I wanted to give you a bit more information about us and what it is that we are wanting so that you can make a proposal to your clan members that still want to participate in TS league.

CURRENT TEAM

Currently we have 3 solid members who play together almost every night of the week.  These members are:

We have two additional members that are reliable and play with us fairly regularly, but they are less available for scheduled matches because of various circumstances. These members play with us usually 3 or 4 times a week.

We also have other members that are less active =low= clan members who still show up every now and then to play with us- but cannot be relied upon at all because of schedules or work or family issues. These members include:

Between all these different people- our roster is almost never the same 5 or 7 people. We also have a difficult time scheduling regular practices of 5 people due to availability issues. Because of this we have been unable to train together on tactics (except for the 3 of us, who are active) and become a solid TS league team. We have been searching for an additional 3  or 4 regular, reliable players to add to our roster so that we can create something new with between 7 and 8 members.

NEW CLAN

If we could get 3 or 4 members from +GER+ or SG who wanted to play TS regularly- that would be perfect for us. If that happened- and if we were able to work together- we would like to start a new TS clan. We have considered new names such as "TheHandsomes" (HandsomeElf, HandsomeOrc,etc.etc.), the "WhatEver" Clan (w/e/anderson, w/e/zwiebi), the "SomethingElse" clan (SmtE|anderson, SmtE|Zwiebi), but we are open to many more ideas, since most of these are not that great. We think it would be nice to move away from the =low=/+GER+ history by creating this new clan- but we are open to all suggestions at this point. Above all we just want to play. We want to have a regular team so we can get better by practicing together, sharing tactics and tips/tricks of the game.

DIFFERENT GAMEMODES

We want to be clear about this: we want to make a strictly TS team. We are not interested in entering the CTF league with this new team. However, if you ever would need backup players in the +GER+ CTF team, we would be happy to play. If you would like, you can add us to your CTF roster, and if something happens (in need of a 5th for a CW or a PCW) we could help you out with a player.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN NEW MEMBERS

We have a few requirements for what we would want in a new clan member.

First and foremost- they have to be able to speak english to a level that they feel comfortable communicating with us. We don't need them to be fluent or have a perfect accent or anything. As long as they can say "narrows, 20 hp, rush rush!" and "medic please" and they can understand the important parts of tactics discussions then we will be okay. We just need to be able to communicate together as a clan.

Second- we need all new members to use IRC, and Ts3. This is essential for us. We currently also use Skype to communicate with less active members, but we are trying to move more to IRC instead of skype. So skype is not essential. They must have a headset or ability to get one.

Third- we need them to be available to play at least 3 to 4 nights a week and be able to tell us what nights those will be. Being communicative is important for scheduling PCW's and CW's. They have to be able to say "I'll be available Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday nights this week" and if something changes they need to be able to come to IRC and say "sorry guys, won't be around tonight to play- but will be there tomorrow". We cant have players who will say they will be there- and then will just disappear. Consistency, communication, availability, is all important for us.

Finally- I would like to request that any members you recommend to us be mature enough to handle the responsibilities of being in a league team. Posting Demo's to the UZL site in a timely fashion, not ragequiting or raging in game at the opponent, etc. etc. Most of us are older than 20 already. Most of us have steady jobs and don't have time to deal with people like that.

SERVERS AND TS3 NEEDS

We currently have a private server that we use for practicing TS most nights. We play almost every night at 21:00 until 24:00. The private server is hosted in Hungary because that is the best deal that we could find. We have about 6 more months on the contract with them before we have to renew it or find a replacement. At this point in time we don't think it is necessary to have a public server. Our private server also comes with a Ts3 channel which we use all the time as well. It would be nice to have a private TS3 because then we can have channels instead of just one room. We are prepared to make this upgrade with our provider as soon as we have a solid team in place.

WEBSITE

We took our website down about one month ago because we felt that it no longer reflected our clan accurately. We still have the URL (urtlowclan.com), and more importantly, the hosting plan behind it, but we have no content there yet. We can also move to another domain easily when we have a new clan name for example. To be honest- the 3 of us that are here have hardly any time to devote to building the website that currently we can't update with worthy information, such as team roster, tactics, news about league results, etc.  We all want a website though. Once we have a team and a new clan name- we will immediately begin gathering content to make the site again.

So that is basically everything to know about us and what we are wanting. We love playing- we are decent players- and we want to build a really good team. We think that if we get the right team we could easily make it to Division 8 or higher in UzL with a good amount of practice and dedication.
