't want to run and hide, you don't want to get captured what do you suggest we do?
  14.
  15. YsabeauCassamara: -Cassidy had left the coffee shop and taken a bus home, the bus had taken a detour due to some police activity. Looking down the street at the cruisers she couldnt see exactly what had occured. When she got home she hacked back into the police database to see what was up. Hmm a cruiser dash cam pic of a female they were in pursuit of. She wondered what she was wanted for as few details other than she got away was posted. She shrugged and went to close her laptop when she realised the suspect looked similar to the pic of the missing girl she had taken a case for. What were the chances this was her girl. She wouldnt email her clients back yet incase it wasnt a lead. She headed back out immediately calling a cab and haveing it drive to the area the suspect vanished to look for clues. The cruisers had left already likely in pursuit. But that didnt mean there wasnt clues or witness's. She took her time walking the street. Looking up at the buildings around it. Searching the ground carefully. Even glanceing to see if anyone one was standing around she could question.-
  16.
  17. RinVonDolli: /me Jaxon listened to his words. She refused to beleive that the non meta's will hate the meta's forever. She refused to give up hope that they could coexist. She gained a firm gaze, strong and determined but confused as to what she could do to change the humans mind about the meta's. She paced towards the screen. Shifting her eyes along the monitors while she allowed her mind to wonder options. HEr eyes switching between each monitor. Every face, Child and adult. "With every good there is a bad.." she said quitly. "we just have to show them... the difference between the two.." She began to rub her temples. The recoil from her doll had left her head throbbing. She pryed her eyes away from the monitors as she attempted to quell the ache. "the trick is... figuring out how..." She lifted her eyes to him. "I'm not sure about you.. but i haven't had many experiances with many humans... was never allowed to walk outside my parents door without my "shackles" She shuttered at the thought of once more being forced under her parents control. "Or that bastard Jedrek..." She heard the giggle of her doll once more and she eased her temper with a slow breath. "I don't know much about the human. only that they look like us..Or we look like them.."
  18.
  19. YsabeauCassamara: -She frowned not finding much at first, but then the light caught something shiny under a wheel of a car parked. She squated down to get a closer look and could see it looked like a small spike. Accessory or weapon she wondered. She quickly snapped a pic then picked up the spike with a small clean baggy and pocketed it. She continued to look for more but only found the one. A couple was exiting a near by building, she casually sauntered over and asked if they saw anything. Showing them her P.I credientials then the pic of the girl from her clients email. The both looked at eachother and the one nodded confirming that it was infact the same girl. The other pointed in the direction she and apparently some recuer on a motorcycle sped off in.-
  20.
  21. AleXander17456: Luke: I'm not saying it's not admirable, It has the same goal. I want the same things I had all this built so I could do just that, So I could help my people. But one person could only do so much. Right now we have to worry about you. They want you, most likely because of your power. -he explained as he tried to get her attention away from the monitors for a moment, when suddenly he got a message from his phone he read it.- Luke: Shit. -he said to himself as he definitely had to get going, he reached into his pocket grabbing his gold keycard to his hotel room and held it out to Jaxon- Luke: Listen, you may not know me very well and we don't trust each other, But I'm using this as a place to start. -he took a moment to think- Luke: Stay here, no one will find you, Just please don't touch or do anything this equipment is extremely sensitive. I have to go but I'll be back soon. Just stay here, please. -Quickly he made his way out taking the same elevator they used to get to his base.-
  22.
  23. RinVonDolli As Jaxons was handed a key card she tilted her head and examined it. Her purple hues scan over the card before she slipped it between her breasts since her pants didn't have any pockets. She watched at Luke walked out of the door and called after him but her voice fell on deaf ears. "Stay here" She mocked his suggestion with a slight sneer. Jaxon lifted her Doll to her chest. Squeezing the wicked little creature. Hours had passed and she was still uncertain as to what she could do around the place she had been brought to by the man who rescued her from being a prisoner once more. Finally she could take the confines of the walls no longer. Her boredom was high and she needed something to do. Least at the hotel she could play around on her laptop. Research for clues on meta humans. Laying on the floor she glared at the ceiling while she awaited the return of Luke. Her doll hugged in her arms like a corrupted little child laying to rest upon her chest. She stood to her feet finally, and began to change her clothes. Switching her work out top for cut off that hugged her torso and embraced her breasts, red and black plad skirt that hugged her lingered at her thighs yet over lapped like a school girl skirt. She pulled her hair into two seperate braided buns that danged with tendrils down her shoulders. She was unable to take anymore boredom and pulled the key card from her breasts and slipped it into the swipe lock after she had gotten off the elevator. Finally she made her way out the door while she pulled her jacket out of her back pack. Tieing her hair back to hide the black locks of her hair and shoved her glasses up the bridge of her nose to hide the Amethyst hues of her eyes. She lifted her hand and twithed her fingers forward as if she were telling the door behind to close itself, and it did with a quite click when she exited the building. Shoving her hands into her pockets she began to walk while using her clarevoiance map out the area around her, making sure no cops, no law or others were around who recognized her.
  24.
  25. lNarrator *The night brought a cool chill to the residents of Manhattan, and it was very likely that this same chill would grace Jaxon's bare thighs, if she were to have the same resistance to cold as any other normal person would've had. Though Jaxon herself had gifts... The trash swept through the streets as an icy wind breathed life into the stagnant, dirty city, blowing newspapers, crumpled receipts, and rolling cigarette butts that had been discarded by people 'just trying to make it another day' in this money pit of a metropolis. Having friends helped in a city this large and hungry, but finding someone willing to talk to you long enough to give you the time of day, was the hard part. The streets were largely devoid of human life, save for the rats that skittered into the shadows whenever someone turned their head their way. Movies glamorized the city in a way that just didn't mesh with reality. In actuality, a lot of the glitz and glamor was fashioned by media moguls who possessed entire blocks for their film shoots, and cleaners worked extensively to make it look neat and presentable. For everywhere else, there was homeless excrement and the walls reeked of piss, from both the dispossessed and from drunken Ivy League schoolers visiting from the surrounding areas. Jake was objectively wise in choosing his hideout in this part of town. Though everywhere on the island had been redeveloped, this was enough out of the way that it didn't attract people in the same droves that 42nd did. - The night was hers to explore.
  26.
  27. RinVonDolli Jaxon didn't mind the cold very much. It wasn't that cold at all in fact since it was a nice day. Though the faint chill was noticable on her thighs. It still didn't bother her. The chain from her collar clink together with each her breasts bounced with each step which also caused the bell around her neck to chime but only a little. The gothic attire she wore awarded her with many awkward stares and sneers from fashonista's and other snoody girls that scoffed at her. She had gotten used to it throughout her life whenever she wasn't under the control of her parents. They at least allowed her to wear what she wanted. The bangs of her hair hid the Chakra stone embetted in her forhead while the sleaves of her jacket hid the two on the palms of her hands. The two on her feet were hidden most of the time anyway. They represented five different meditational focals to keep her emotions under wraps. Yet she never allowed herself full stoicism. She took a turn into a game shop that was still open and began to look around. Her clarevoiance continued however, allowing her to mentally keep tabs on her surroundings. Being a Phsychic it's a simple thing for her to do with long range telekinetic pulses sent from her mind. They were low enough not to disturb anyone near by, but wide enough to give her a fair distance of mapping of 240 yards. She didn't want to push to far otherwise the pulses would be noticable. She had picked up a game for her little hand held and went to go pay for it. After purchasing in cash that she had saved throughout her life at her parents house. She had enough to buy her own game story and then some. Smiling happily on her purchase she skipped her way down a dark ally before she paused to think. Perhaps she should have stayed inside. Obvious reasons aside, she came a distant thought while her skip turned into a slight pace as she continued on her way.
  28.
  29. lNarrator: *With her psychic talents, she could tell that the male cashier was going to come onto her. Though the majority of the streets' better-to-do public saw her outfit as distasteful and deserving of a child half of her age, some people were into goth/scene culture. Worse, guys at gaming shops were typically devoid of female contact, and she may have received a compliment, stating that she looked like a 'goth Jinx ((League))' at one point in her life or another. After all, her shape was reminiscient of many video game vixens, despite her age. It wouldn't take a detective to notice that the 3 other fashionless teenage customers were looking at her after her back was turned, being as their gazes lingered for a little too long and the weight of their eyes were there. - As she chose the game and began walking up to the counter, the video game clerk behind the counter stopped staring at her, and turned his head down to look towards the glass counter to which she would put down the game cartridge. He waited for her momentum to come to a complete halt, before he mustered up all of the charm and swagger that he could to try to get her to notice him.
  30. lNarrator: "S'up." the cashier stated, looking down to her cartridge for a moment, before looking to meet her eyes.
  31.
  32. RinVonDolli The game was a horror game. The darkest of the horror games in the game industry for a hand held game. She could feel the eyes of those in the store upon her. She kept her focuse on a self made task, a mission to sate her boredom and that was what she was going to do. Despite her gothic attire and apearance she wasn't at all elusive of gazes even though some of them made her feel awkward. But she was comfortable enough in her own skin and body to feel comfortable in her clothes. Her rbow perched slightly when she was greeted by the cashier and a slight grin slipped across her lips. The slight gap of her lips in her lucious smile allowed a slight glimpse of what looked like four sharp k-nines at the top of her maw and two sharp but duller k-nines on the bottom row of her maw. "Well Hello there yourself." She played along with his attempt at charming her. Being a game store she didn't bother hiding her eyes very much behind the dark shades of her glasses. Most often thought they were eye contacts for cosplay purposes so it put her mind at ease some. She reached for the strap of bunny back pack. It was black, with a crimson bow and the insides of it's ears were matching. it had been sown where what looked like the previous zipper used to be in a stitched like sucture. The zipper had been moved to it's throat and it's stomach as if one would perform an autopsy and she dug a bill from it's insides and held it out to him while she hugged the corrupted dolly in her arm. She peaked over the rim of her glasses allowing her purple eyes to be seen. "Let me know when the next one comes out next time I come in Ya?"
  33.
  34. lNarrator: Being that her glasses weren't in the way, the cashier (Devon) glanced up at her eyes for a moment before returning his gaze back to the game. "Nice contacts." the black-clad cashier noted as he rang up the game. It was a penny shy of being 40 dollars. "-my sister... She had a pair like that too back when we were growing up." Oh, how very wrong he was. His sister likely didn't have anything like Jaxon had, but - he would never know. "Alright, that'll be $39.99," Devon said to the gothic teen, as he gave her a cursory glance, searching for something to compliment. Defaulting to something easier and foolproof, he said " 'ey. I like your style." he'd add with a smirk that barely revealed his set of pearly white teeth that hid behind his thin, pale lips. If she didn't verbally respond to this compliment, he would ask, "Do you play Smash or Pass?"
  35. RinVonDolli Jaxon slipped over two twenty dollar bills after pulling it out of the bunny she still had laying on the counter. Stuffy looking as if it were laying on an autopsy table with it's front split open for such proceedure. She zipped the bunny up the front and connected the other two zippers on it's throat before pulling the strap back onto her shoulder, where it now hung down her back "Like minds think alike.." She murmured about his sister. Little would he know it was a farse since her eyes were naturally purple. "Thank you. Not many do like my style." She didn't care much for the penny back but she awaited for her game to be bagged and handed back to her. "No?" her tone was questioning but firm at the same time. She wasn't sure was Smash or Pass was, she had only gained her freedom from her parents control a couple days ago. She only knew little about games thanks to a boy she met while traveling up from Kentucky to New York. Traveling a bus together he bantored on about all kinds of awesome games but shyed away when she mentioned any horror games. A mental smile at the memory. Not all humans were bad, she thought. As long as they didn't know she was a meta human. "But it getting late.." She continued shaking her mind from the thought of her travels and offered another smile this time allowing him better view of her six sharpened teeth, turning her sweet smile into an unintentional wicked display. "I should be headed home before the creeps come out.." She lied, she hated lieing but she knew she had to keep herself hidden.
  36.
  37. lNarrator: "...have you...? Ever heard of it?" Devon wondered, hearing the certainty in her voice, but also the glaring question mark at the end. Then, shaking his head and waving his hand, he waved it off. "-it's nothing," he quickly interjected. "Just a game.". Typing in the code from the back of the game, he looked up. "Do you have a rewards card with us?" If she answered negatively, then, "Well.... it's not gonna reduce the price of this game but, it'll give you a few points towards your next purchase, or maybe you can get some swag for your teddy bear-?". He thought that statement would've been funny, and smiled as such - if there was no fanfare or reaction from her, his face would fall as he backpedaled to distance himself away from the statement. "-yeah, well... Here's your penny back," he remarked, while looking at her teeth. Filed.... She truly was a kindred spirit. She was a girl, so no danger bells rang in his head. His father had never raised a hand to him once in his life; danger was relative and metas were few. "Y'know, I wanna get my tongue forked," he said, trying to make small talk, before Jaxon cut that off and stated that she 'wanted to get home' and that 'it was getting late out'. Devon didn't have the social graces to understand that she was trying to get away from him, only that she had been in the store less than a full minute now and was already ready to leave. "You know, I work on Thursdays through Saturdays," he remarked out of the side of his mouth after she had finished saying how she wanted to leave. "You should come back sometime, maybe we can hang out?" he grinned. "We can team up on that game and I can give you a few items and tips?"
  38.
  39. RinVonDolli Jaxon only tilted her head and decided to keep her story about her lack of social activies bottled into the back of her mind. As if she didn't have enough going on already. "I don't have one..." She answered his question about a rewards card. "I don't have my Id or an account here" she murmured while she lightly squeezed the doll. The dolls head lulled to the side slightly which excited an eerie giggle from the small figure. It inticed her smile a little more "Lopsy doesn't like many accessories.. he eats them too much kind of why i had to perform an autopsy.." She shrugged her shoulders. "Dollra doesn't like them.." She mumbled refering to her Doll. "She tdidn't mean to cut him off so she offered a apologetic glance. She pondered on why one would want to slice their tongue in two. Her uncle had done it at one point in time to make himself seem more intimidating to his fathers clients. "I'll be here as often as i can.." She smiled lightly before turning her eyes down towards her watch. She had been gone from the secret confines of Luke's home for too long as it was. She didn't want to run the risk of being caught. It was starting to make her anxious. She also didn't want it to get too high, otherwise her doll would start acting up again. "But i really must be going.." she took a quick glance towards the door. She was sure the law was still out looking for her. "Maybe next time.." She said while she curled her bottom lip between her teeth trying. She could feel them lingering on the edges of her clarvoiance 240 yards away. Either by chance or by luck she could feel the law creeping closer to her edges. She offered him one more smile while she held her hand out for the game.
  40.
  41. lNarrator: "Alright," Devon smiled, feeling pleased in his progress between the two of them. "I'll see ya around-!" - Upon leaving, the gusts of wind had calmed some, but the clouds overhead were beginning to darken due to the sun's waning presence. Indeed it was getting late; Jaxon had already killed a few hours at the Loft before the confines of the four walls had forced her into the streets and into making an impulsive game purchase, and now reality was setting back in again. Perhaps Luke would be upset if he had come back and she wasn't there? Perhaps he had returned and left again, searching the streets madly for her? Questions such as these might have begun to surface as the route home laid before her. The populace on the street were sparse, but upon observation, she might be able to notice that the pedestrians were less and less female, and that the coats were getting thicker, and lower in value. Sundown was a rough time around here, and it showed via implicated threat.
  42.
  43. RinVonDolli Jaxon made her way out of the door, happy with her purchase of said horror game, she continued to make her way through the allyways to avoid any law seeing her. She paused to turn her eyes around the area while her clarvoiance confirmed that she was alone, at least, from the laws eyes. The few pedestrians she did see within her clarvoiance, were out of sight and nowhere near her to see. She pried the spikes out of her bunny back pack and pulled on the straps around her ars and legs. She didn't feel too naked now and the metal spikes on the straps served many purposes. Between Offence and deffence. She could use the chain from her choker as well but she didn't bother it much unless she had to. One by one the spikes plucked themselves frm the straps and slithered towards her feet while the flattened and stretched into plates while she walked. Assending to the roof but kept herself low enough to hide behind them while she walked upon plate after plate heading back to where she was taken after her rescue. The doll was idle, resting her the embrace of her arms curled around it.
  44.
  45. lNarrator: *People were much more worried about their own personal safety than they were of a woman who looked as if she'd be the type to wear earbuds, merely to deter people from starting a conversation with her. One thing that people never warned you about while scaling buildings, was how dirty they were. Buildings are neither oft washed nor scaled, and when scaling a building in a skirt, a more bashful person might be hit with the jarring realization of how many windows a building in this city actually had, and that there were people, either custodians if it were a comercial district (which was the most likely), or people and cats (if it were residential) as she scaled up the building. The winds were stronger here, channeling through the other building rows, and unbroken by the masses that would obstruct it at or near street level. - As one should expect, the rooftops were clear.... but one could never be too careful. She made it back to the safety of their Lair, in time before Luke had
